I don't usually leave reviews, but after tonight I had to. I had one of the best conversations of my life with Patrick. I stopped by for some ice cream and ended up leaving with something much more valuable. We talked for a long time about life, purpose, and the challenges we all go through. Patrick shared advice that genuinely touched me, and I know it's something I'll carry with me for the rest of my life. You can tell he's the kind of person who truly cares about others and has an incredibly kind heart. At the end of our conversation, he told me the ice cream was on him because of the meaningful conversation we had. Then he even stepped out of the truck just to give me a hug. That simple act of kindness meant more than he probably realizes. The ice cream was amazing, but the people behind this business are even better. Patrick and Tina seem like beautiful souls who genuinely spread kindness wherever they go. I truly hope nothing but success, happiness, and blessings come their way because they absolutely deserve it.Thank you, Patrick. For some reason I had this need for ice cream after dinner and we were close to Hershey's. This location is in the Exeter Shopping Center, which is a beat old school plaza that I frankly had overlooked. I went with a cup of the cappuccino crunch, which has a good mix of coffee and chocolate flavors. It's creamy and sweet without being too sweet. That said, it's not Ben & Jerry's. It just tastes less fresh. Probably because it has nasty stuff like partially hydrogenated soy bean oil in it. Anyway, I don't regret going, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. read more

I came here a few days ago to get some dessert after dinner at Solo pizza. When we walked in it was pretty warm especially for an ice cream shop. There was one employee on a phone call but we are indecisive anyways so we waited. She let us sample 2 flavors. They didn't have milk so I couldn't get a milkshake. I got a kids size ice cream scoop of coffee and it was good. I would go back but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. read more

We love this ice cream truck! Hershey's comes to our neighborhood on Thursday nights every few weeks and it's something my family looks forward to. The owner is so friendly and the milkshakes are delicious! They take credit cards and cash and are generous with samples to choose a flavor. You can also select 2 flavors. When I heard there was a Hershey's Ice Cream Shop near me, I was excited to check it out. When I did, what a disappointment. First off, this is not affiliated with Hershey's chocolate so wasn't quite sure what we were getting. Was it going to be close to what I experienced when I visited Hershey's Chocolate World in Hershey, PA, that served up delicious shakes? Unfortunately not. Ordered a chocolate shake and it did not taste close to what I experienced before. On top of that, our server couldn't crack a smile if you paid her to...horrible customer service as she looked and acted annoyed to see customers. I'm sorry to say this, but their ice cream tasted old. Like it already had freezer burn.. :( i was so disappointed because I expected a lot from Hershey's. We tried the ff: 1) Oatmeal Cookie 2) Coffeehouse cookies & cream 3) Peanut Butter Pretzel and 4) Chocolate. Pretzels were already stale, coffee did not taste anything like coffee and the chocolate was really old tasting. Very good service though, friendly too. :) read more

The employees are always extremely friendly at this location and the store is always very clean. It may not seem like a big deal to people who frequent this store but in contrast to the one in Ashburn it is night and day, Ashburn's location is always dirty and they always seem to be out of a bunch of flavors. Back to Leesburg- besides the friendly service, the ice cream is delicious and the shakes are great. These days it is getting harder and harder to find a good ice cream shop- I don't like the frozen yogurts, I want real ice cream so I'm happy I can still find it in Leesburg. read more

I really miss this one being a permanent ice cream shop, but i understand the switch to mobile. The hard thing at this point is finding them. Sometimes they post on Facebook where they will be on a given day. The couple who owns the truck is just the kindest couple ever, we've been eating ice cream from them for 5 years! This summer, during COVID, they came to our tiny little street and it was the first time I had seen some of my neighbors in months. Took my family here for the first time. We arrived 5mins after closing time and the owners were so nice they stayed open and served us with a smile and friendly conversation. I had the banana berry smoothie and it was great. My family had various flavors of the ice cream and they all said this is their new favorite. We stopped here on our way home from a soccer game. It was empty. I ran to the restroom, which was spotless and even smelled nice. My daughter stayed out in the shop and the lady working there kindly offered her some samples. My daughter ordered a huge cone (and a cup for when it got messy). My daughter almost made it through the whole cone and shrieked with excitement. I didn't know what happened so when I asked, she said "she put marshmallows in the bottom of the cone! And sprinkles!" Those are her favorites, so she was quite happy. Great experience at this store. Will go back when we go back to Leesburg. read more

I've been all over the D.C. area and so many other Hershey's locations have closed but I was so thrilled to discover THIS Hershey's ice cream location is actually still open and appears to be thriving. They are so nice and friendly here, and the place is spotless. They have TONS of delicious Hershey's ice cream flavors to choose from and they even make custom ice cream cakes and ice cream cupcakes.
