The deviled eggs were some of the best I have ever had. They had a spice to them that I couldn't quite figure out what it was but man was it good. Best bite of the meal. The deviled apples were okay. I had high hopes but I think I just wished for more apple in the dish. The delmonico ribeye was good and the fat melted in your mouth. Personally could have used a little more seasoning. The sides were a miss for me. Both the fries and asparagus were average at best. I was hopeful to have the sweet potato side but they were unfortunately out when we went. The outside is misleading because it looks rough and at a dingy strip mall, but once you step in your transported to a beautiful blue and white dream with a live harp playing. We've read the fantastic reviews since they opened, and finally dragged outselves over (it's not that far from the Strip, but we usually head to the Arts District instead of this creepy industrial zone) to The Naughty Angel - and were delighted to have done so. Although we were a little terrified at what we might find behind the stripper/gunrange district door, the room was actually lovely. The service was beyond lovely. And the food was so good that I canceled my birthday reservation at James Trees' new steak place and made one for The Naughty Angel for the celebration. Light but bursting with flavor. French . . . but not "the usual" - things like fritters with pepper sauce, melon salads. Great Guatemalan influences (the sausage and tortilas). My wife (an aficionado of the soup) said it was the best lobster bisque she's ever had. Anyhow, put down any hesitation you might feel and get over here: just as all the reviews suggest, the place is fantastic. My husband and I decided to celebrate his birthday here after hearing great things, and somehow this place still managed to exceed every expectation. From the moment we walked in, everything was spot on. The service was warm and attentive without being overbearing, and the music was so good that we found ourselves commenting on it throughout dinner. We had no idea they offered happy hour from 5-7, so that ended up being an unexpected bonus. We took full advantage and ordered several happy hour dishes along with our dinner, and honestly, not a single thing disappointed. Every dish was beautifully plated, perfectly cooked, and expertly seasoned. The presentation alone was impressive, but the flavors were even better. I don't think my pictures can do any of it justice. While everything we tried was excellent, a few dishes absolutely stole the show. The apples with Manchego and ham were such a unique combination of sweet, salty, and savory flavors. The filet was cooked to absolute perfection and so tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The twice-baked potato was rich, creamy, and the perfect steakhouse side. And dessert was the perfect ending to an incredible meal; apples soaked in mulled wine, topped with what tasted like a whipped cream cheese frosting and served with vanilla ice cream. It was unlike anything I've had before and was absolutely delicious. I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things because every bite was memorable, but thankfully the photos help tell the rest of the story. Walking in there was sort of this smell of old wood that I didn't love and it reminded me of old ass New England, where I'm from. But other than that, I loved everything. Beet salad was solid. Angel came by our table several times to make sure we had everything we needed, explained the dishes, and even let us try a few pieces of A5 prepared tableside, which was a great touch. Our waitress was also excellent. She was attentive, answered all of our questions, and always made sure we were taken care of. The drinks were very good, and the food was outstanding. Crab cakes are amazing. Lots of crab & not full of breadcrumbs or other fillers. The Creamy French Onion soup was different than the traditional French Onion soup, but I really liked it. The Lobster Bisque had a spiciness I didn't expect...but was sooooo good. I absolutely love the Kohlrabi vegetable side. I never knew a root vegetable could be so amazingly delicious (roasted and buttery...mmmmm). Every main I've had at Naughty Angel has been quite tasty (Seared Duck breast, Porc Et Haricots, Lamb Shank, and Coc Au Vin...so far). I've had the Rum Cake and Lemon Tart, both good, but the Devil's Red Apple dessert...mwah! Sinfull & unique, poached in mulled wine, stuffed with some kind of creamy goodness, and served with ice cream. It is my favorite dessert to share at the conclusion of a wonderful meal. I've only been twice (so far), but both servers I've had have been on point with timing our food courses, clearing our dishes, and handling our cocktails & drinks. So this restaurant is located BEHIND Circa Casino in a sketchy shopping plaza. Don't let that stop you from going here! Outside of the restaurant there is a mural of angel wings on the wall which makes for a cute picture op. It is a small restaurant, decorated very nicely inside. The atmosphere inside is romantic & cozy. There was a musician there playing the harp and he made beautiful music! I ordered the filet mignon with a side of grilled onions and a twice baked potato. The food was delicious, and I shouldn't have ate so many appetizers because I couldn't finish it all and that is a shame. We had three appetizers, Angel's Deviled Eggs, Deviled Apples and the Japanese Scallops. The scallops were tender, the deviled eggs were very good. Every dish is artfully plated and the service is 5 star! You will love the way the Deviled Apples are served with a little dry ice in a glass dish, making for a magical experience. We were celebrating my birthday, and they served me a surprise little birthday macaroon and one for my friend too! Can you just take a look at the free prenatal bread that they serve? Like it's so good that you know this restaurant care about their customer! It just says that much! I ordered a bunch of stuff, escargot, French onion creamy soup, scallop, duck breast, lobster... a good variation of what they offered and it's not bad at all for the price. A hidden treasure! An incredible place - everything went well from stepping into the restaurant. We had reservations for a birthday party and Aaron made sure it was an unforgettable experience. From helping choosing drinks (the menu is extensive) to the appetizers to the main course, everything was incredibly presented and very delicious. We are a local group of 7 that frequent steak restaurants in the Las Vegas area once a month. This month was The Naughty Angel and what an experience! Despite the name, inside is FIRST CLASS. Of all the steakhouses we have visited recently, this is the newest. Aaron our server was very attentive and patient with our questions. He informed us they opened in March and he brought the chef out at the end of our meal for introductions. Some of the biggest perks to this location is the free parking, photo ops outside and the interior design. Very classy French meets modern design. The lighting is dim yet not so dark. The font size on the menu is easy to read. The service is great - Aaron is very professional. Some of our favorites: fresh bread, Escargot, Lobster Bisque, Duck, Twice Baked Potato and Rum Cake. The food is served on creative, delicate dinnerware. The food had some challenges: the salad had too much dressing, shrimp wrapped bacon was dry & overcooked, asparagus was tough on the ends, one Ribeye was too salty with bones not mentioned on the menu. Despite the challenges, considering how young this restaurant is, we're applauding this local chef for his entrepreneurialism and looking forward to coming back someday soon to see how it progresses. Love the idea of French Cuisine combined with steakhouse fair. Unfortunately the experience didn't deliver. I love deviled eggs, I was excited to try them but they sold out Friday night. Having worked in restaurants for over a decade, I don't understand how they couldn't restock and hardboil some eggs for Saturday service. This is not a time consuming dish. The French Onion soup is the best metaphor for my experience. It's advertised as a creamy onion soup topped with a slice of toasted baguette with melted gruyer cheese. The serving size was less than 6 ounces, there was no baguette, if there was gruyere it was a small portion completely melted into the soup and it was not detectable. There was a teaspoon sized portion of onion strings (the store bought kind that come in small red cylinder) on top. Soup itself was extremely thin and wanted for flavor. Calling this French Onion Soup is a crime. I don't think the pricing matched the product. Service was good. In summation - an exciting menu that doesn't deliver on it's promise. read more

We decided to go to the opposite end to have some quiet time. It wasn't loud, noisy, or crowded. We ordered a wide variety of dishes to share, which gave us a good sense of the menu overall. Highlights included the escargot, which was delicious; the linguine and clams, very flavorful, even though the pasta itself wasn't actually linguine and the portion leaned a bit light on pasta. The melon serrano salad was refreshing, though dressed a bit more heavily than expected. Sides like the pomme frites were solid. That said, there were some clear misses. The baked sweet potato arrived cold in the center, which made it seem like it may have been pre-prepared and reheated without fully warming through. The biggest issue was the Delmonico Ribeye. It arrived with a pungent, metallic, bloody smell that was honestly off-putting. When we brought it up, the server insisted it was normal for a 45-day aged steak but that wasn't communicated when ordering, and none of us could get past the smell or taste. It just didn't seem right. Collectively, each of us at the table have had many dry-aged and wet-aged steak and never had a steak smell remotely close to this. The manager came by and handled the situation with professionalism and some empathy, trying explain their approach to aged steaks and ultimately removing both the steak and the sweet potato from our bill, which we appreciated. He also offered dessert, though we had to decline due to time. Overall, there were some standout dishes and good intentions in service, but the main dish and communication gaps made the ultimately not enjoyable. read more

I stumbled across this restaurant looking for a steakhouse to try. Being a newly opened establishment with unique offerings i was excited to try it. When I arrived there was only one other couple in the restaurant but they had just opened. The atmosphere is so pretty and nice. There is a harp player that plays the harp which is a nice touch. I really wanted to order everything on the menu. It was really hard to decide. They start you with a delicious freshly baked bread with apricot jam. It was light and sweet. We ended up going with the Japanese scallops they were good. I enjoyed the flavor of the sauces on them. We got an order of the deviled apples. They are such a simple thing but very good! I could have eaten so many more of those! We also got an order of deviled eggs with crab. The eggs were VERY good. I loved all the flavors bursting out of them! I probably could have eaten a lot more of them too. For our main course I ordered the duck breast. It was cooked to perfection and was juicy. The skin had a delicious flavor. I enjoyed it a lot! The potatoes it came with were very good. They had a subtle rosemary and thyme flavor. My friend got the filet minion with peppercorn sauce and a twice backed potato. I sampled both and they were delicious! The steak cooked to perfection with so much flavor! One of the better steaks i have had in town. Only slight issue with the steak is it had a bit of an excessive amount of salt on it. The twice baked potato was prob one of the best i have ever had! It really surprised me. We got an order of macaroons that were the perfect little sweet to end the meal. I wanted to try all the desserts as they all sounded amazing as well but I was stuffed. For locals it's great because there's plenty of parking out front and you don't have to walk through a casino for miles. Food and drinks were great. Presentations were beautiful. I had previously lived in Las Vegas and regularly stalk Yelp for new up and coming restaurants outside of The Strip to support and The Naughty Angel did not fall short. I made and confirmed a reservation, which I ended up changing several times, regardless the restaurant was more than accommodating. When entering, we were welcomed by Aaron, who immediately led us to our table not too far from the live music. We enjoyed house made brioche with whipped butter and apple jam. From the herbaceous escargot to the saucisse, everything was prefect! The most memorable part was the creamy french onion soup, which I thought my boyfriend was exaggerating how silky the first bite was, but hands down this is such a unique take on a classic soup and it is the only way I want to enjoy it now. We came across the Naughty Angel and were not disappointed. The deviled apples are a light appetizer but are so good that you have to try them. The deviled apples were good but were missing a little creaminess which is what I think of when I hear deviled. The steaks were very good. Picana temp was Medium Rare and it was cooked just right, but the meat was a little tougher than I expected. Next time I am going rib eye. The filet minion was cooked to medium and my wife enjoyed it. The ambiance is very unique and accommodating the one thing that we could get over was the air freshener, just a bit too much.
