Love this place! First of all... they are well versed in all things celiac and gluten! They have a very expansive gluten free menu with tons of options! I also have to say the gluten free "rice" bun was super tasty!! I filled it with a delicious angus beef burger and smothered it with cottage cheese. The atmosphere is very pub like, but the food is far more elevated that you expect in a pub type of restaurant. First let me apologize for not having pictures of the food... the problem is I'm too busy stuffing my face to take a picture. Let's say we've never had a bad meal (and we've eaten here a lot), and the one time I can remember something came out prepared wrong, they quickly made it right. On average we go to Henry's 2 - 5 times a month, and because we avoid carbs we tend to order about the same things (the specials regularly look good, but general are too carb loaded) - I get the Strip steak and my wife gets the "chalkboard fish" and we get an appetizer of the brussel sprouts. We do occasionally mix it up, have had burgers, and other dishes. They are alway good. Pro-tips: 1) If you order steak, order 1 shade under what you want, they do tend to slightly over cook the steaks (they are not a steakhouse). I always order rare, and basically get rare-medium to medium rare. 2) Use the "call ahead" app to get in line on weekends, they tend to get busy. 3) The bar is the place to be (I really should shut my mouth here as I'm giving away the best unkept secret). Go a head and do the waitlist, but if you can find a place at the bar or one of the tables just go there and eat. Food comes out about the same, but you will get drinks faster :) read more

I reviewed this pub several years ago, but wanted to update my review based on our latest visit. Henry's Pub has been a favorite spot of ours for many years, but this is the first time we've gone for Sunday's "Walleye Fry". It was the best fish and chips we've ever had, and the lemon drop martini never disappoints. The service was great, and the atmosphere was relaxed. This has to be one of the best restaurants in Loveland. Our group had the pierogis for appetizers, Beef Stroganoff, Chicken Carbonara and the Fish and Chips. Strawberry mojitos to wash it all down. Sometimes there's nothing more comforting than a good sandwich and sharing some fries-and Henry's is the place to be for that! We arrived early on a Monday evening and it had several people dining and watching sports, but was not overly packed. They have a children's menu with several offerings at reasonable prices, and a gluten free menu as well. My husband ordered the burger, which he enjoyed much better than some our other burger experiences in NOCO-also some great craft beers on the menu were had. I ordered the turkey club on gluten free with sweet potato fries. This is my comfort food and it did not disappoint, house roasted turkey, thick cut bacon, avocado aioli on a perfectly warmed GF bun. The sweet potato fries were delicious too, but if you have celiac, know that it's not a dedicated fryer. My son ordered the fish and chips, and I've never seen him clear his plate the way he did here! The service was friendly and prompt, definitely a place we'd be happy to return to again. read more

What a gem! After spending a couple of days in Wyoming and South Dakota, we were very glad to get back to Colorado and discover Henry's. Virtually no safety and health protocols were found during our quick trip our west in South Dakota and Wyoming as it pertained to Covid 19. We struggled to find any place to eat that we could feel safe. Thankfully this all changed when we worked our way down to Henry's. The staff was friendly and everyone worker there practiced safe procedures. It was spic and span clean and the food was amazing that come with a great price. Our Server was fantastic. We commented to her about how nice it was to feel safe when eating at a restaurant again. She explained how the owner had improved the ventilation system and took extreme measures to help fight the pandemic. We are so glad we discovered Henry's. This is a very specialized review. The chefs are top notch and the food is regularly perfect. With all due respect... Pease consider the following - (all suggestions have a negative review to justify them and are based on first hand experience.) Watch the French onion soup, often short on onions, salty and scorched. Steak sandwich seems difficult to eat and is often considered dry. Tikka masala sauce is on the bland side, consider more curry. Watch the stale fries and overcooked fish and chips. Brussels need to be golden brown otherwise are a chore to eat. Be vigilant with the freshness of salmon Sammies. Sauce for medallions is overpowering, consider a demi/cut down vinegar. Watch dried up Reubens and build sandwiches evenly. Brownies need to be thicker and less dry. Squid is often cut too thick or thin and must be crispier rather than soggier. Cheese curds must be cut large and not plated with fryer debris nor blown out. Consider replacing mediocre raviolis. Again, the food is on point. These are just some hurdles that seem to present themselves on a regular basis and this is meant to be a truly constructive review. Thanks read more

I debated with myself long and hard about giving Henry's a five-star review but I just can't bring myself to do it on just one visit. In my opinion, to be a five-star restaurant the joint has to deliver first rate food and service consistently over time. But, if we get the chance to come back a time or two and our experience is as good as it was today, I'll definitely raise my rating. Henry's has a very comfortable atmosphere in it's old, downtown building complete with lots of old woodwork and it high ceilings. The food was very good--I had the Angus burger while Mary had the Salmon burger--both were cooked perfectly. Service was quick and attentive although not a real standout. If we ever have the opportunity to spend some serious time around Loveland, this place could definitely become one of our regular haunts. read more

I can't say enough wonderful things about Henry's. Our waitress was super sweet. We enjoyed looking at all the art. Cocktails were perfect. Fried pickles were as good as they get. Went a couple Friday's ago for a date. Really nice atmosphere and we loved the food and drinks. Server was attentive but not bothersome. Only downside was the kitchen apparently messed up our brussel sprouts and they were brought out after our entrees arrived, but we were still charged for them. If you're reading this, you wonder if you should stop in on this little Loveland nook, for fish and chips and a Guinness. Stop, call and get a reservation- hour wait at any given time and it's all worth the wait. Go at 430 and see all of the smarty pants that beat the rush. Hands down the best establishment in Fort Collins/Loveland area. Food is over the top delicious, great beer selection...and they have Guinness. This is an Irish bar, but everything else they have is incredible. Staff is swarming around and you're never waiting for someone to help you. I don't know the owner, but I run a small business and I'd hire he's whole staff. Call ahead, hour wait is expected- sneak back to the bar area and snag a bar top table, we had fish and chips and fried chicken and for the hell of it fried pork rinds as an app. Henry's, nice job! read more
