Love, love, love Hendo's. Tonight they have their tapas menu and I ordered chicken tacos. Their service impeccable as always. This place has the best ambience on the island. Keep it up!

Great place for sushi on Jost. Heads up you do need to order ahead by 3pm on Thursday for that night. The sushi is made to order only. Service is great! Cute souvenir shop. The lavender lemonade was delicious. They accommodated our large party of 25! Location is right next to soggy dollar. They have a nice courtyard with lights at night for amazing pictures. There is cornhole on the beach. Beautiful views. Great place to watch sports beachfront while in the British Virgin Islands.

Very good fare and friendly service. Plane on waiting as it is usually busy and timing is ish-ish. Can't beat the ambiance of White Bay.

Everything is so fresh and packed with flavor, that you really can't go wrong with anything in the menu. The vegetable paella was delicious, the two tridatos we tried were fresh and bright with the different sauces on top, and the key lime pie was absolutely amazing. It is definitely the vacationers favorite spot, but I wouldn't say it's too touristy or anything. It gets a lot of attention because it's good and a nice place to eat dinner with your family on vacation. We sat at the bar and the bartender was super friendly. The host was kind enough to try to squeeze us in anywhere he could so for that we are very grateful. The food took awhile to come out, but that's probably just island time stuff, and besides the place was PACKED. But our appetizers and desserts came out really quickly. We loved our time here and would definitely recommend giving it a try if possible! There is a good mix of seafood and "land breezes" on the menu, plus a couple vegetarian plates if needed. Perfect for cocktail and mocktails as well!

After getting an amazing cocktail at the bar while waiting for our table, and then receiving a great spot on the front corner of the patio things started going downhill as others have mentioned. After taking our order, we never saw our server again (other than watching him help other tables) until after our entrees were delivered and we asked someone to find him to help us get a glass of wine. We had originally planned to order a bottle but just opted for a glass at that point. Our appetizers dishes and empty cocktail glasses also sat for quite awhile on the table while we waited. Food was a mixed bag. Enjoyed the special soup and tango salad but our grouper and wahoo entrees were disappointing and overcooked. Skipped dessert as we were both a bit bummed at the overall experience. Not sure if we would try again with other spots on the island we would like to try, but if we did, would opt for the bar in hopes of better service.

I love when I get excited to write a review for a new restaurant I tried on vacation. This trip…read moretook me to St. Thomas, and being an island community, it also meant seafood, which I love and is hard to come by in Phoenix, AZ. The Fish Market sits on the beach at the bottom of the Elysian Hotel. While you can walk there, it's a long, winding road through the hotel grounds. While I want to say we were met with a warm island welcome, instead, we were met by a grouchy young lady who seemed less than happy to be working or enjoying her day. On a positive note, our waitress, Kieke, was delightful and sweet and a complete opposite from the hostess. As for the food, let me be honest when I say it was one of the top two seafood meals I've had in my life. I got the crab-stuffed grouper with broccolini and couscous. It was cooked perfectly and had a sauce that was delicious! At the end of the day, this was a great experience, and if you can get down to the restaurant (which is a hike), you will absolutely enjoy the meal and ask for Kieke and ignore the rude hostess.

Both were really good; the nachos were super fresh and flavorful with a nice mix of textures, and the scramble was light but still filling with plenty of veggies. Definitely felt like a good, balanced brunch option. The service was great, friendly, attentive, and everything came out at a good pace. The only thing that wasn't my favorite was the Bloody Mary. It had a pretty strong horseradish kick, which just isn't my thing, but if you like that extra spice you'd probably enjoy it. Overall, great food, beautiful setting, and a solid brunch spot. I'd absolutely come back (and probably stick to mimosas next time!).
