So with a recent move to Loveland, we ventured out on a Monday evening to run some errands and look for a casual place to grab a bite and a beer. Well, we found Henry's and couldn't be happier with our choice !! Place was packed, slid us in with out a reservation, and it just kept getting better from there. Lex was our server and was super personable, welcomed us with open arms, and gave us the real deal on house specialities. The Pierogi app was fantastic, and the Beer Battered Cod was spot on, paired with a side salad was a strong way to enter the HenryZone !! We'll be back as the menu was an eclectic mix of comfort food paired with new twists and was definitely one to be sampled further !! read more

Walked in early Friday afternoon & sat down. No waiting. Happy buzz in the air. Noisy, but not to excess. Tried a cocktail. Nicely put together. Smooth. Abit pricey. Meal went well. But then came the bill & recovery. We paid in cash to help move things along. Waitress returned with change and announced bill was "rounded up" for us . A minor math error, as well, but just felt odd to not have the chance to agree/decide this part of the transaction. We've had plenty of trips to Loveland to support the folks & the city. Horrible luncheon food with friends after looking forward to a great day. Steak sandwich was dry like jerky in the westerns. Could barely cut it with a knife & I'm country living tough. French onion soup was also horrible. Burnt on the top flavorless and no body. I regret not telling the waitress but didn't want to make a scene with friends or nearby guest. Now feel compelled to give my opinion. Chef Ramsey would call it terrible for a first rate restaurant. Friends dishes were fine. This place was exceptional! Great atmosphere, great food. We walked in on a very busy night and time, were told the wait would be 30 minutes, waited maybe 5 and our table was ready. We ordered the fish and chips, and the buffalo chicken salad. For desert we had the crème brûlée and the brownie sundae. All was great tasting! We plan to come back to try other entrees. Would highly recommend. Update: came for dinner last weekend and tried a few new things. Could not rave about Henry's more. They offer such delicious food and drinks! We tried the stroganoff and the schnitzel. I am obsessed with both! So much flavor In both. I absolutely loved the schnitzel because it was perfectly crispy and cooked. What the HELL happened?? Friend and I went in June of 2021. Took me this long to write this review since we were both so pissed. We usually order the schnitzel. O. M. G. what the hell happened?? The potatoes were actually from a box (I'm a really good cook, but anyone with basic knowledge - of food - would have known). What, you guys couldn't run to the store to buy some potatoes? How hard would that have been? And why would you have potato flakes in your kitchen anyway? The sauce was so off also. Not like it was rancid, but like I said, we usually get the schnitzel so I know when it's not even close to normal. It was bland. Guess we will get our schnitzel from Coppersmiths exclusively now. Still so pissed about those damn potatoes. Grrrr. read more

What a great place! We made reservations and were texted ahead of the reservation when our table for 8 was ready. Our table was roomy and easy for everyone to eat and enjoy the evening. (I hate small, cramped tables) atmosphere is great, local paintings and the furnishings are interesting. Menu offered so many choices for everyone! Bangers & Mash, Fish & chips, beef stroganoff, shrimp, grilled cod, and pork chops were ordered and eaten heartedly. We celebrated a birthday with desserts too. Our server was attentive and kept glasses from being empty. Food was brought out all together and was delivered hot and delicious. Tried out Henry's for the first time today. What a find! Had their Turkey club sandwich with sweet potato fries. My wife had the Reuben . Everything was made perfectly. Best sweet potato fries I have ever had! The service was great and the staff very personable. Today was our first time there-it won't be our last! read more

I always come here for the steak medallions but after moving back from Seattle I've realized they've changed! They used to be smaller and there were more and you could get them with rice and mushrooms. They're not bad but they're not as great, and unfortunately ordering the medium they were entirely rare inside. The s fries are very good and the sauce that comes with it is like a pesto mayo and it tastes fantastic! I would say go for their chicken sandwiches instead. read more

A great pub in the heart of downtown. First a recommendation, on the weekend ensure you either have a reservation, call ahead, or not have a problem waiting. We waited an hour but it was worth it. When first showed up ~6pm it was full, wait was 45-1 hour, ours was about an hour. Hostess was nice and when we were seated were near the front door so could hear that they stayed busy. We started with cheese curds which came with a tomato dipping sauce which was a nice addition to the curds. The breading was light and they weren't oily like you run into at some places. Two of us had root beer to drink (can't remember the brand but in a bottle and sweetened with sugar. I opted for the bangers and mash. The sausages were different but very good. One was wild boar and the other was elk, so be warned in case you aren't into game but it wasn't gamey in the taste and the gravy it comes with is a nice brown gravy. The mash is not standard mashed potatoes but a croquette. My daughter had the chicken fried chicken with side of garlic mashed potatoes and fries. Came with 4 pieces of chicken, a nice crispy breading covered in a tasty white gravy, they offer extra gravy which we regret not ordering as it's that good . The potatoes are pub style which to me means a bit thicker and minimally mixed but leaves great flavor to not have the added liquid that can bland them out if not properly seasoned. Even the fries (potato wedges) were good, especially dipped in the gravy. Definitely a huge portion that could be shared by two. My wife had the Gorgonzola carbonara. Highly recommend this dish if in the mood for pasta, another one that could be shared (or take half home for lunch tomorrow). The pasta was properly cooked where not too firm or too soft, flavors between the ingredients was well balanced (nothing over powered anything else). The Gorgonzola made the sauce creamy and was not a forceful flavor in the dish. For dessert we had the brownie sundae and bourbon pecan pie. We recommend both and both were quite sharable due to the large portions. The brownie sundae had brownies that were fudgy with a crispy bottom and paired well with the vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. The pecan pie with ice cream and it was perfect. The crust flavorful and flaky and the following was creamy and full of pecans. Definitely save room for dessert. The service was very good, our waitress was attentive and all of the staff that checked on us was courteous and friendly. Overall a great place for a night out. read more

Yum! We came here for Father's Day for a late lunch with a reservation and I am glad we had one - they were still super busy even during a not so normal meal time. That didn't decrease the service we got by any means! Our server was incredible, very on top of it and accommodating. We got the mussels, fish and chips, spf burger, and medallions - all were eaten up to every last bite. Food came out in good time and same with our drinks. We were seated quickly. Hubby ordered a Guiness, which was good but was not served in an offical glass. We ordered the fried pickles. When they arrived they were burnt so we sent them back. Our French Onion soup arrived before ther second order of pickles. The soup was very good. The pickles finally arrived & still looked burnt. We ate them but they did taste burnt. The batter on the pickles tasted like bread crumbs. They would have treated better in a beer batter instead of bread crumbs. Overall, the food was ok but we didn't order anymore because what we had was just ok & we didn't want to waste any more money on this place. We selected this place based on menu & Yelp reviews. Very disappointing. We came here to pick up fresh sour cherries & knew we'd want to eat while in town. We won't come back here when we come for cherries again. read more

The food here was very good and so was the service! We started with the cheese curds which were great. Very lightly fried, not greasy at all. I had the fish and chips and I was worried it would be small based on the pics. However it was not, it's a very large portion, I couldn't finish it. Fried super crispy, flaky inside and not greasy. My girlfriend also had one of their sandwiches which she said was also great! Overall great experience and wish we were here longer to try out more things! read more

I wish Yelp offered a 5+ review because this place deserves it. When my wife and I read the menu, we said to each other "this is like a Food Network description of each dish". Then we said, "these descriptions are too good to be true". Well....they're not. We started off with some fantastic cocktails - I had the Jalapeño vodka Bloody Mary and she had a killer Lemon Drop. Great start for the meal. Service by Dani was 5++. Super helpful in navigating the menu and attentive without being too attentive...simply perfect service. So, I went a little off road and ordered the mussels as an appetizer - sounded great but usually every 5th mussel has some funk. Not this dish. The size of this appetizer was enormous! Maybe 16-20? Enough for 4! And every mussel was perfect! I paired it with a local red ale - yet another hit! My wife had the chicken tenders - okay, you think pretty mundane and easy to make mundane - but not this dish. The chicken tenders were huge but super tender, lightly breaded and very flavorful. Again, another hit. Then we went into the entree round where I had the beef sliders and my wife had the steak medallions. For my dish, the sliders were great but the hit of the plate, believe it or not, were the tater tots....yes, the tater tots. If nothing else, order the tater tots!!!! I've never had something so well put together as these tots. Seriously, an 11 out of 10. My wife's medallions were great - if there was any criticism, they're a little sweet and a good dose of salt evened everything out. I'm not sure we've had such a perfect meal and dining experience in a long time. Do not miss this opportunity!!!! read more
