    I had a very disappointing experience with Enterprise (I picked up the car in Brownsburg)…read more I picked up a rental around 8:20am on 3/16. When it began snowing, I noticed the windshield wipers were heavily damaged and not functioning properly (the rubber was peeled off halway down the wiper). After a medical appointment later that morning, the vehicle would not start at all and became completely unresponsive. I contacted roadside assistance and was told my only option was to wait for a tow truck and then take an Uber to another location for a replacement. When I explained that I did not feel safe taking an Uber alone, I was told there were no other options. As a result, I was stranded for nearly two hours after a fasted medical procedure, without access to food, and had to rely on a family member to come pick me up. I was unable to use the rental at all and lost an entire workday. What's especially concerning is that after the vehicle was towed, no one from Enterprise followed up to check on me, confirm whether I still needed a vehicle, or even provide clarity on where the car was taken. I was effectively left stranded with no resolution or support. Since then, my own follow-up and resolution process has been equally concerning. I was told an area manager would contact me 3/17 when I called customer service at 9:30am. It is now 3/18 at 1pm, but I have not received that call. The rental is not visible in my account, I have no confirmation that it has been closed out, and I still have a full pending charge on my card. I also reached out again through Enterprise's support channel and my chat was ended without resolution, with instructions to simply wait 3-5 business days. This is not a normal situation and should not be handled as one. At this point, I am still waiting for: Confirmation that the rental has been properly closed Release of the pending charge on my card A clear resolution and appropriate compensation This experience reflects serious issues with both vehicle maintenance and customer support. I expected significantly better accountability and follow-through.

    I rented a vehicle from Enterprise Rent-A-Car on March 6th for a trip to Destin, and was provided…read morewith a Volkswagen Taos. We departed at approximately 3:00 AM on March 7th. Shortly after beginning our trip, it became clear that the vehicle was unsafe to operate at highway speeds. It was unstable when encountering potholes or normal road imperfections, making it difficult to maintain control. Given the road conditions in Indiana and the fact that we were driving in the dark for several hours, avoiding these hazards was not always possible. In addition, the vehicle had defective speakers, producing significant distortion and rattling at low volume levels (above level 10), rendering the audio system largely unusable. After arriving in Destin, we promptly went to Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Fort Walton the following day to exchange the vehicle due to these issues. At that time, we specifically pointed out existing scratches and windshield chips on the replacement vehicle. The employee acknowledged these pre-existing conditions and confirmed they would not be an issue. Despite this, I have now received notice that a $500 claim for a cracked windshield has been submitted to my insurance. This is unacceptable. I have clear video documentation from the time of pickup that shows the pre-existing windshield damage, and I am fully prepared to provide this evidence. Filing a claim with my insurance without any prior communication is both inappropriate and unwarranted. At a minimum, I should have been contacted to discuss the alleged damage before any claim was initiated. Had that occurred, I would have immediately provided proof demonstrating that the damage was pre-existing. I expect this claim to be withdrawn promptly after review of the evidence. Please confirm that this matter is being corrected and that no further action will be taken with my insurance provider.
