Hostess said they got slammed and it would be 10-15 min to be seated. We waited 30 min. Then when we ordered the waitress said they got slammed and we waited another 30 minutes for our food. No one new had been seated so I'm not sure what they meant by slammed after we got there. Maybe they were short staffed, but it seemed to me they just didn't know how to operate very efficiently. Came in on a Monday morning around 10am with my 3 year old daughter. Restaurant was half empty and I was told it would be a 15 minute wait. I asked to sit in the empty table for 2 right near the door but was told it was "taken". The very young girl at the front was very blunt and rude. As we were walking out as I wasn't going to sit and wait in an empty restaurant, a man walked in for a table for 1 and got seated. We've gone to this restaurant for the past 7 years. It used to be really good. The past few visits over the last few years have gone downhill. A few months ago we went in and were seated right away. Just husband, son and I. Shortly after a party of six was seated No one came to greet us, take our drink order or anything. The party of six was greeted and drink order taken them food order. After 15 minutes we told a busier we were leaving. She asked if we wanted our drinks to go. As if that was helpful! We went in Friday 10/28 around 11:15, I opened up my insulated cup with creamer and ordered coffee and husband ordered a soda. I was brought a cup of coffee filled to the brim. So obviously I couldn't add my creamer nor pour the coffee in my cup. I finally see him and wave him down asking for coffee in my personal cup. He rolled his eyes and walked off. He rang out a ticket, took an order then dropped off someone else's ticket....obviously annoyed with me. Finally I got my coffee and he took our order. We finally get our order and everything was cold! My husband took a few sips of his soda and me a few sips of my coffee. Finally wave the waiter down, we TRIED to explain it was cold but my husband had to get to work but after 2 words out of my mouth he walked off. He took the plates and left. We waited about 10 minutes for him to return and we again TRIED to explain we didn't want new food we waited long enough and husband had to get to work....but all I could get out is "we don't ..." and he walked off again! Looked like they were filming something so the manager was focused on that and nothing else. Kinda missed the servers at the other location. We tried this one out because it's closer to our house. NEVER again. This was my first time here, and our last. When we arrived, I put our name in and we were told 35-40 min wait. After nearly an hour waiting and watching party after party that arrived after us being seated, I went in to inquire with the hostess. I noticed that people 12 parties below us had been highlighted and seated. I was told that the reason for our wait was because we were 2 persons and a high-chair, therefore they couldn't seat us at a 2-top table. The manager happened to be there at the time and assured me we would be seated at the next available table. The manager went on to attend to other things, and we watched the hostesses seat THREE more tables in front of us. One of the parties was a party of 3 that arrived a good 30 minutes after us. If you consider 2 plus a high-chair a party of 3, then please explain WHY this party of 3 was also seated before us. The manager finally came back outside and I asked for an update. FINALLY they called our name and then said "party of 2" ... OH, I thought the high-chair made us a party of 3 which is why you said the 6 parties of 2 that arrived after us were seated first. This makes no sense. They took us into the dining room where I noted that they party of 3 (again, that arrived 30 minutes after us) were seated a beautiful 4-top table in corner that would have been perfect for our party of 2+. Again, none of their excuses was making any sense. Now, are you ready for this? They sat us a 2-top table. WHAT !?!?!??! You just told me that the reason the other 6 parties of 2 , who arrived after us, were seated first was because we wouldn't fit a 2-top with a high-chair. Mind you, we have a 2 year old with us who was getting very fussy and we are now at a 1 hour 15 minute wait. They couldn't care less. The manager took our order and expedited our food. Appreciated, but frankly too little, too late. The experience had already been ruined. The manager delivered our food and when we began to eat, we realized we only had 2 sets of silverware. It took several minutes to flag someone down to find silverware. Our server, Hunter, was very nice. Too bad he was on the back end of a truly HORRIBLE and unacceptable experience. People who arrived after us were seated, ate, and left while we were still waiting to be seated. Not 1 dime was compensated on our bill. Food was good, Hostesses are in DESPERATE need of some serious training. Not one person could say "I'm sorry". Nothing ... We WON'T be back. read more

Wow! Bennys are amazing, biscuits and gravy were awesome and my daughter got a pancake the size of pizza. The hollandaise is rich and the eggs have farm fresh flavor. Loved it !! I had the biscuit and gravy breakfast with sausage gravy with a bacon add on. Everything tasted amazing. My girlfriend had the French toast with sausage add on, both were awesome. The sausage party's are off the charts good. Our server Caitlyn was great! They aren't the biggest place and they were pretty busy so expect a little bit of a wait but the food and service made it well worth it. We will definitely be back. read more

We like to go out for brunch after church on Sunday so we tried the Henhouse today. Our first time there. We were very impressed, we love the atmosphere, background music (not overwhelming) and we appreciated that they are patriotic and not forcing their staff to wear masks. It was wonderful to see their smiling faces. And they were smiling and very friendly. The food was delicious, huge portions it would be easy to split some thing. This place has been on my radar for a while now as I drive by it frequently. This morning I was hankering for a breakfast burrito so I did what any Yelpster would do, I asked Yelp for a good breakfast burrito. The Henhouse Cafe came up as one of my choices. Say no more I was there. This place is big enough to accommodate a large hungry weekend crowd. It is nicely decorated with a country theme. The wait staff all wear t-shirts that say "A rooster crows, but a hen delivers". The place was about half full on a Saturday morning. I was seated immediately. It did take a few minutes for our waitress to arrive. I got my coffee and ordered my breakfast burrito. They charged an extra 49 cents to add jalapenos. The meal was out in a reasonable amount of time. The burrito consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage, green and red bell peppers, onions, potatoes, cheese, and the jalapenos i ordered. All this was stuffed into a large flour tortilla. It came with a side of salsa. I couldn't finish it all. It was one of the best breakfast burritos I've had in a while. The price was reasonable, the service ok, the food excellent. There will be a return trip in the future. read more

The huevos rancheros are amazing here. Most of the food is very very tasty. However the service is truly hit or miss. It can take a very long time to get served. Some of the wait staff today was very unfriendly and seemed as if they had no interest in assisting us. I had the egg burrito with just egg whites and wheat tortilla with the potatoes inside. I know It's boring. But it tasted good. And will be back to try something else off of their menu . However my friend and I loved our server hector! He was very attentive, pleasant to talk to, knew the menu well and assisted me with picking my breakfast. First time here was open Airy with plenty of seating and good Elbow Room. Very good menu with lots of selection. Reasonable prices and wait staff was very friendly and able to offer a couple of suggestions which turned out to be excellent. There are plenty of GOOD ones around, and this was just that: it was GOOD. Nothing great about it. My wife and I went here for breakfast last Sunday and it was busy but a manageable wait. When we were seated a sweet and nice server, Faith served us and let me tell you she was very attentive and had a great personality. Always smiling and up beat. She said this was her first waitress job although I doubt that since she seems to know what to do like a pro. I had the special and my wife had a burger which was delicious. The food was good as always, as we are regulars and come back for the food. Faith always made sure my soda and my wife's coffee were NEVER empty checking on us to make sure we were taken care of. We will be back and I suggest you ask for Faith when you come as she will be really attentive to your needs as she was to ours. We will ask for her the next time we go back. 5 STARS!!! The worst experience. Ordered a dish with no sausage and it came out with sausage. When I told them they said "oh well the gravy has sausage". Well, then please tell me that when I order "no sausage". Very rude and acted like them messing up my order was my fault. (Side note: Previous time had another issue where the server forgot to leave out onions and when I told her she cried and said she would have to pay for it so I just kept it.) We stopped in on a whim. (We were trying to get to Costco super early and beat the rush but they weren't open, so we drove until we saw a place for breakfast.) OMG! So glad we did. The food is phenomenal! Super delicious and generous servings. I had what was called "Grandpa's Skillet" or something like that. Definitely recommend. The toast was even great. I think they grill it maybe? Cons: It was crowded and noisy. The tables are quite close together. There was a line of people waiting as we were leaving.
