The shop is small inside, but there's seating in the back. We got a dozen assorted macarons for $40, and each flavor was so good. We were a little impatient and didn't wait for some of them to fully soften up before diving in, but they were still great. Macaron Flavors We Tried (all 5/5): - Watermelon Tajín - Curry Coconut (kids least favorite but I enjoyed it) - Elote - Blueberry Cheesecake - Lavender - Salted Caramel - Passionfruit - Cookie Butter I also tried their Tiramisu Cold Brew, which I really enjoyed. I can't wait to come back and try more of their macaron flavors!

They have a combination of standard flavors (think espresso, pistachio, chocolate) and unique sweet and savory options. It's a small storefront with two tables inside and some outdoor seating. The service was friendly and quick as well. We got 3 macarons to try for $10 - a lavender, watermelon tajin, and apple gorgonzola. Surprisingly the lavender was my least favorite despite us choosing it as a "safe" option - the filling was almost soapy in taste and felt slightly gritty/oily. The watermelon tajin had the flavor of a jolly rancher and also bubblegum and was very unique and interesting to try. The apple gorgonzola was likely my favorite, with the macarons have a sour apple taste and the filling being more creamy with buts of funk and umami from the gorgonzola cutting through. Overall, lots of unique fun flavors at Madeline's and I'm glad I gave it a try! I'm definitely impressed by how they were able to capture this wide variety of flavors in macaron form, and the macaron cookies themseslves are wonderful in texture.

Looking at other…read morereviews, it seems like other people got to try specific bonbon flavors, which would've been even better, but I can't complain with free samples... There was no one in the store when we visited, and no one behind us waiting so we took our time choosing. The lady working behind the counter seemed slightly exasperated with us. Regardless, we ended up picking a 9 piece box, which was $27. The subsequent times we visited, it was a different employee, who was more friendly so your experience may vary. Regardless, pretty good chocolate overall, albeit pricey, but the store feels kind of cold and sterile.

My absolute favorite is the Dang Dazy milk chocolate--its velvety texture paired with crunchy almond and hazelnut bits creates the perfect balance. The Earl Grey dark chocolate was also incredibly good. While the richness of the dark chocolate leans slightly dominant, you can still catch those subtle, fragrant notes of Earl Grey in each bite. At around $3 per bonbon, it's definitely on the pricier side--but considering the quality, creativity, and variety of flavors, I think it's completely justified. It's especially heartbreaking to share that this is widely considered one of the best artisan chocolate shops in California, and they're now closing their only store in Yountville due to slow business and rising costs. Losing a place like this feels like losing a true gem. If you're anywhere near Yountville, make the trip and show them some love while you still can.

I'm giving it a 3 stars because we had to awhile to get seated and we had reservations ahead of time. Also, I feel that more food could be served at this winery. The tastings were paid ahead of time, which I didn't like as well since it added gratuity in advance. The wines were very good but I felt that its limited things to do here unless you have a membership with them. The winery was beautiful and very clean, but I felt that it caters more to the wine membership customers rather than regular ones. The seating was nice and serene with a nice view. Our server Camron was very nice and easy going!! He explained the wines well and good attitude!! The wine glasses here are cute as well' They also have a photo both that is cute! I may want to come back to try the tasting pair. -Marshay D.

What I got for $14 was two slices of very dry bread, a stack of thin turkey slices, two curled pieces of mild cheddar cheese (on a turkey sandwich?), a single limp leaf of lettuce and a packet of yellow mustard (Heinz) and mayo. No tomato, no seasoning, no balance of flavors. Just dry bread, turkey, and cheese that doesn't even belong on this type of sandwich. The wrap didn't list ingredients and the deli counter was closed, so there was no way to ask questions or customize anything. I ended up stuck with a premade option that felt like something from a hospital cafeteria rather than a market in the Napa Valley. The bread could have saved it, but even that was just a bland sweet roll with no texture or character. For $13+ they could at least use a decent bread from one of the many local bakeries. As a local, it's disappointing because visitors assume places in Yountville will reflect the food reputation of the area. Unfortunately this didn't come close. I've seen similar feedback in other reviews for the deli, and after this experience I understand why. The sad part is those reviews date back for years and they have obviously fallen on deaf ears. Vote with your dollars folks. If you're heading up valley and want a good sandwich, you're honestly better off stopping at Genova in Napa on the way or continuing just a few minutes up the road to Oakville Grocery. If you only need a quick bottle of wine this is a place for you. I rarely say this, but this was a "never again" for me.
