Parking: Lots of free parking (located in an open-style outdoor mall). Interior: Clean. Modern. Very instagrammable. Service: Sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive. Food: Only came for drinks but will definitely try the food next time! Drinks: The main attraction! Finally - a legitimate cocktail bar in Garland!!! No need to go to Dallas anymore! Lol I ordered the smoked old fashioned and it was just as I expected it to be - possibly even better than how I make it! Haha My wife loved her drink as well! Overall: Will definitely be coming here on a regular basis!

The restaurant is decorated with a modern, upscale vibe. Steak and eggs were delicious and reasonably priced at $18. The Nashville hot chicken and waffles were okay. The chicken was dry, but think that was probably a one off. Our service was great.

We were super excited to try Herb & Ember, and we visited recently for dinner. Not only was the ambiance beautiful and romantic, the drinks and food were delish. The ahi tuna nachos were fantastic; we could have eaten many, many more. I ordered the butter chicken, which was a nice, lighter option, while my husband ordered the French dip. The beef was lean and the sweet potato fries were super yummy. The service was also stand out, with Chef Kadir warmly welcoming us and our sweet server, Heather, being extremely attentive and equally excited for us to try various menu items as we were! Overall, it's a great place for date night or friends' dinner. We took our very well-behaved 3-year-old and he did well, but he was the only kid there. It's an upscale restaurant to bring kids to, although they do have a cache of high chairs just in case and were very welcoming to our toddler and us. Either way, check this place out! Super vibey with wonderful food and great staff. Herb & Ember has the same fantastic owners/chef as the Ferah concepts, and it's easy to see all the expertise at work here. Very nice!

OMG! This restaurant is amazing!! Olivia our bartender/server is amazing!! She is attentive & has a great personality! She will definitely take care of you. Our drinks were superb!! The restaurant has a great vibe & is super cool. Saturday & Sunday they have a brunch menu. We started with expresso martini & basil hayden on an ice rock. Our food was hot and delicious!! My husband ordered steak & eggs. cooked perfectly & only $18. Rib eye steak, scrambled eggs & potatoes. I had chicken marsala and it was delicious. Chicken with gravy and mushrooms and root veggies. So good, especially the brussel sprouts!! I also had a vesper! Most bars do not have the ingredients! It's top shelf vodka and gin and lillet blanc aperitif wine. From James bond era. She made it to Perfection. so good!! There is street parking available. Bathrooms were super clean! Great restaurant, great location, great food, and great service! We will be back!!

    Tiramisu & Rosemary Old Fashioned

Me and my husband were looking for a late night dinner at 10pm and were excited to see the new Herb & Ember was open. The ambience is immediate, low lit and very stylishly decorated. Feels very cozy yet luxurious at the same time. We sat outside and enjoyed the elegant patio. (I also loved the house music!) As I'm 7 months pregnant, I was pleasantly surprised that all the signature drinks can be made as mocktails. We ordered the New York Sour and a mocktail Smash with the Italian caprese flatbread. The drinks were unique and beautiful. The flatbread was absolutely delicious, as I'm used to Caprese dishes typically being bland. The freshness of the tomatoes with crispy string onions, creamy cheese and the acidity of the balsamic worked beautifully. Also as someone allergic to nuts, the nut-free pesto was awesome. We wrapped it up with the tiramisu and a Rosemary old fashioned. The smokiness of the old fashioned was incredible. The tiramisu was light and absolutely loved the raspberry sauce that came with it. (Our amazing waitress Ngan even got us extra of the sauce, she was so attentive and energetic!) Overall, we greatly enjoyed our experience and can't wait to visit again!

Excellent service, ambience and, most importantly--the food was delicious! We went with a party of 5 and everyone loved it. Can't wait to go back

Such a great experience trying a new spot in Firewheel! The vibe and ambiance were amazing, felt like a trendy Uptown restaurant without the drive. The food was just as impressive!!! The poke nachos were incredible, and for entrees, the butter chicken and almond crusted Chilean sea bass were perfection. Dessert did not disappoint either, the tiramisu and cookie dough cheesecake were both delicious!! Tom made the best cocktails and Terry's service was outstanding! Overall, I'd definitely recommend it for a date night or a girls' night out without having to leave the suburbs!

I came in to check out the new spot without knowing much about it, and wow I was blown away. The best poke I have ever had! The tiramisu was presented so beautifully. Wait staff was funny and attentive. The vibe is a little dark and sultry inside, makes for great photos and vibe. The patio is great. So many unique options on the menu. Great experience!

Ambiance: Parking may pose some difficulty due to the presence of multiple businesses nearby. Upon entering, I was welcomed by the hostess; however, the loud music from the DJ made it challenging to communicate effectively. The entry doors remained open, which raised concerns about potential insects affecting the dining experience. Service: The staff provided a warm welcome, and our server, China, demonstrated excellent hospitality and attentiveness, readily answering all questions. Communication was somewhat impeded by the volume of the music. Additionally, I noticed that silverware and napkins were not offered prior to the meal being served. Food: I ordered wings as an appetizer and needed to request additional napkins, as well as plates suitable for sharing for which I thought this would be a standard process without asking. The margarita was served in a plastic cup rather than glassware, which was unexpected. My pasta entrée was flavorful, and the salmon shrimp Oscar was equally enjoyable. It was concerning that, although my reservation was at 8 p.m., the restaurant had already run out of sautéed cabbage, an item on the menu. I would appreciate advance notification from staff regarding unavailable dishes. Overall, the quality of food and beverages was commendable. Overall: While the restaurant offers excellent cuisine, the loud music significantly limits opportunities for conversation during dinner. I recommend this establishment to those seeking good food, but not to those looking for a quiet dining environment. There are both advantages and challenges associated with this venue, and I hope the team continued success in the future.

In addition to those three ingredients making it in edible when I complained was kind of lucky the hamburger patty had not been contaminated but for no reason they threw away the bottom bun which was Okay,. And replaced it with a new bun which was not prepared as well and didn't have that nice but edge to it. Worse there was almost no onions. Just a bunch of lettuce. And the exact same bacon they had taken off that had been contaminated with ketchup and possibly not mayo. I was able to tell this because there were bits of ketchup on the bun which was brand new as he hadn't fully cleaned the bacon and it brought back the exact same patty which would've been OK if the patty was OK but it wasn't made it through about a third of the burger to 2/3 and after checking just the patio alone, the meat tasted a little bit off or Old meaning he was using good ingredients to hide bad meat with the ketchup pickles and all the other stuff that I had them take off, which is why it had tasted funny had to give up and put it in the cat bowl for the raccoons Christmas dinner outside hopefully the little guy will be able to eat it for the possum as the possums will eat bad meat as for the French fries they were actually very good somewhere between chips and fries but they were hollow which normally isn't bad. It's just up to personal taste. They were kind of the best thing in the whole place because their hollow they're kind of unique very tasty very good but you need a lot of them as far as if you want a substantial order of fries because a lot of what you're getting is air like when you get chips, there's a nice outer shell but nothing but air inside were normal you would find potato. Sadly the bacon was very good very high-quality prepared to perfection except for one spot that was completely raw that I had to snap off due to the risk of trichinosis. I'd always check the bacon in this place otherwise you might actually buy it into a piece of raw bacon Still attached to the perfectly cooked one. I have no idea how they managed to cook it that way sadly it was a hugely disappointing and frustrating experience in the end as even when you gave them a chance to fix it they didn't make the burger over again and they didn't even fix it properly because it felt like no matter how hard you try nobody is gonna listen to you when you order something and if you want them to take anything off don't count on it. It will probably show up anyway and trigger any allergies you may have. Sadly, withl borderline meet some places do a good job with spices and charbroiling but this place had none of that so you could really taste the meat and it did not taste fresh. It just tasted a little off. Very disappointing. The waitresses were attractive the atmosphere of the Physical place was good but the karaoke singers kinda kill the music. It's best to go there on a night and not karaoke. The place seems OK at the bar but as a restaurant, forget it.

Flying Saucer in Garland was the location of my brother's rehearsal dinner. It wasn't the originally planned location since the first venue canceled, but I'm glad we ended up here instead. My girlfriend and I arrived shortly after the party started, looked at their beer list, and were both overwhelmed and impressed by the literally hundreds of options, from draft to canned and bottled selections. They also have a full bar with mixed drinks and wine options, which is great for my grandparents. I drank a La Fin du Monde, which is one of my favorite beers to ever exist, a Guinness, a NA Michelob, and a specialty blackberry cider drink that I was a huge fan of. I wish I remembered what they called it. We had a huge supply of food to choose from, including wings, tenders, quesadillas, and more. But what truly made the night was hanging around Lake Ray Hubbard and enjoying the breeze with our brews. The location truly makes the place what it is. This place is beer heaven. Everyone had a great time at the rehearsal dinner, and Flying Saucer's staff was super attentive the whole night. I was very impressed overall with the experience. A billboard off I-30 reads that they have 200 different craft beers and a lake patio. I can now confirm both of those points. RIYL: Every beer.

There are a variety of games- PacMan, a foosball like hockey game, racing games, pinball, frogger, shooting games, old classics like Fix-it-Felix, DDR, shooting hoops, skee ball and more! It's relatively clean and employees come help is something is glitchy or a ball is stuck in the basketball game, for example. They play music at an appropriate volume (this place is way less deafening than cidercade, and less crowded too!). I've never had food/ alcohol here so can't speak to that. It's definitely a great place to go, especially with a buddy, to get competitive and just unwind a little! My only complaint- the arrows in DDR are not very sensitive and tend to stick a little on their machines. It's very hard to adjust the initial difficulty level because the DOWN arrow on both sides of their machine is so not-receptive to touch you have to jump on it with intense force to move it from basic to more difficult. I'm actually pretty good at DDR and kept getting BOOS from arrows I was hitting. So just don't come here specifically for a DDR marathon and you won't be disappointed. For about $13, you get unlimited free play all day, making it an excellent value. The arcade is a little smaller than some of the other Free Play locations, but it's packed with classic games from the '80s, '90s, and early 2000s, along with a nice selection of pinball machines. There's a full-service bar and food menu. I didn't try the food, but the drinks were reasonably priced. My only complaint is that there aren't many places to set down a drink while playing, so it can feel a bit cramped when it's busy. The arcade is tucked away in an older shopping center, so it's easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. Even with the Father's Day crowd, the staff stayed busy while remaining friendly and the restrooms were clean. Overall, it's a fun and affordable place to spend a few hours, whether you're reliving your childhood or introducing someone else to classic arcade games.
