We stopped at Henrie's on the way out of town after a great trip to Zion and Bryce Canyon NPs. It was busy.. but for good reason. Two women were taking orders outside and both were very friendly. The burgers were really tasty-- I highly recommend. Fries were solid too. The shakes were pretty standard... more like soft serve than a traditional shake, but I was happy to have one to compliment my meal. Yes... there is some wait time, but worth it. Plenty of outdoor picnic tables and such to eat outdoors. And bathrooms accessible from the outdoors... also handy on a road trip. read more

This is terrible! You can't even lie about this! I mean come on it's almost like they don't even care. I get it, they're busy but still... if it were you, you wouldn't be happy. Please refer to the picture. All burgers were extremely thin and there was could almost compare to the size of the sauce cup. Don't waste your money here! It's not worth the wait to get this quality of food. I we and received the money back and a inexperienced young lady came out with attitude and was trying to argue. 1. She asked what the problem was, 2. I didn't even get upset at her or anything. Sorry but there are far better places to stop at Panguitch. I recommend BIG FISH! My woman and I got stranded here on our road trip back in 2018 after trying to get to Bryce Canyon, and we had to stay for a week while our van got fixed. What to do in Panguitch Utah?! Henrie's was walking distance from a cute little motel we stayed at for the week, and it was amazing. Henrie's is like In N Out's 6'3, 8 pack abs, PhD carrying brother. So good and the people were so nice. Panguitch was definitely not where we wanted to end up, but so happy we did! Great hospitality all around! read more

Anyone who didn't give this place 5 stars must be from a competitor. Best shake ever! Amazing burgers. They are the classic example of what is perfection on a bun. Perfect bun, perfectly cooked meat with a little crunchy outside edges and pink center. We will be driving out of our way to go back here. We stumbled on the place and we are so glad. Fast food in a small town. Decor is diner style. Limited seating. Orders are made fresh. Mainly hamburbers, corn dog, chicken fingers, fries, tacos, burritos, enchiladas, shakes, etc. Guess their known for their chubby cheese burgers, I ordered it was good but not wow. Only 1.60 extra for a thick shake instead of a soda with your meal. Their special suace is ketchup, mayo, mustard, & horse raddish. Great prices! read more

Was there with my family a week ago and ordered burgers , fries , fresh limes and chocolate malt . Everything was delicious. We came back the next day and ordered again since we were staying in Panguitch for two days on our way to Bryce Canyon . We will stop again when we roll through there . Hopefully soon read more

We were really sad we came too late to get some milkshakes because we saw some reviews and raves about them.. Came here after a softball game. We were the only customers there the older gal was super helpful and my "Chubby with cheese was very tasty and juicy my wife also ordered the chubby. I had a order of English chips which were made perfectly and my wife had a order of fries also made perfectly the older lady brought our food to us and was very very polite. Henrie's use to be a place I would plan to stop and eat at on our long drives. Went there last week and was shocked how bad the food was. The burger patties are definitely different, they don't hold up, they just crumble to pieces. We got a smothered burrito, the meat was so over seasoned I literally could not even force myself to swallow the bite I took. I couldn't stop gagging. It was awful. Not to mention they completely forgot the burrito so we had to go all the way back for it and it was disgusting. The shakes we got were the best part of the meal. Definitely won't be going out of our way to return. The galaxy in Hatch is about the same price and 100 times better. read more

Talk about your Diamond in the rough, this place is a GEM!!! my daughters and I wanted a quick ice cream cone. We pulled in to a drive thru line around the whole building. Servers came out to the cars in line and electronically took orders. It was fast and fun. The best part were the shakes. We ordered mint and cookie shakes and a strawberry shake. They were super creamy and full of rich flavor. We loved em'. Right up there with the best we ever had. Then we parked on site and finished em' at a picnic table under a big tree on site. Fantastic Daddy daughter experience! We'll come back for the food another time. I expect it'll be good ol' school drive in burgers and fries. My trip was a disaster. Ordered a burger/fries/shake with 3 friends. 15 minutes later everyone gets their stuff but me. 10 minutes later, still no food, WTF. STRIKE 1! Go ask what is going on, "oh sorry, just a minute". They give me my food. Shake is excellent. Burger is cold. Fries have fry sauce spilled all over them. I never ordered fry sauce, don't like fry sauce. Ask for another order of fries. STRIKE 2! 15 minutes later still no fries. Go back to ask WTF, getting angry now due to their incompetence. "Oh I'm sorry, 1 minute". Girl comes back with another order of fries. This time they are ice cold. WTF. STRIKE 3! Please give me an order of warm french fries. "I'll be right back!". 5 minutes later girl comes out with a fresh batch of french fries, overcooked and burnt. STRIKE 4. At this point it wasn't worth my time to try to once again ask for what I paid for, to wind up waiting another 10-15 minutes to have them screw up a simple order. Seriously disappointed. Believe me, I have watched Guy Fieri drive around in his dumb cars and go to tiny hole in the wall places in the middle-of-nowhere and find really, really good food. So don't tell me it's impossible to make really good burgers and fries in Nowhere Town, USA. As for Henrie's it filled a dinner void my husband and I had on our first night in Panguitch, UT. The place is small, only a few tables inside, you order at the counter and your meal is brought out to you. The servers, at the time we were there, seemed bored and ready to go home, maybe? But teenagers they were, with vacant looks on their faces saying, "I'd rather be taking a selfie or being on fleek" or some other ridiculous things teenagers say/do these days. I got the chicken strips, that came with fries. Both previously frozen and fried to semi-decent quality. My husband got the "CHUBBY" burger, which is apparently what they are known for. The chubby has two patties, shredded lettuce, a bunch of tiny diced onions, tomato (maybe? don't remember now), and thousand island dressing. I did not try it. So I cannot comment on what is or is not the CHUBBY. I was pleased to see they had fry-sauce. Oh the joy at ketchup and mayo mixed together and squirted out of a plastic bottle! Husband and I went all out and got shakes as well. I went with the simple chocolate. It was OK. My husband got the chocolate chip cookie dough shake. They do have a variety of shakes. I would get another shake if I were in Panguitch ever again, but I'd skip the food here. read more

There are not too many dining options in Panguitch UT. There are a few coffee shops, a steakhouse, an Arby's, and Henries. Henries is our go to place! It is a little burger stand, with very limited indoor seating, at hard Formica benches. 3 four top tables, and only 4 two top tables are inside. If the weather is nice, they do have several picnic benches outside behind the burger shack. Their regular cheeseburger is a bit on the small size. They are better known for their Chubby burgers. The burger is well seasoned, and comes with a thousand island type of sauce, lettuce, pickles and tomato. Very basic, but very good. French fries were nicely cooked, crisp and seasoned. Their onion rings are battered, not cornmeal or panko crusted. Henries is also known for their wonderful shakes, malts, floats and cones. My daughter had to get an Oreo Shake just for quality control purposes. This is a shake you can not drink through an straw. No way, no how! For lunch, Henries is the only name in the game! read more

Henrie's is a traditional mom-and-pop fast food joint on Main Street in Panguitch that's been around for at least forty years. It's greasy, salty, fried, and really pretty good as these things go. Their big burger is called "the Chubby," and they've got signs and t-shirts that say things like "Have you had a Chubby today?" And "I can't go to Panguitch without getting a Chubby." Clever, nasty little plays on words. With a cabin in the area, we usually stop in at Henrie's twice a summer. My wife gets their tacos, I get the chicken basket (two large breaded strips and fries), my boys get a burger or dinosaur (chicken) nuggets. If you're looking for quick and cheap, this is it. The one caveat is that they don't have much seating--maybe three 4-seat and five 2-seat tables. There is an outdoor picnic and seating area that's clean and quiet; if you've got a group bigger than four, that may be your best bet. read more

We stopped here (are still here) on a drive from Bryce to St George. My rule for a place like this is to order the basics, avoiding things that were probably added to please newer tastes, like chicken and the Mexican options. We ordered three burgers and a few shakes. We were really pleased with the obviously hand-formed patties, cooked fresh. The people are nice and the prices very reasonable. We sat outside on the picnic tables and enjoyed shade and a nice breeze. The staff brought us our food after a short wait. A great choice on the drive. read more

Great place to stop and grab a quick bite before heading out to the 15 (from Bryce Canyon National Park). The milk shake I had (chocolate) was phenomenal. The grilled cheese (on the children's menu) was average (but at $2, you can't beat the price). The onion rings were better than most fast food places. Henrie's has been so inconsistent and flat out rude. Their online hours say 9 but this isn't the case and they will change the hours sporadically. This is especially inconvenient because Panguitch is a far drive from any surrounding cities. We showed up well before hours to find they had randomly closed 3 hours early. Today we showed up at 4 and found a "closing at 6 sign". We walked up and as soon as someone saw us, they scratched out the "closing at 6" and changed it to "closing at 4" as we were standing there and locked us out right in front of our faces. Their food definitely isn't worth the drive, especially when you're not even guaranteed them being open. Not sure how a business can run with this sort of practice. Very very rude. read more
