This is some of the most amazing food I have had while in Nashville. The food is prepared well, is high quality, and in appropriate proportions. The restaurant is tightly packed, but the low lighting helped maintain an intimate atmosphere with the table. Service is a little slow, but once you have put your order in the food comes out at a good pace. You can fill that time by trying out their delightful cocktails! I have been dreaming about the foie gras ever since our visit. I am excited to come back soon. Of you're looking for a romantic dining experience, or just some amazing French cuisine, Pastis is the spot for you.

Nice ambiance, servers attentive and food was impeccable. We enjoyed the savory bouillabaisse with warm French baguettes and the Salad Verte with lively lemony vinaigrette dressing . The Pascal Mullet Attitude Pinot noir was a nice complement to our meal. Our final treat was the vanilla ice cream with bittersweet chocolate. (Profiteroles). Loved the vibe and the energy of this delightful eatery in Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood. Love it and you will too!

Pastis is always amazing! Great food and great service! I had the Sunday Plat DuJour, Pork and Peaches pictured below. My wife had the Trout Amandine. Both dishes were delicious!

The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were warm and attentive. The deviled eggs, however, were too salty for my palate. The salmon was cooked to perfection, though the food was presented at a lukewarm temperature despite being served in a very hot dish. The white wine sauce had a nice blend of ingredients, and while it was a touch salty on its own, it balanced well with the potatoes and salmon. I would have appreciated heated spices as a pairing option, but after receiving lukewarm food, I was too unenthused to explore adding more flavor to the dish.

I had brunch at Nashville's Pastis location a couple of weeks ago with my husband and a couple of his aunt and uncle, and we had a very nice brunch overall. I left Nashville about 5 years ago, and the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood has continued to grow, change, expand (there's a Hermes now?!). That means that parking can be a struggle, so give yourself some time to find some street parking and check to make sure a meter maid is going to run by to ticket you (we watched it happen one block over from where we parked). On a Saturday morning at 10:30, Pastis wasn't busy, but it was almost full as we were leaving, so I recommend making a reservation unless you're okay with/prefer to sit at the bar. If you've been to other Pastis locations, the menu and the decor/ambiance will be familiar to you. I happen to love a French brunch, so I struggled with what to order! We started with an order of their Leeks Vinaigrette to share. It's a small dish but very good - a light, cold, refreshing, classic starter. I ordered the Jambon Beurre, one of the most classic French sandwiches (baguette, butter, ham, and Comté cheese). It was classic and exactly what I wanted. You really can't go wrong with something this simple when the ingredients are great (especially when it comes to that butter). Between the rest of us, we tried and enjoyed Onion Soup, Salade Niçoise, Quiche Lorraine, and the Egg White Omelette with mushrooms. Everyone seemed to enjoy what they ordered as well. Our service was very good, and this location of Pastis is as pretty and transporting as their other locations. You really do feel as if you've left Nashville when you walk inside. With good service, great ambiance, a classic menu, and good food, Pastis is a good option for any meal.

What a sweet little space to have a quick bite! We were searching around the WeHo area for something new that we haven't had before and needed lunch to be quick. Landed upon Pastis and Gray gave us the rundown of his favorites for midday dining. We settled on the st tropez spritz which was crisp and refreshing and some sweet tea since it was in the 90s outside. Even though this is a French establishment by design, they had hearty meals like beef stroganoff, cheeseburgers and chicken sandwiches. After noshing on fries (because why not?) as an app, we split a cheeseburger and caesar salad. Overall, great place for lunch and we are determined to come back for dinner soon. It's tucked away, so keep going until you find it. It's def worth it!

Oh pastis, how I love you so. Elevated French dining done right. We ordered the escargot, Caesar salad and for my main entree I had the filet. The filet was tender and juicy, and the sauce was rich and buttery with the right amount of pepper. Obviously we had to get dessert and we opted for the profiteroles, puff pastry ball with vanilla ice cream in the middle drizzled in chocolate sauce. Inside is set up very much like a French bistro and the service was great, no complaints. We were seated promptly and our food came out at a reasonable time. *chef's kiss

This place is such a fun New York vibe. It's very French bistro and the service is great. The food is very good. Lots of help for figuring out gluten free options. This is a very great place for a girls night. The outdoor patio is so cute and the bar area inside is also very cute. Would def come back. Will also Mention the fryers are separate so the fries are gf with no cross contamination!

So good and a must visit if you are in the Nashville area. We sat outside on a "cooler" summer night and it was the perfect vibe for our date night. We started off with the burrata and the Caesar salad, both were delicious. For our entrees we ordered the steak sandwich with fries and then the chicken paillard. My husband loved the steak sandwich and I loveeeddd the chicken. Our waiter was very helpful and had great recommendations. We will be back in the future.

A bright, upscale, turn of the century setting with a full bar, extensive wine list, and full service, Pastis is very good, but misses the mark. The Escargot were small, good, but unremarkable. The (French) Onion Soup is very light and is overpowered by all the cheese. The Crispy Artichokes were soaked in oil. The Bouillabaisse is excellent. Service was attentive, but our wine wine was not kept at the table. There is no handicap parking.

Pastis came highly recommended, and I'm glad I've been able to enjoy it a couple of times - one time for a birthday celebration & the other with a friend. It's in the transformed WeHo area, and once you step into the space, you don't feel like you're in Nashville anymore. It's a nice size with what I can imagine to be French decor. The table & booths are comfortable. I'm looking forward to trying their brunch. There's street parking if available- depending on when you visit, you might have to pay to park. Love: service (kind, helpful); escargots (first time ever!, buttery, rich); trout almandine (beautiful flavor, cooked just right); bar steak (cooked to the right temp, good flavor, love the frites); sticky toffee pudding (first time thanks to server who gifted it, moist, delicious!) Like: profiteroles (best vanilla ice cream ever); ouefs mayonnaise (hard to impress me with this dish but it's the best I've had at a restaurant); crispy artichokes

I have been to other Pastis locations, and I admit this might be my favorite. The Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood is perfect for the restaurant, the food is amazing, the service is so nice, and the surrounding aesthetics are top tier.

Ambiance- transported right into a French bistro in Paris! Service - very helpful and attentive Food - artichoke was so good. A little greasy but tasty. Onion soup is super rich and yummy. Steak sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. Parking - off street. Tough to find. A few paid lots near by.

    Do they offer valet parking?

Pastis does not offer valet parking but there is valet parking about 100 feet from the restaurant for all the ones around the street. The street is one way so if you drive past Pastis it is on your left.

    Is it dog friendly?

    Only for service animals.

There was no live music available at the time, but they did have a DJ which I thought was spinning the turntable rather well. It's my bad that I didn't also catch on that his is basically a Tequila Bar, rather than a more general craft cocktail establishment. Judging by the well stocked bar and the word of our waitress, other alcohol and their associated craft creations are available, but it's pretty much off menu and not well into our waitress' repertoire. And yes, Cinco de Mayo was just a few days away. One member of our party just wanted a soft drink, which was not possible that night as their CO2 was down. That did make me wonder whether the non-alcohol drinkers had much to chose from here. I suppose we could have then wandered over to the Redemption Bar at Chief's? Anyway, we're not Tequila Drinkers, and since other drink options appeared to be guesswork, we left towards more traditional mixed drinks (and live music) at a nearby Printers Alley bar. This was a rare night that I really wanted a craft cocktail in a smooth environment, and in the end it just wasn't the same.
