Has gone downhill. The staff seems to think they are curing cancer - always rude and take their sweet 'ole time. It should not take 1 hr and 15 minutes for a mani/pedi. I was there last week and it actually took closer to 1 hr 30 minutes....I had to wait 10 minutes between services while the manager sat next to me at the manicure table, painting another staff member's nails. Ew. In between ignoring me, I got to hear them all gush about Hani (?) and how NO OTHER nail salon offers her life-altering nail designs. Give me a break. The owner hasn't been there in months - and it shows. They only have 2 people who can do acrylics. The guy is so - so at them, and the girl, Hani, is pretty good. Sadly, she's SO RUDE and just spits venom. After over a year and a half of trying to put her rudeness aside, I'm giving up on this place altogether. Go elsewhere. There are so many great nail salons in the city - there's no need to go to this one. read more

I wouldn't even give them a star. I walked into their nail salon on a Sunday at 3:30pm. They asked me what service was I receiving. I asked for a refill, the guy at the desk goes to one of the nail techs and then comes back to me and say "sorry we only have 1 nail tech and we leave at 5." I said it's only 3:30, he said I know but he just took someone and we leave at 3 so we won't be able to do you today sorry." There was more than one person doing nails might I add. I've been getting my nails done a very long time and I did not understand his logic. The lady at the desk was even confused. She told him to ask someone else, he was firm with his answer, it was NO. Basically I was refused service for a reason unknown. I'll never return here and will tell everyone I know not to as well as all my followers on social media. Bad business or lack thereof! read more

I have been coming here for over three years, and always have good outcomes. Susan is my nail technician...she is friendly, professional, and always provides my desired outcome. I prefer consistency, and I always see Rosa for pedicures. I have experienced many different types of pedicures over the years, and Rosa is the best. For chair massage, Juan is the best. His 30 minutes chair massage is far better than any hour massage I have received in this city. He has healing hands. Helen, the owner, is always friendly, and acknowledges her customers with gratitude. The atmosphere is more peaceful than most salons, and it is always clean. read more

The service is good though it really depends on who you get. I've had great service in the past. Recently, however, when I wasn't happy with the service, I communicated it only to have 3 separate people tell me I was wrong. It's too bad. Despite the lukewarm attitude and inconsistent service, I did have some great mani and pedis. I don't think I can go back knowing that they would treat a frequent (more than once monthly) customer like that! read more

This place is pretty pricey for a Philly pedi/gel mani ($60) but I was willing to pay a higher price for a good experience and quality job. I so rarely have time to get my nails done and I need to make it last! I can say that this was definitely one of the strangest experiences I have had at a nail salon. I didn't have an appointment but was seated right away. A lovely woman (Net, I think) did my pedicure. She took her time and did a really solid job. After the pedicure I was passed off to another tail tech who was so rude it was almost laughable (almost... if not for the high price of the service). Her name was Hinna or something close to that. She seemed to be in a pretty bad mood but everyone is entitled to a bad day so I shrugged it off. She started off by putting super intense pressure on my nail when pushing down my cuticles (I have a bruise!) and when I asked her to lighten it up she proceeded to just do nothing with the rest of the nails. She was rushing through the job quicker than I've ever experienced and I had to argue with her twice over pulling my hands out of the UV light before the time was up. She rolled her eyes, sighed heavily, and mumbled to herself the entire time. She even rolled her eyes at my color choice! I would have taken it personally but I witnessed her do the same thing to two prospective clients who came in without appointments (and promptly left after she was so rude). Around the end of the manicure she lightened up a little bit right before she took my card for the bill - the pessimist in me suspects that is because she was hoping for a bigger tip. The first half with the pedi was great, but the second half with the gel mani was painfully awkward. For the price point, sadly I would not recommend this place. I love this place! I used to go to Genesis in Northern Liberties so I'm thrilled they opened another one in my neighborhood. The massages they give during the pedicure makes all the difference- that's what keeps me coming back. I also love when they offer a neck message while I'm sitting at the dyers while my nails dry. They have a good selection of colors and gel nails. My only wish is that they spent a little more time on scrubbing and scraping my feet. My toenails look nice and the massage feels good but my feet are still rough and the skin doesn't look much better after I leave. I usually go every two weeks so its not like much time passes for my feet to get so bad before I go back again. Basically, come here for maintenance and pampering, not for a "real" rejuvenating pedicure. I'll keep going but I wish I didn't have to do my own foot scrub at home. The interior decorating leaves much to be desired, in fact it's down right awful, but the pedicure chairs are fabulous and that's really all the matters. Still love it, still recommend it!! Most places in the city at this price point don't measure up. The staff has been wonderful too. read more

I'm new to the area so after reading reviews I decided to give heritage a try. I'm so happy I did! Depending on how many people are working and how busy they are, they really try and take their time during pedicures, which is great. The man who gave me mine was the best! Their gel manicures last long and I have no complaints! Even got a back massage when my nails were drying. They really try and make it a relaxed enjoyable experience. Ask about the membership program. Give Heritage a try! read more

I can not say enough positive things about Heritage Nails. The space is large and clean, the massage chairs are awesome. There is always nice relaxing music playing. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to make it a pleasurable experience. My favorite is Jasmine! She is fantastic!!! read more

This is my place for gel manis and pedicures. It's extremely clean and I was so happy when it opened. The only option in the neighborhood before this was Polaris which was awful (like it was a problem I wanted my nails done, different prices for CC vs cash). I've been going to Heritage since they opened and they know me by name which is nice. My pedi usually stays perfect for at least 2 weeks and the massages you get while your nails/toes are drying is awesome! It's a nice relaxing addition that I look forward to when I go to Heritage. read more

Heritage Nails is a wonderful place to go in the city if you want to be pampered and take your time enjoying the spa. Most places want you in and out as quickly as possible, but heritage nails really takes their time and gives you all the nice "goodies" standard with the mani/pedi (hot stone massage, massage your calves and feet for 20+ mins etc) I highly recommend this place as the service is great and the prices are completely reasonable :) read more

I am very happy with this place. I walk in stressed and walk out totally relaxed. Okay, the staff aren't all the same in ability or interest to communicate but I've never had a problem. When I leave, my nails look good and I've had three massages. It doesn't get any better than that! And I think the young man that does the back massage is fabulous! read more

This place is a joke. Overpriced and horrible service. My boyfriend purchased a gift card from this place for a pedicure and manicure. Little do he know I don't ever get manicures. I only get acrylics. Anyway, I got the pedicure and he barely touched my feet. When it was time to pay I had a balance of $10 left on the gift card, because I used it on a pedicure prior to this appointment. He says oh did someone give you this card. I said yes my boyfriend. He said oh this was for the pedicure and manicure special so you can't use this. If my boyfriend paid $40 for the gift card I should be able to use that money however I want. I had to pay $30 for that horrible pedicure and he had the nerve to get mad at me for not tipping and broadcasted it to everyone at the salon. I couldn't believe he got mad at me because I didn't tip him $5 dollars. Then he said no one will ever do you if you come back. I said I never will. Pathetic! read more

This was my 3rd time at Heritage and my last. Upon entry, I notice the shop was full so I ask how long would it be for a manicure. I was told 15 minutes so I began to pick out my color. I was placed in foot soak and massage chair and was relaxing enjoying the water and awaiting my long anticipated pedicure. The owner an older Asian woman comers over and yanks my foot out of water rather roughly and began removing some of the polish from my toes. I asked her why so rough and she told me it was acupuncture massage. She half way removed polish from my toes and then began to file my toenails. I told her I have had many pedicures and she should remove all the polish before filing my toes, which she continued yanking around. Finally, I told her that I would wait for another techinician. Fortunately a young man was finishing up and he rescued me and gave me a pretty good pedicure. So I tipped him what I thought was sufficient, $3 cash and paid my $30 for pedicure. At the counter, as I signed my credit card receipt for service, the owner (the older Asian woman again), told me there was a mandatory 15% tip fee for the technician when you spend $30 everybody knows that, she said. I advised her that what she was not going to do was tell me how much to tip a manicure technician after all this is a nail salon, not a restaurant and I was not everybody. What I may do is report her poor business ethics to the BBB or L&I. If she wanted him to have 15% then I suggest she give him the balance out of the $30 I gave her. Needless to say I will not be going back to this establishment. What .is wrong with people? read more

I went to Heritage Nails for a mani/pedi on the recommendation of a friend. All seemed OK at first - the staff was friendly, the salon looked clean, and there was a decent selection of nail colors. The pedicure was alright, until the nail trim when my nails were cut SUPER short and uneven/angled. Hm. When I was asked about the manicure, I explained what I wanted (it wasn't anything outlandish - just a dark base color with a thin, brightly colored tip) and was told NO by the technician that did my pedi. Again...hmm. The technician found another technician willing to do what I wanted. I received a rough, rushed manicure. The polish was sloppy and colored tip uneven. The technician did not apply a top coat, and the colored tips became wobbly lines within an hour of leaving the salon. I had to remove the polish that evening. I didn't even get the complimentary massage while my nails were drying - all I received from my visit were ripped up cuticles, hangnails and an infected toe.
