I love this place for my doodle/mostly poodle. She gets a tight cut and sometimes fun cuts (mohawk anyone?) and they haven't accidentally cut her. She moves when she's groomed (she actually hates it) and I can tell they are super gentle with her. She never comes home with ears that bother her (no water in the ears), and I have no complaints on her groom. Will be back! read more

This is the best pet salon for poodles in all of Dallas. The groomer has awards in poodle grooming and knows how to do Japanese fusion cuts. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality. I would never go anywhere else. Their shampoo also smells great for days. read more

Do not take your dog here!!! Owner pretends to be nice to you. I brought my small dog to her. He was afraid and even pee in fear. She put a leash around his neck and pulled him across the floor like a mop. I was so shocked and sadden that she did this to my baby. When i returned i asked politely never pull my dog by his neck again!! She replied if i did not like it find another groomer. Well lady I will find another who give care, love and patients. That attitude from her telling me to find another groomer really showed how she had no remorse for what she had done. I told her in a calm voice and almost crying. Not a good job at all. I showed them photos of how my dog usually gets trimmed. When my wife picked him up and brought him home he was a mess. They litterally just ran a trimmer all over him. No styling at all and nothing like the photo I showed them. $65 for this? Fortunately it will grow back but not going there again. read more

Abusive. I'm still in shock as I write this review. As I dropped my small 12pb dog off this morning something told me to wait, so I did. The woman who works the front drug my dog back to the crates and opened the bottom crate that he ran in and she literally threw his retractable heavy leash at him STILL ATTATCHED. I watched the whole thing happen, I know she thought I'd already walked out the door so when she turned around and saw me standing there she ran over to me and asked if I needed anything. I told her to bring me my dog back, she asked me oh why? And o told her I saw you throw his retractable leash at him?? I do not like that. She looked me dead in the face and said "what else was I supposed to do?" How do you throw a heavy retractable leash at a small dog who's already nervous and shaking visibly.. What kind of person treats animals like that??! No one that I will ever trust with my dogs! If that is how they treat the dogs when they think no one is looking who knows what else they do to your baby. And they have no way to tell you that they're getting abused. It breaks my heart to think about how else the dogs are treated at this salon we will never be back. read more

Great cut! Great experience. Lacey seemed in good spirits and not rattled after her cut. We were really pleased with how they treated our baby and the level of precision given to her cut. They asked questions and followed the instructions. Took about 2 hours. Would highly recommend! read more

It's so unfortunate that this place didn't work out. Our first experience with this pet salon was great! We have a corgi which is a 24/7 shedding breed and loved how well they brushed him out the first time. He wasn't excessively shedding, but of course has some minimum shedding which is only natural to the breed. The second time we scheduled for services we did not get anywhere near the first time results. He seemed to have not been properly brushed out, which the services claim to help minimize shedding. He also came back with an extremely sensitive right eye and now come to realize it is infected. I do NOT recommend services here. Not consistent and apparently they do not take proper care of your furry loved ones. read more

I called ahead to schedule an appointment. When I showed up ... they did not want to service my toy poodle. I left after 5 minutes and was completely shocked and appalled. I will never come back again. Classic K9 Dog Grooming (Frisco) took me in as a walk in that same day and had her done in 45 min. She looked perfect. read more

We took our baby Toby (5 month old puppy) there today for his first grooming. I was so nervous that he would be traumatized or he would terrorize them - BUT they were GREAT. He was only there a few hours and they explained everything in detail and definitely listened to what we wanted. He is so cute, soft and smells sooo good. We will definitely be back! Heritage is the only pet salon we've found that has been able to groom our pets right. We tried several salons when we had a Pomeranian and no one seemed to do a smooth cut. Now we have a Maltese and would trust to anyone else. Well worth the 25 minute drive each way. read more

Took my miniature schnauzer for grooming here, and it resulted in a ear infection, inflamed anus, and a lower back injury to my dog. Vet bills for medication and visits totaled $250. It took about 3 weeks for the lower back to heal, 1 week on medication for the ear infection, and another week taking anti-inflamation medication for the anus. The inflamed anus was from a faulty attempt to express the anal glands and the ear infection was from failing to dry the ears completely. We're not sure how he injured his lower back, but we suspect he may have been dropped or it was from the failed attempt to express his glands. Aside from the vet bills and injured pet, the grooming was top notch and the dog did look pretty good. read more

Had my 115lb Rottie groomed here and they were great! They took him in as a walk in and I got the bath package since they advertised about their "shedless" treatment and I am amazed at how much less he shed after his visit! I have a finicky 12 year old beagle that hates to get his nails trimmed. Even VCA struggles with trimming his nails. Somehow, Heritage is able to trim his nails and have never cut the quick. The owner does this with a smile and at great pricing. My beagle takes about 4 hours and he comes back looking good, smelling good and nails trimmed. read more

Heritage was able to fit me in last minute and did the best job ever on my long haired GSD. She's so soft, smells amazing, and she visibly is shedding WAY less than before. They cleaned in her ears, trimmed the fur under her paws and sanitary region, and cut her nails for about $85. My only complaint and the only reason for not giving 5 stars is communication is a little lacking. There weren't any questions before the groom about expectations, to trim or not to trim, etc. I hurriedly mentioned I wanted a nail trim and no cutting aside from paws and sanitary as she disappeared in the back. I have several Schnauzers and they have groomed all of them. However, they never listen to what I tell them and the dogs never look as they should. Last time I brought in one and when I picked her up she had blood all over her head, ears and back. I was told she had bumps and they had a problem shaving her. There was so much blood I had to take her to the Vet on my way home. I took two more in today and asked that the groomer that had done my previous dog and hurt her, not groom any of my other dogs. Sweets, the owner, told me that they would no longer groom their ears as there were bumps in them. The two that were with me had nothing in their ears, but she stuck to not shaving them. I asked her if she was saying she no longer wanted to groom my dogs and she said you decide, turned around and sat down with her back to me at her desk. I walked out and said I would never recommend her business to anyone as she hurts the dogs. I will never go back to that place. In answer to her answer to this review ..... When they cut my dog in 3 places she showed me and had put something on the places. They were still bleeding and I took the dog to the Vet. She was well aware what had happened. And, I have 7 dogs, not 5 and only one is blind. All the rest of them are healthy and under the age of 8. They are well cared for and if they are scared it is due to the service at Heritage. She did not give me any type of discount except if I paid her in cash so she would not have to report the income. read more

My dog has been coming here from nearly 3 years. Service has generally been great. However, this last time, the hair on my dog's bum was shaved far too closely. This is particularly a problem because I specifically asked the gentleman to be careful in that area. To their credit, i think the guy was new. My dog has been miserable for the past 24 hours. There was some scabbing and bleeding. As I'm sure anyone reading this is a dog lover like me, it's painful to watch your dog suffer. I then called to let them know the issue and I was given a sincere apology. I understand that people make mistakes, but we should have been offered something in addition to an apology. read more

I really liked the grooming but they charged me extra due to my dog being "difficult" to work with. I never received any complaints from other groomers or vets before. He is a really sweet and non-agressive dog but he is a scaredy-cat. I guess they just didn't know how to deal with his personality. We own a brother and sister pair of maltese pups. They received excellent grooming here. A huge negative during grooming, is that our lil boy suffers from separation anxiety during their grooming visits. This is one of the few paces that we have taken them, and when we picked them up, he wasn't shaking like a leaf. The grooming was excellent, and the service was spot on. I'm giving them two stars because I have had a lot of good experiences here. However, my dog also received an injury durning grooming- a puncture wound to the eye! Luckily we were able to get it healed up, but no dog should have to go through that. Maggie is not a very excitable dog and does not wiggle much- so I feel it was inattentiveness with the shears. read more
