    I seriously cannot believe how terrible the customer service is here. My boyfriend had a reservation made at noon today (5/28/16) to pick up a rental for a very important trip for schooling that he spent so much time and money on to make happen and when we showed up to get the car the place was closed with a woman named Wendy at the desk. She opened the door for my boyfriend and said there was nothing she could do about his reservation because they shut the computer down when they are closed and cannot turn them back on. That's some serious bull. He begged her to turn them back on and she refused and said sorry there's nothing I can do went back inside and locked the door. Are you freaking kidding me? You can't turn the computers back on? Isn't it 2016? Or are your computers old and from the 90s? I cannot believe this. Why the hell you would let a paying costumer make a reservation when you're closed is absurd enough but you guys couldn't have told him they would shut everything down minutes after noon is beyond me. She didn't offer to help fix the problem by giving him another location or a phone number to call until I spoke with her and the freaking number she suggested I call { 1-800-654-4173 } is closed on the weekend. Thanks for leading us astray again you heartless woman. Eventually I found a number on my own and the person we spoke with was accommodating and helped us make another reservation 1/2 an hour away. She couldn't at least help us make that happen? No wonder this place has a terrible review. They should honestly have negative star reviews and that woman should not be working costumer service. She made it very clear that she does not understand what it's like to be completed screwed over and I hope that whoever reads this is wise enough to rent a car elsewhere.

    I had a great experience at the Hertz in Tigard. Everything was super easy, my car was great and Ali was really accommodating!

    **Terrible Experience at Highway 99 Enterprise - Completely Lacking in Compassion and Customer…read moreService** I want to warn others about the Highway 99 Enterprise location and their manager's appalling treatment of customers in difficult situations. After my car was broken into and my purse and wallet stolen, I was already traumatized and dealing with the exhausting process of replacing everything - closing bank accounts, getting a new driver's license, and filing police reports. When my car went to the shop, my insurance reserved a rental for me at this location. I called ahead to explain that I only had a temporary paper license from the DMV and offered to bring my passport and any other documentation needed. The Oregon DMV confirmed over the phone that my temporary license was completely valid. I even went into the local DMV office in person to see if there was anything else I could do, but they assured me that what I had should absolutely be accepted for rental purposes. The manager at Highway 99 flatly refused to help me. He insisted I needed a physical license with my photo - something the DMV explained would require me to start the entire process over and pay additional expedited fees (since they use a third party for processing and couldn't refund what I'd already paid). Throughout our interaction, this manager showed ZERO compassion. He spoke to me coldly and condescendingly, as if my situation was just an inconvenience to him. There was no attempt to find a solution or show any understanding for what I'd been through. When I asked if my husband could rent the car instead, he said yes but then incorrectly claimed I couldn't drive it without a physical license. This was completely false - my insurance confirmed that Oregon law allows me to drive any car I'm insured for with my temporary license. He was either ignorant of the law or deliberately misleading me. I left feeling defeated and violated all over again. This manager's cold, rude, and dismissive attitude made an already horrible week even worse. There appears to be no training in customer service or basic human empathy at this location. After calling a relative who works for Enterprise, I tried the Canyon Road location in Beaverton instead. The difference was night and day - they were sympathetic, accommodating, and even came to my house for pickup. They found a way to help me without any issues. **DO NOT use the Highway 99 Enterprise location if you have any complications or need understanding staff.** The manager there will not help you, will not show compassion, and will make you feel worse about an already bad situation. Drive the extra miles to Canyon Road or any other location - it's worth it to be treated like an actual human being. Zero stars if I could give it. Absolutely shameful customer service.

    When you rent cars at airport locations, it is typically a pretty smooth process. Yes, there will…read morebe upselling and constant suggestions that you should pay for their insurance, but they deal in volume and have the transactional elements down. Renting from a neighborhood location is a bit different. First of all, I have to say the employees at this location were swell. Apologetic for the delays and lack of options and tried to "make it right." So this review is not based on bad customer service, it is because this location feels set up for a lackluster experience. I made a reservation and arranged for billing a week in advance. I believe I am their typical customer, since everyone I know who has used this location is either getting their car repaired at the adjoining body shop or having their car serviced at one of Wilsonville's car dealerships. So when I walked in on a Tuesday morning at the appointed time for pick-up, I was surprised my car wasn't ready. When I say wasn't ready, I mean no cars were at the location. Period. It seems that they dispatch cars to this location based on reservations, rather than have a selection available for rental. So I wouldn't plan on being spontaneous. My car was finally ready about 30 minutes after the scheduled time and there were no choices. The car was pretty beat up, so when we did the walk around, the agent and I basically circled dents, dings and scratches on every surface. The seats were also dirty and the tank was empty. Boy, did I feel special. They told me I could try and exchange the car when they had more available, but when I called to do so, the timing never really worked out. My work schedule and their availability were never in sync.
