2020 Pandemic Era Review We got a battery quote from AAA because we had recharged our battery twice ourselves and the car still wouldn't start. There was a pandemic going on so I wanted to figure out the safest (aka least exposure) route for my parents. The quote was reasonable, and AAA was able to send us someone in about an hour. Watertown Towing & Auto Repair checked the car out in our garage and confirmed it was the battery and not the alternator. Since it was 5.5 years old, that seemed rather reasonable. They changed our battery, tested it out, and hauled the old one away. We paid in cash, and the car is still running fine. Update: The car has required recharging several times since this 2020 AAA visit. Not sure why. If it is the battery, or the alternator. Dad suspects the alternator. We'll have to take the car in for a check up sometime... Leaving 4 stars for the service and convenience for now with the understanding that once this is posted, I will lose the ability to edit after a month. read more

Watertown towing was fantastic! We had to move two vehicles in a rush, as we had a plan to bring the vehicles to a family home, and that plan fell through. We needed to bring the vehicles to a storage facility in a rush. Watertown towing was prompt and the drivers were kind. The drivers treated our older cars with respect even though the cars are a bit beat up. The owner, George, adjusted our bill, to an incredibly reasonable rate after the tow, because both cars came from and went to the same location (and he realized the same truck could have been used for both cars). George's honesty and kindness, along with the great service of the drivers, made a very stressful moment a painless experience. The driver has a dismissive attitude as I told him I wanted my car towed to the dealer because the ignition immobilized the car and I needed a chip reset. He rolls the car out of the parking spot and into the travel area of the parking lot. He pops the hood to jump start it and I ask what he is doing. More attitude and he walks away will I am asking why he is popping the hood. I could have a new battery and the car still isn't going to start. The dealer is waiting for my car. The guy starts arguing like he is supposed to try and start the car first which is bullshit. He is an ass and leaves my car in the middle of the lot. The dealer closes and my car and I are stranded until Monday. POS. That's what Eric is and Watertown Towing. I will always make sure peeps avoid this racket. read more

Extremely bad service!!! Don't even bother working with them. They claim that you're the one that's giving them a hard time when all we need is to tow a car. Do you want to even make money? You're pushing customers away than even making customers. Anyways there's so much car towing places so there's no need to even bother with them even if they are the closets to your location. My 2010 Chevy Malibu stopped performing on Saturday, October 9, 2021. Had it towed with a different company to my mechanic friend who diagnosed that the transmission needed to be fixed. Called Belmont Watertown Transmission, he gave me the number to Watertown Towing and I spoke with George. He was very helpful and made it hassle free. George said that I didn't have to go to the place that had the car, just to make sure to settle up any bill that I owe, and they will get it to Joey. Thank you, George, for making it hassle free and trusting someone that you only met by phone. I will be sure to stop in person to shake your hand when Joey has the car fixed up. You helped me get out of a bind. I didn't want to go through the same situation that I did on Saturday, which was calling around 20 different local tow companies who couldn't give you a straight answer as to when they could tow. I'm new to Mass currently living in Belmont and I wont take my car any where else, the team of mechanics are some of the nicest most honest people I've had the pleasure of working with. They are extremely dependable and helpful, not to mention fast. The other day I had to get my car towed and they gave me an estimate of about an hour and they were their within minutes and were able to start my car after we tried everything. I drive a very old car that often has to get repairs so I use their services quite frequently and have never been dissapointed or felt like I was being taken for a ride or charged extra fee's! Never thought I'd write a (good) review for a tow company... but they came out when I called AAA about a flat tire. The guy who changed my tire was very polite, quick, and thorough. He checked the tire for leak sites so I could know what needed to be done/where to take it to be fixed vs. replaced. A couple months ago I had another flat and the company that came out that day curt and and didn't take the time to look for anything, so it shows that they went above and beyond. Very good towing company. I am an inexperienced driver happened to have a flat tire issue. I called them and they showed up within 30 mins, after checking my tire, they said it was not a big deal but a slow leaking problem and suggested me to pump my tire in the near gas station, which saved me hundred of bucks for towing service. Arranged through AAA, the tow truck driver brought a flatbed (the car lost steering capability), arrived well before the estimated arrival time, and was incredibly friendly, professional, and careful. I've experienced some pretty rough loading/unloading of my car by other tow companies, but he took time to make adjustments as needed. I only wish I'd caught his name to thank him specifically! But these guys (Alex and Steve in particular) helped us out of a huge bind when our cars were both trapped in our driveway due to road construction which left us with a 1 foot deep trench at the end of our driveway (thanks Mass DOT). I can' t THANK the tow truck driver enough from Watertown Towing. I received a flat tire at work. he was there within 40 minutes, changed the flat and noticed my spare required air. What does this guy do, he lets me follow him to the nearest service station and puts air in my spare tire making sure every thing is ok for the ride home.
