He was also recovering from a broken hip and was using a walker. Aria had the safest facilities for my father to move around. The common areas have wood floors and less clutter than other communities. I felt my father was safe. My father enjoyed being able to enjoy the out side on his own with access to their courtyard. Not all communities are set up where your loved ones can enjoy outdoors when they want to. The Facility Manager was very helpful in helping set up my fathers room as well as hanging pictures. Since my father was an engineer, the Facilities Manager took the time to have many great conversations with my father. It is great that Aria is dedicated to Memory Care. They know how to take care of all levels. The separation of cognitive and non cognitive guests is priceless. My father was able to have conversations with other guests with similar challenges. Having a loved one in a home is all ways difficult but when you arrive at Aria you really do not feel you are in a nursing home. It helped me when I was visiting my father. Last but not least the Executive Director Ceri Mackenzie is there for you and your loved ones 24 hours. I have seen this first hand. She was there for helping me manage my fathers needs. Her experience and knowledge comes in handy as anything can happen any time when you are taking care of our elders. The team reacts positively to Ceri's experience and enthusiasm. To sum it up, Aria is a gem in senior community. It offers clean, safe, easy to navigate common area floor plan, spacious individual units and a lovely courtyard to enhance for my father's daily experience. Mostly importantly, the team members are friendly, caring and do not hesitate to come to aide whenever the unexpected need rises. My father actually thrived and showed improvement in matter of weeks under their care. . I have had other family members in Brookdale, Sunrise and, and Emeritus. Aria Memory Care is superior above all other communities. I would recommend Aria to any of my close friends and family.

Our Mom was my Dad's primary caregiver prior to her unexpected death so this transition has been very difficult. I chose Aria because the staff were all very caring friendly, the facility is very clean and modern, and the apartment/room was a nice size and well laid out to match, as closely as possible, my Dad's bedroom at home. My Dad has only been there 2 months but I still feel very confident I have made the right decision with Aria. Ceri Mackenzie is the medical director and she is very patient with the family and also with our Dad. She is knowledgeable and shares that knowledge to make us more comfortable with the transition. The nursing staff and aides have all been very friendly to Dad - especially Kristin, Melissa, Brandon and Jeannette - but they have all been wonderful.

I had a 2bdr-2bath corner unit on the second level, and my building was pretty centrally located. I got great natural lighting due to all the windows I had - it was the thing that made me want this place! Love the open concept. I also loved the huge garden style bathtubs - i am now forever spoiled and cannot live in another space without one! For the most part, it was a very nice and quiet community. Neighbors are friendly and the staff was mostly responsive and attentive. I also want to give a special shout out to the maintenance guys - they keep this place well maintained and they are super friendly, professional, and trustworthy! Unfortunately, towards the end of my stay here, as new neighbors moved in, the community started to change a bit. People were louder, seemed inconsiderate of neighbors, and more break-ins were happening even though this is a gated area. It's not entirely the management's fault, but I wish they were enforcing the rules more. Overall, I would recommend this place to people. I really did appreciate my stay here. I held lots of gatherings at my apartment and friends also really liked the space!

If you want to live with rattlesnakes, scorpions and management that doesn't care then sign up. It's sad because Camden used to be a good place and I've spent over a decade in Camden properties. The gate works only half the time, valet living you have to use but only show up when you complain enough. Maintenance seems to care but that's about the only positive anymore. Spend your money somewhere better kept up and where it's valued. The current management here is a joke.

From sales, to concierge, to maintenance and cleaning, every single person here cares about the building, it's tenants and seems to love what they do. The renting and renewal process was transparent and a breeze, they fix anything and everything I put in within 48 hours, and they're always giving us goodies or hosting a great rooftop market event to bring the tenants together. Front desk staff is top notch, management not so much. If you leave any form of negative review…read morethey will email you and harass you about your experience. It's weird and unprofessional. This place is a 5th year dorm, it is what it is. The maintenance staff smoke cigarettes on residents balcony when working on units, the walls are thin, and there is constant trash in the hallways from parties. If this your scene, that's totally fine. But if you're a professional with any self respect about having a clean and quiet place to reside, not so much, the gate for the parking garage has never worked. And my car has been burglarized 5 times now. Tenants throw wine bottles at valet car drivers, and apparently there was a drug king pin where a DEA team was called in. Again, if you love to party, live here. If you don't, then don't. Want to reshare this quote from another resident as I agree wholeheartedly with their sentiment "Kristy was incredibly rude and passive aggressive on may times and multiple occasions"

HORRIBLE - BEWARE!! I highly recommend not renting from Alister Oak Hill. I wish I would have read…read morethe reviews more closely before renting here. I had major issues with mold in the bathroom. When I initially moved in, within the first week, I came home from work to find water filling the entire bathroom floor. I reported the issue (they said it was from the tenant upstairs) and came in the fix the issue. They cleaned up the water. Fast forward a few months and I noticed dark, damp moisture on the side of the wall near the shower then once I removed everything from my pantry (it shares a wall with the shower) I noticed mold in the pantry as well. I submitted a maintenance request. They came in and looked into it. The maintenance person looked concerned, left a came back a while later and said it was no big deal and they would just clean it up. I had to insist that they investigate it further (I have health issues that make me highly sensitive to mold). The maintenance person didn't seem overly concerned after his phone call but I continued to push and he finally agreed to cut into the wall through the pantry and found a lot of mold there. Again, I had to ask him what the plan was (there was still a leak behind that wall after all those months). He acted like it wasn't that big of a deal. I took pictures of what I could see and have them still. He informed me of the plan and I still was not satisfied (it would have only been a half ass fix, leaving me with a mold issue so I asked them why they weren't going to remove the wall in the shower to find out more about the long term leak and the potential for more mold that could be growing. Eventually, after making me feel like I had to be super pushy, he took the wall out of the shower. He hurried through the apartment and out the door with the wall so I couldn't see how much mold was there but I most certainly saw massive amounts of mold! I wanted to take a picture but he kept going when I tried to get his attention. At that point, I was just so happy to have had them actually remove the mold and expose the leak that I let it go. I really wish I would have been more aggressive and taken a picture of what was on the inside of that wall (a wall that was a shared wall with my neighbor that had a young baby and a young boy). I paid my deposit before I moved in and paid all the pet fees prior to moving in and pet fees throughout yet as soon as I moved out, they immediately turned me into a collections agency without ever trying to reach out to me directly first. They wanted me to pay for new carpet and paint. I cleaned that apartment very well and did not see any issues (especially with paint) with either the carpet or the paint. I actually steam cleaned the carpet before moving out. I asked for a detailed list of what the almost $1000 that they turned me into collections was for and it took them months to produce that document. I just have to wonder what in the world my deposit went towards if they used my deposit AND turned me into collections for $1000 fee for carpet and paint?? We were only in the apartment for 10 months so even every day wear and tear was nothing. This is absurd and looking at other reviews is obviously a ploy for them to get more money out of people through collections. Whose first communication to discuss damages (which there were not except maybe to my health from mold exposure) or carpet replacement etc is to not reach out the tenant but turn them into collections?! Insane way of doing business really. Additionally, they had to change my locks a couple of months prior to my lease being up and when they changed the main door lock, they also changed the storage unit locks as well but failed to actually change both of them though I didn't know. So, when I went to move out, I couldn't get one of the storage closets outside open and had to put in a request for them to come open the door. I put the request but they did not come in time - I even went to the office twice to let them know what was going on and even though it was during office hours, the doors were locked both times. I tried calling but their bot won't let you through to a human no matter what so it wasn't until the next day that I went into the office to get help that the woman told me they were going to charge me for the extra day of occupancy (the absolute only thing left in that place was what was in that storage closet I could not open because the key they gave be didn't open it). The woman wanted to argue with me when I said that it wasn't my fault, that I had contacted maintenance the last day I was moving out but heard nothing and even went to the office twice during office hours but the doors were locked and that was not my fault and her response was "well, that isn't our fault so you will have to pay" - I asked for the manager and eventually she acted like she was doing me a huge favor for not charging me for me not being able to access my belongings due to their mistake.
