Our gang of four enjoyed our steak dinner. Friendly, attentive service. Steaks come with a single choice of side, salad bar, and bread if you ask for it. Salad bars take a lot of attention and was kept clean. We chose a Ribeye and Filet Mignon cooked to our order medium-rare with fully loaded baked potato. Seating was mostly couples and tables of four. Larger groups were in another room. Full bar. Private parking lot. Open for dinner Tues-Sunday, lunch Tues-Fri, and brunch only on Sunday. Convenient from BNA airport and The Hermitage Overall good value for a steak dinner. The steak was of very good quality and taste. Reservation is essential. Two Small Gripes: * The baked potato had the consistency of a steamed baked potato * Bread was soft like you get at a wedding at a Holiday Inn.

Went for a quick date night - hadn't been here in several years. You have to text a number for reservations which is interesting but not a problem. It was a Friday night and got a reservation the day before. It was like 3/4 full at 6:30 and we were sat quickly. The waitress was very nice, we ordered the bubble bread, and I got a 6oz filet with salad bar and baked potato and husband got the 12iz ribeye with the same. The bubble bread was pretty good, very cheesy. Salad bar here is always memorable, 40 options or something like that of toppings. My filet was pretty good, they do their steaks on the grill so there's char flavor but not much else. Husbands ribeye was more of a medium than med rare and pretty thin - same comments on the flavor. Loaded baked potatoes were huge. Steaks are probably a little overpriced but still left full and happy.

Customer Service: Good, but I wish it was easier to communicate with making reservations, etc. Inside: waitress was good, when you get put off in the cut, you kind of get forgotten about. Food: I'll be honest, the food for the price is fine? Like. The bubble bread is not good. The steak again for the price wasn't the best and i was disappointed. The salad bar is the best part of this entire thing. I loved that.

The best salad bar in Nashville.

This place is so delicious and the service was spot on. 10-10 recommend. The ambiance is also very nice and clean. Salad bar was the best in town.

Moving here from Wisconsin, this place gives us that great supper club vibe we love so much. Staff has always been super friendly. Their salad bar is OUT OF THIS WORLD. And their Sunday brunch is great too. Steaks are always a solid choice. Opt for the side of grilled asparagus. Even my asparagus-hating husband loved it! The duck wontons are fantastic-we get them every time. The tuna appetizer is also fantastic, as is the bubble bread.

Service & food were outstanding! We really enjoyed hermitage steakhouse for our date night! Being local to Nashville we've driven past here thousands of times but have never stopped for dinner until now! In a city of trendy restaurants, Hermitage was a nice chance of pace of just being old school Nashville! It's difficult to figure out how to make a reservation at hermitage steakhouse considering there's no instructions on their Facebook (no website) & no one ever answers the phone number listed on Facebook & google! The host told us when we walked in you have to text a specific number they give you to make a reservation (how would we have known this? It's not published anywhere!) But good news is we were able to walk in and kill time at the bar while waiting for a table. Julia the bartender was awesome! She had great drink & food recommendations. We had drinks & an appetizer & then our table was ready. The lamb chops & the pork chops were both outstanding! Our server Tyler was very efficient & very kind! We could not have asked for a better server! There are very few salad bar places left in Nashville & hermitage does the salad bar right! Everything on the salad bar was fresh! & the salad bar was very clean! Overall we had a great experience at hermitage steakhouse & we'll return on another date night...now that we know how to make reservations...(4 stars because of reservation hassle)

A classic Nashville restaurant and the food was adequate but the pricing does not line up to the quality you'd expect for the price range.

We weighed our options and ended up visiting Nadeen's Hermitage Haven based off of the positive reviews as well as wanting to visit somewhere local. Nadeen's is charming inside and out. The parking lot is small but there were plenty of spots open on a mid-week morning. We were greeted warmly and sat at a booth. Nadeen's feels familiar and comfortable. Our waiter was fantastic the entire time, he was gracious and hardworking. My husband ordered the Southwest Scramble and I had the Farmer's Skillet. Both were delicious but we both agreed that mine was the better of the two. The biscuit was baked perfectly and was so fluffy. The gravy and potatoes were delicious, too. Our coffee cups were never empty, either. Not to mention, the coffee here is really good! We will definitely be back!

It was a big meal, so much I couldn't finish everything. My wife had the southwest scramble which was something right up her alley.

I have loved, no pun intended, Just Love Coffee for years after visiting a location in Atlanta, so when I wandered over to Hermitage this weekend and spotted the sign...I had to stop by before leaving the area! Just Love is more than just coffee, even though that is what I enjoy most about them. They offer a solid variety of coffee and espresso based drinks along with a few teas and refresher style drinks. The cold brew is my go-to and I fancy it up with a few syrups and some almond milk...but any way it is served is tasty. I have enjoyed the Iced Mocha at other locations, so I imagine it is just as tasty here. For food they have a surprisingly stacked menu including breakfast and lunch, with classics to specialty items. You can get a breakfast sandwich to a few breakfast tacos or even biscuits and gravy...and if you are feeling brave, a waffle stuffed with breakfast meats and eggs topped with gravy or syrup...and that is just for breakfast! For lunch they have a few sandwiches, a quesadilla and a wrap all served with a side of chips. They also offer fresh made desserts if the cookies and other baked goods up front are not doing it for you. The space is well laid out and features a large dining area with plenty of tables and even a small bar/counter space in the nook of the front where you can belly up to the counter for a little work, coffee, food or combination of all. During my visit, I was greeted and served by the owners, a pair of sisters who are an absolute delight! While I popped by for a cold brew, I spotted a few bags of coffee beans and had to scoop them up for some home brew. We chatted through their recommendations and I ended up with an espresso blend and an Ethiopian medium roast. The one blend they recommended the most, Costa Rican, was out unfortunately, but that tells me it is a solid bean, so I will have to keep my eyes out for it! Overall, absolutely adore Just Love Coffee and so glad to see them make their way to the Hermitage area. While I do not go that way often, knowing Just Love is there gives me one more reason to spend a little bit more time in the area!

I tried to swing by around ten minutes to noon, but it was a disaster. There were heaps of people waiting outside, and it didn't look promising. I went to the hostess stand and asked the guy if I could get a table for one, and he said, "Oh, you can sit at the bar; it's open seating. There's one open seat right there!" So, I walked through and was approached by another worker who asked me what I was doing. I told her the guy said I could sit at the bar, and there was an open seat, even though I never saw one. I did see open seats outside at the bar, though. The bar has two sides, one outside and one inside. It seemed alright; it wasn't too hot or humid, so I went. There were dirty dishes all over the place, and I sat down. Another worker asked me, "Are these dishes yours?" Which seemed a bit strange because the guy works the bar and wouldn't he have known the person sitting there before me left them? Anyway, I said no, and he cleared them. I then waited about 5 minutes before another worker skillfully wiped the bar of debris and then got three menus and three sets of silverware (two more guys sat down next to me) and asked me if I wanted water. I said, "Yes, please." She went off, and then shortly after, I saw the same guy come with a menu and a set of silverware and a water. Thumbs up for the water but thumb down for the slowness. I saw the menu and was torn between pancakes and biscuits. I didn't really want anything heavy, so I got the biscuits and gravy but added an egg. I also got a coffee. The wait time for the food was super quick, and the food was really good. The biscuits are small, and they're okay. The egg was good, but it's kinda hard to mess up an egg. I saw the food the people sitting next to me got, and it looked amazing! Pancakes, etc. Overall, the service was pretty bad, but the food was good. I saw no sense of urgency in the workers when they were obviously swamped. I might come when it's not so busy next time. Side note, maybe I'm showing my age, but the price of regular drip coffee was a bit steep. ($4).

I think a perfect egg is like the star of any breakfast and is definitely the headliner/closer of any perfect entree. But I also think good hash browns are the foundation any breakfast is built on. If the potatoes are off--too crunchy, sliced or shredded too big, bad seasoning, &c--the eggs often can't save it. That's why any dish built on the premise of potatoes on the bottom and eggs on top is the ideal dish for me. Paper Mill has a good skillet plate. The potatoes are chunky but not overly so. The sausage and ham are plentiful--definitely no skimping here. The veggies lend a good flavor but don't overstay their welcome. That sauce complements everything well. And my eggs were great. Once mixed it was perfect. I think the only complaint I have of the service was the coffee refills were a bit slow. I'm used to servers coming by and asking for a refill. This time we noticed I was a perfect four for four with having to ask for a refill. Combine that with their policy of not providing coffee to go and it was kind of disappointing. The coffee on the ride back to the hotel is a time-honored vacation tradition. The ambience was good. It was very welcoming. Even if we were sat at a high table, which is normally a deal breaker, this time wasn't so bad. I like the dim lighting. That's normally something you don't see in a breakfast/brunch food joint.
