I drove to the small strip mall and walked into the mom-and-pop-owned donut shop. I was immediately greeted by a smiling male employee, whom I would find out was named Jeff, behind the counter. Jeff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and a genuinely happy man--the kind of person who radiates positive vibes that easily rub off on customers. The shop was stocked with donuts, beverages, and other items. The menu boards displayed a variety of sandwiches and other food items. Each item in the picture looked delicious. I ordered a plain croissant and a cinnamon donut (my favorite), plus a strawberry & banana smoothie for my daughter. I continued the small talk with Jeff as he bagged my donuts. I explained to Jeff that I was coming from a Yelp-sponsored lunch in the city of Alhambra, which seemed to amuse Jeff. I shared that I would write a review of my experience in his donut shop and mention what a friendly and happy man he was during my short visit. This brought a smile to Jeff's face and even caused him to blush :) I left the location and as I was driving home, I decided to try my croissant and cinnamon donut. I can HONESTLY say that both the croissant and donut were absolutely delicious. Truly one of the best of each item I have ever had in my life. The croissant was soft, flaky, and very tasty.
