Calamari is killer, Rueben tasty and huge, Sunday Walleye fry is always great, Caesar salads great( can get as a side or as a meal), with a protein if you desire! I came in with my brother who is physically disabled with MS and a speech impediment and immidiately was refused service because they assumed he was intoxicated. We tried to explain he wasn't intoxicated but they wouldn't even hear it and turned us away... It was extemely disheartening and heartbreaking for not only myself but my brother who was beyond thrilled to get out of the house and socialize after the difficult year we'd just had in 2016 with our mother committing suicide. He was so upset even though we tried to explain the situation to the staff they refused our service. I'd been in to the eatablishment a few times before this instance and the service was fairly poor for (Loveland standards especially because normally service and food is exceptional!) so i'd decided to overlook the (assumed) 'outlier occasions' and continue to cut the place a break despite everything; I always like to believe the best and support local - assuming someone may have had an off day if ever there's a poor experience but this made clear Henry's service is not the case. TL:DR - Food is overpriced and the service is abhor-able. I will - not only - never attempt to come back EVER again but feel that others ought to know what kind of establishment they're supporting. read more

I ordered the veggie burger and my friend ordered the fish and chips and both were divine! As a vegetarian, I was happy to see a lot of options for me... It was hard to choose what to order. We also both got 1 beer each and enjoyed everything we ordered. The server was attentive but it would have been nice to hear the happy hour specials, since that's when we were there. It was also around 60 degrees outside and the AC was turned to an uncomfortable degree. I would stop here again if I was in town because I'd really like to try more of the food! read more

Small, overcooked and totally underwhelming. $13.50 for a burger I could have gotten anywhere else for half as much? Total waste of money. Waitress was asleep at the wheel. First time customer. Went for lunch with my wife, son and 5 year old grandson. Was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming decor since the storefront is so unassuming. The menu had many choices for everyone in our group. I had a burger with lots of trimmings, my wife had the mussels appetizer, my son had medallions of steak and my grandson had chicken fingers. We all enjoyed our choices, the waitress was great, accommodating all our requests in a friendly, upbeat manner. Prices were reasonable. Will be a regular in the future. read more

Stopped in for lunch over a holiday. Lots of people inside told us it was probably good. Ordered a pecan salad wirh chicken, and two orders of shrimp and chips. Pecan salad was excellent. Shrimp cooked perfectly! Chips (fries) were unevenly distributed between the two plates. One of us got a lot, the other not so much. Easy mistake. Service was fantastic. This one is hard for me, I believe it's more of an issue with the staff than the quality of the restaurant. My wife and I have been regulars of Henry's since 2013/14. This has been our "date night" or "special occasion" restaurant for years. Love the food and have always told everyone we know that it's the best restaurant in Loveland....until this Saturday. We had one of the absolute worst experiences. We set in the bar, because the dinning room was full. Our bartender Pepper was frantically running around informing her tables that she was too busy and had too many drinks to make. Every thing she said was a pre loaded excuse. We sat down the same time as two other small two tops. We are pretty easy going as we have both worked extensively in service. Historically we have been fine with the service in the bar. Well the rest of the bar fills up. Hearing her "overwhelmed" speech over and over. . We did get our appetizer. And at first seemed to be flowing. Then we wait. We just ordered sandwiches, w cup of soup. Not that tough of an order. She came over several times and just kept saying "I don't know". Then she would go back to the kitchen and come back saying she has no idea what's happening. That was quite obvious as we are now on an hour wait for sandwiches. At this point we are visibly frustrated and the people around us were apologizing that they got their food before us. We asked to speak to the manager and Pepper acted like it was our fault and tried telling the manager that we were being a problem. The manager came up and we just asked to leave. Clearly a miss on this one. She seemed to understand and nodded we were ok to leave. Then Pepper started to get loud and yell at us as we were leaving that we owed her for the Brussel Sprouts. We kind of felt that that might be taken care of under the circumstances. (If not, I will absolutely come in and pay for the app). We just wanted to leave and really didn't have an appetite after the situation. Pepper still proceeded to yell down the hallway that we have to pay for the app. Then got into a yelling match with my wife. We were told to never come back. So are banned from Henry's because she's a bad bartender? All in all, she was oblivious that mistakes were made, proceeded to blame any issues on us. Just an awful experience, and I'm not sure if I'm even welcome to come back. Definitely don't feel welcome in the bar. 10 years of one of my favorite restaurants down the drain. read more

Came to town from Los Angeles for a softball tournament. Had tried a number of places while here. Henry's was fantastic. Brussels, Medallions, Schnitzel and Stroganoff were a few of the items we tried. Everything was delicious and service was great! Worth the wait. I LOVE Henry's. My husband and I go there way more than I'd like to admit. The martinis are strong and tasty, the beer selection is great and the food is always on point. I also love how diverse the menu is. I can go there no matter what I'm craving and know there's something on the menu that will hit the spot. My favorite is the strawberry goat cheese salad. The goat cheese balls coated in crushed candies pistachios are so yummy and the strawberry basil dressing really compliments all the flavors in the salad. 1st time diners to Henry's pub today and yea, it was good. I had the special which was a beef stroganoff burger and tater tots, and my girlfriend had the fish and chips. Both were quite good. The burger had a great char served on a nice warm and soft ciabatta. I asked for a medium rare cook but was told because it was only a six oz. burger they had to cook it medium...HUH? It was a little over on the outside edges but decent on the inside, great flavors. The tots, nicely cooked, but man oh man, hold back on the salt...WAY TOO SALTY Chefs! The fish was fabulous. Nicely cooked, huge portions, and not greasy...the fries though...meh...floppy fries just don't cut it. The staff was friendly and attentive. We will be back Henrys Pub! read more

Downtown Loveland is booming with new stores, breweries and restaurants, but for us it has become our new destination for drinking. Henry's pub advertises, on their website, that they have the largest selection of alcohol in the area and that's all we needed to see to give them a chance. Atmosphere: Located in historical down-town Loveland, Henry's pub is a small but inviting brick building. Inside, the dark, cherry-stained wood walls and warm colors gives it a very comfortable, yet masculine appearance. There is a variety of dark wooden tables throughout as well as booths along the outer walls. Service: Upon walking in we were greeted by two hostesses who quickly sat us at a table. Our server was prompt and polite with a good knowledge of the beers on tap. We eventually made our way to the bar, where service was friendly and prompt as well. Drinks: Henry's touts having one of the best selections of top shelf liquors around- and they are correct. While they may have not had all of our favorites, we certainly couldn't deny that they have a great selection. Now if 18 year old scotch isn't your thing, then maybe one of the several local craft beers (that they keep on a constant rotation) will wet your whistle. Food: The menu consisted of good old American food with many seafood selections. We ordered the Sourdough Burger ($11.99) and the French Dip ($8.99) and both were fresh and tasty. WOW. Whoever owns this place knows how to run a restaurant AND hire great staff! I ate here three times in three days, two lunches and a dinner. All were terrific, punctuated with excellent service. The salads are EXCELLENT, as is the gluten free menu (YAY!) My only sadness was that their only cider is Strongbow, which I find a little weak and sweet. But, seriously, that's hardly worth mentioning. On Friday evening I ordered a take-out meal and sat at the bar while it was being prepared. I've seen a LOT of bartenders and wait staffs, this one was like a well oiled machine! The blonde bartender really knew her stuff, was able to juggle MANY things concurrently, and is a prize. GIVE THAT GIRL A RAISE! The waitresses were so professional, but also very friendly. Really stellar. It's obvious the management of this place is very good. Make certain you try the sweet potato fries - they're wonderful! And the Thai Salad! And the Spinach Salad! And the Sourdough Burger (with GF bread) I could go on and on. YUM! read more
