Huge mistake!! Since I got the car, it has been making a very concerning noise with the transmission. I'm worried the car is going to stall out while I'm on the freeway!! Since I am staying 40 minutes from the airport, I took the car to the enterprise location closest to me and requested a swap. Pretty standard no-frills not asking for an upgrade, just to swap to a car that feels SAFE at the very least. I was met at the counter with an attitude saying there is nothing they can do because there system is down, then they tell me they can't communicate with the airport location because they don't have a phone? I showed them the phone number on my contract, to which they said I should call them. Cut to me getting a half assed customer service call, no service from the actual location, late to my job site where I will now work in the heat since I wasted my time this morning. AND still in the horrible car!! Hugely disappointing thanks for nothing enterprise.

My car was clean on the inside and he explained that If the temp is colder that a specific degree then they don't wash the outside. The car was already warm inside and the service was great. Pro tip. If you place your reservation online then fill out the other from that gets emailed to you to enter your driver's license and all that then you simply walk in and hand them an ID and your driver's license and your done in 5 minutes. Budget also takes PayPal so you can double dip on rewards. There is a 250$ hold for incidentals.

Check-in and pick-up was very smooth. It's always great when they Sentras and Corollas available to rent. The return was good. However, on the return, I wish the signs to indicate which lane to turn into for the return would start sooner. I almost missed the turn off for the return once I got into the return garage. Also, I wish they would put side trash cans in the return lanes like they do in TPA. I would absolutely rent from this location again if I came back to MN.

There was a substantial line of customers waiting, yet only one person appeared to be handling check-ins. For a major airport rental location, especially during a busy travel period, this level of staffing is unacceptable and feels very unprofessional. Travelers arriving after delayed flights are already exhausted and trying to get to their destinations; having to stand in another lengthy line because the counter is inadequately staffed only makes the situation worse. Enterprise should anticipate passenger volume and staff the counter appropriately. A reservation should make the rental process easier--not become another major delay after a difficult travel day. Very disappointing experience.

I rented a car from Sixt at the MSP location from July 23-27. The car was decent, the pricing was…read morereasonable, and the check-in and pickup process was fast and efficient. Unfortunately, I had a major problem after returning the vehicle. On July 28, I received an invoice from Sixt for $614.25 for damage to the front passenger-side aluminum rim, described as a scratch. I am absolutely certain this damage did not occur while I had the vehicle. Unfortunately, I did not think to take pictures of all four wheels when I picked up the car. When I contacted Sixt to dispute the charge, I was told that Sixt was not required to provide proof that the wheel was in perfect condition when I received the vehicle and that documenting the condition of the car was my responsibility. As a result, they refused to remove the charge. This is extremely frustrating. I have rented cars from many companies over the years, but I have never experienced a situation where I was charged hundreds of dollars for damage that I am confident was already present--and then told that the burden was entirely on me to prove otherwise. My strong recommendation: use extreme caution if renting from Sixt. If you do rent from them, I strongly recommend taking a video of the entire vehicle before leaving the lot, along with individual photos of all four wheels/rims and every part of the exterior and interior. Do not assume that any existing damage will be properly documented by Sixt. The initial rental experience was fine, but the way this damage claim was handled has completely changed my opinion of the company. I will not be using Sixt again.
