Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous Divine. Any place that gives me a pickle martini is A+ in my book. Everything here is spectacular- service is outstanding, food is lovely, ambiance is gorg. The only thing I will say about ambiance- I am young so I don't have this problem, but my dad is north of sixty and has a harder time seeing in dim, recessed lighting. He had to look at the menu using his phone flashlight. Again, I don't struggle with this issue but if you are a visually challenged person or dining with visually challenged people have them bring their glasses. The food is delicious, divine, and delightful. Presentation is so cute. We got all manner of dishes and drinks, including my earlier mentioned heavenly sent pickle martini. If you love pickles like I do it is a must, it comes in a teeny martini glass and was scrumdiddlyumptious. Please sprinkle my ashes here. Better yet, mix me into a pickle martini. Visited on a Saturday night with my husband for a date night. Parking in WeHo can be a nightmare, but we found free street parking near Humphreys Street Coffee and walked over. It wasn't too far and made getting there much easier. We were promptly seated at a U-shaped booth inside, which was comfortable and great for conversation. Our server was fine, he was friendly enough and efficient, but didn't add much to the overall experience. We shared the Caesar salad, then ordered the burger and the beef bourguignon. I thought all of the food was very good. Everything was well prepared, and we enjoyed our meal. Our check came to around $130. Overall, we had a good experience, but neither of us felt compelled to return. While the food was enjoyable, there wasn't anything particularly memorable that made the price point feel justified. It's a solid option for a nice dinner, but in a city with so many great restaurants, it didn't quite stand out enough for us to make a second visit. read more

This is some of the most amazing food I have had while in Nashville. The food is prepared well, is high quality, and in appropriate proportions. The restaurant is tightly packed, but the low lighting helped maintain an intimate atmosphere with the table. The salmon was cooked to perfection, though the food was presented at a lukewarm temperature despite being served in a very hot dish. I had brunch at Nashville's Pastis location a couple of weeks ago with my husband and a couple of his aunt and uncle, and we had a very nice brunch overall. I left Nashville about 5 years ago, and the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood has continued to grow, change, expand (there's a Hermes now?!). That means that parking can be a struggle, so give yourself some time to find some street parking and check to make sure a meter maid is going to run by to ticket you (we watched it happen one block over from where we parked). On a Saturday morning at 10:30, Pastis wasn't busy, but it was almost full as we were leaving, so I recommend making a reservation unless you're okay with/prefer to sit at the bar. If you've been to other Pastis locations, the menu and the decor/ambiance will be familiar to you. I happen to love a French brunch, so I struggled with what to order! We started with an order of their Leeks Vinaigrette to share. It's a small dish but very good - a light, cold, refreshing, classic starter. I ordered the Jambon Beurre, one of the most classic French sandwiches (baguette, butter, ham, and Comté cheese). It was classic and exactly what I wanted. You really can't go wrong with something this simple when the ingredients are great (especially when it comes to that butter). Between the rest of us, we tried and enjoyed Onion Soup, Salade Niçoise, Quiche Lorraine, and the Egg White Omelette with mushrooms. Everyone seemed to enjoy what they ordered as well. Our service was very good, and this location of Pastis is as pretty and transporting as their other locations. You really do feel as if you've left Nashville when you walk inside. What a sweet little space to have a quick bite! We were searching around the WeHo area for something new that we haven't had before and needed lunch to be quick. Landed upon Pastis and Gray gave us the rundown of his favorites for midday dining. We settled on the st tropez spritz which was crisp and refreshing and some sweet tea since it was in the 90s outside. Even though this is a French establishment by design, they had hearty meals like beef stroganoff, cheeseburgers and chicken sandwiches. After noshing on fries (because why not?) as an app, we split a cheeseburger and caesar salad. Overall, great place for lunch and we are determined to come back for dinner soon. Oh pastis, how I love you so. Elevated French dining done right. We ordered the escargot, Caesar salad and for my main entree I had the filet. The filet was tender and juicy, and the sauce was rich and buttery with the right amount of pepper. First time going to pastis. Hannah the server was incredible! I had an early reservation so things weren't too busy yet. Beautiful restaurant inside with dim lighting and nice accents throughout. I started with the house bread, the one in the left was a crunchier loaf than the whole grain on the right which was very soft. Butter was extremely creamy and smooth. Tuna carpaccio was the first app, chives and lemon vinaigrette were the main flavors here. It was well balanced and had a nice "tang" to it afterwards The crispy artichoke was next, it was good, but a little oily. The thin outer portion were very crispy which I liked, but overall did not have much artichoke flavor until the middle portion of the dish. There are three different steak frites and choose wisely. I got the cheapest option because I had a free $100 credit on one of my credit cards I needed to use and wanted as many dishes as possible. The cheapest option is the flat iron steak at $42. The other options are filet and NY Strip. The cheapest option, flat iron, was the chewiest, gristliest, piece of beef I have ever eaten. I think I had a visible gag reaction on one the pieces because of how chewy, full of tendon and muscle it was. I want to be clear, I expected this being a flat iron cut to not be the best. I have heard RAVE reviews about the filet steak frites. The steak itself had good flavor but I just couldn't eat it because it quite literally felt like I took a bite out of a live cow. (Again not faulting the place for this, it's a lower quality cut and I should have known.) The fries were fantastic and I could've eaten a pound of them! The creme brulee was amazing and I wish I could have it every night for desert. Overall give this place a try! I have heard great things about many of their other dishes as well. The design and layout of the space is very trendy and sophisticated. Food fell a little flat for me. We stopped into Pastis on November 3, 2025 during our trip to Nashville. We were happy to try another spot from the Stephen Starr group spot since we're big fans of their restaurants in Philly. The vibe and ambiance were fantastic: lively, energetic, and full of the French bistro vibe. Our server was excellent: knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful with recommendations and details about the menu. I decided to keep it simple with appetizers: tuna carpaccio, pâté Campgane, and escargot. Each dish was presented well and with delicious flavor. For dessert, we shared the dark chocolate mousse, which was light, rich, and the perfect way to end the meal. Pastis is on our must-visit list when we're back in Nashville. We celebrated our anniversary at the new Pastis in town and were immediately charmed by the ambiance. It truly felt like being back in Paris... lively, and beautifully styled. Having heard so much about the New York location, we were excited to try it here, and there's a lot of promise in what they're building. The food had some standout moments. The lobster risotto had a generous amount of lobster and was delicious, just a touch more salt would have made it perfect. The beef bourguignon was hearty and comforting, with silky mashed potatoes and an incredible sauce--though next time I might try the filet mignon. Cocktails were excellent, especially the espresso martinis, while the Aperol spritz was just okay. There are still some early growing pains. The mussels and fries were tasty but arrived cold. The French onion soup had great flavor but came to the table already spilled over. Bread and butter didn't arrive until we asked twice, and when it did, it was spongey and served without butter, which was disappointing since it would've paired nicely with the soup and mussels. All in all, Pastis has great atmosphere, strong dishes, and real potential. I'm looking forward to coming back once they've settled in. For now, I'd give it 4 stars, with hopes it becomes a 5. read more

I paid $12 for 3 hours at the lot at Martin and Houston. A friend and I met for Saturday brunch and the restaurant wasn't busy at opening. By the time we left it was filling up. I'm sure a reservation is a must at busy times. I loved the vibe of the restaurant. It has a clean feel with white and black tile. They have a mix of tables and booths. Think, a lively city spot. Our server was Connor and he made the experience great. He was friendly and professional. He checked on us frequently enough that we never had to look for him, but he did so without interrupting our conversation. Definitely above average service from what I usually experience in Nashville! I started with a Cappuccino which was smooth and delicious. The Scallop Crudo was fresh, tender, and a nice portion for the price. My friend shared some of her Pastry Basket with me. What I tried was perfectly baked. The Bar Steak was a must since I haven't had French food in too long. It was well seasoned and they cooked it perfectly medium rare as I had ordered it. The Frites were crispy and not greasy at all. This was an excellent meal. My friend went with the omelet which looked perfectly prepared. She enjoyed it. The Chocolate Mousse was perfect. I am picky about chocolate mousse because my mom makes the best. The highest compliment I can pay is to say it was almost as good as my mom's chocolate mousse. This was almost as good! I'd recommend this if you want a light, airy chocolate mousse. The chocolate crunch and piece of chocolate on top achieved the texture contrast I love. Pastis, I will be back! We were surprised to not only get a table so easily for 2 on a Saturday evening (6pm), but also to have a spot on the lovely and chicly decorated and breezy patio. They come with fries but we used the table baguette for dipping which i'd recommended. We also tried the artichoke which was a first for me! I really liked it. We had a Caesar, the ricotta ravioli, the filet au poivre, and mashed potatoes. Everything was good but underwhelming. My steak was delicious, tender, well cut, and well cooked (med). This wasn't my favorite au poivre sauce I've ever had. It was fine. For dessert we got a crème brûlée which was wonderful. I did not think our meal was worth the $457 spent. We took our chances as walk-ins and arrived a little before opening -- and thankfully, they were able to squeeze us in. Our server, Emma, was an absolute sweetheart -- charming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. To start, we ordered a glass of red wine and an espresso martini. My husband actually preferred my martini because it wasn't overly sweet (a win in my book!). He also really enjoyed his red blend. For appetizers, we shared: * Escargot - classic and satisfying, on par with what you'd expect from a good French restaurant. * Foie Gras - rich and indulgent, paired perfectly with their house bread. * Scallop Crudo - my husband's favorite; the citrusy sauce really brightened the flavor of the fresh scallops. For mains, he went with the duck confit (crispy, tender, flavorful) and I had the Bouillabaisse (a hearty seafood stew and the reason I wanted to stop in on a Friday!). Overall pleasantly surprised by this new location. We have been to the NY location many times and always enjoy it. I had set expectations that this one wouldn't quite be on par with that one but they've done a very good job so far with the restaurant. I will say, be prepared for an unbelievably frustrating parking situation here. Pastis doesn't really provide any clarity on where is "ok" to park when you ask. Since Weho is literally a nonstop construction zone with all the building, there are barely any parking options. Make sure you read signs in some of the lots around, very vague on specifics. We usually have to park a few blocks away. Also, be wary if you have a nice car- using the SoHo house valet..I've seen some questionable practices when they take customers cars. Now, back to the restaurant impressions.. We have been multiple times at this point for both brunch and lunch. Food is executed well most every time and is delicious. The scallop crudo is a must if you like scallops, fresh and lovely with the passionfruit sauce. The steak sandwich is my husbands favorite thing on the menu at lunch by far. Croque madam is insanely tasty. Lobster risotto on the rotating specials menu is also well done. Service is a bit hit or miss here. Really depends on who your server is. Some are a lot better than others. Hopefully they streamline the wait staff as they are open for longer. Overall, ambiance is great (and right in line with other locations). Pastis has been on my "to try" list since it was announced they were coming to Nashville. Getting a reservation is difficult but so worth it. The interior is an exact replica of a French cafe with the ambience to match. The hosts were so kind and our waiter offered great recommendations. I had the steak frites and onion soup with a could glasses of Brut. The food is on another level. For a bar steak with butter, it's one of the better steaks I've had in the city, and that's just their entry level option. The onion soup was hot, the cheese was gooey and the Brut was bubbly. The food was delicious and the vibe is immaculate. The price is hefty so I'm still on the fence if it's worth the price point, but I'm leaning towards yes. What a beautiful restaurant. It was exactly what I was expecting as far as decor and ambiance. The host staff was friendly and welcoming. I sat at the bar and was greeted promptly and the bar staff was very friendly. I ordered the escargot and it was delicious and came with a generous amount of bread which is not always the case and was appreciated. I also ordered the Bar Steak as my entree. It was ok. Maybe it was my fault ordering it medium rare but it was tough and sinewy. I couldn't eat much of it and no one asked what was up? I was told it was a hanger steak but I'm not sure. The fries were good as well but hand cut would have been more in line with the reputation of Pastis. The desserts were what you would expect but i passed. I've had and enjoyed hanger steaks before but this was chewy and tough. I ordered a medium steak. I mean I could BARELY chew it. The pomme purée 10/10. The sticky toffee pudding delish. But wait.... Who ever took the Cioppino off the menu should be arrested !!! Oh my gosh! It was the best thing on the menu. The service was good.
