One of the best moving companies I've ever used. So often movers give you this uncertain feeling that you are being cheated or stolen from. NOT THESE GUYS!!! Friendly, super upbeat, professional, efficient, honest, and priced nicely. No surprises. The way moving should be. They have their own truck. None of this haphazard renting of a truck just before the job. The truck comes fully equipped, complete with a killer platform liftgate--largest I've ever seen a mover use. They come with everything they need. Including their own strength and vigor. It was Noah and Akeem. They were fast but didn't rush or do anything sloppily. They had a particular difficult job, packing and moving an elderly person who had become a hoarder. Not the nicest situation, but they handled it like champs with no complaining or snide comments. We gave them a video of the room they were moving and they were pretty close time-wise to the estimate. They had to discard some old furniture, break down several things, and pack a lot of things too. The move was from Anaheim to Thousand Palms, CA (near Palm Springs). They very quickly unloaded the truck at a storage facility there. I give them my highest recommendation to anyone who has to move in this tri-county area. Super Impressed! I don't usually leave reviews, but Helpful Movers totally earned this one! I hired them to help with a move, hang my TVs, and even do some junk removal -- and they crushed it. Seriously, these guys are the real deal. They showed up on time, super professional but also really personable and easy to talk to. You can tell they care about doing a great job. They handled everything carefully, worked fast, and made sure I was happy with where everything went before they wrapped up. What I loved most is that they went above and beyond without me even asking -- small things like cleaning up as they went, organizing cables neatly when mounting the TVs, and making sure nothing got scratched or scuffed. Helpful Moving was a breath of fresh air. The movers were prompt, professional, and such a pleasure. I was debating even utilizing a moving company (thinking maybe I can rent a uhaul etc) but I am so glad I did. I requested a quote for moving a single wardrobe 6 miles. it says online that they are $99 an hour. when I got my estimate (3 hours later) they quoted me $300 to go 6 miles with a single piece of furniture. yikes. read more
