I've had 2 facials at Heyday and both have been fantastic - shoutout to Alex and Britta! The environment is very relaxed, friendly, and clean. The facials are customized to your skin and your skin goals, which I love. My skin runs a bit dry so my goal is typically hydration. I always leave glowing! Both estheticians I've had also educated me on what products to use and how to use them most effectively, which has been a game changer to my skincare routine.

I had a really fun experience at Heyday yesterday. I can see why this place has received a lot of hype! It was bright and fun! All of the staff were extremely friendly, willing to answer questions and offer their recommendations. I loved the products offered in store (and during the facial) - brands like Tata Harper, Osea, Naturopathica, Josh Rosebrook, and Pai to name a few. Stephanie was my facial expert. She took the time to listen to my current skincare routine and concerns. I did the gua sha add on and it was so relaxing, relieving lots of facial and neck tension. I left Heyday glowing! I decided to sign-up for their membership since they are offering quite a few promotions right now. If you are wanting to treat yourself and your skin then this is it!

Amazing facial - I had Madeleine, she helped me through my skin issues and suggested different custom treatments and what we could do First walked into a beautiful appt (parking available outside) in Lincoln park. Greeted by the front desk to fill out an ipad questionnaire and ensure I don't have any allergies, rx exfoliants, pregnancies , or health issues they should know about Then walked into a 8 rooms (separated by large heavy curtains & walls) and sat in an electronic comfy chair that Madeleine was able to move backwards. She walked through any issues I may have and then proceeded to go through a : Oil  Cleanse with manuka honey Skin examination Gel cleanse with olive leaf  Microdermabrasions with a diamond tip Toner Extractions Hydro wand infusion with serum Red light therapy Hydraulic acid  Face cream with peptides Cooling stones Such a wonderful and educational experience. I learned a lot, she really taught me about the different types of exfoliants and what I should watch out for with dry skin. Love it! Sponsored, more on Instagram. @midwestmunching

Lincoln Park recently welcomed the opening of Heyday- a not so typical spa that focuses on facials. Vibe: If you think muted colors, dim lighting, quiet space when you "spa" - that's not at all what Heyday is like. Heyday is bright colors, pop music playing over speakers, and bright lights. It works here but an important call out so you know what you're getting. Services: Heyday is a facial spa. They create a personalized facial for each customer. This is not a massage and mani/pedi place. I enjoyed my treatment. My esthetician was knowledgeable and professional. She assessed my skin and gave recommendations on what she'd like to do. A couple of the items would be considered add ins and I declined those. My skin felt refreshed and rehydrated when I left. Price: At the time this review is written, Heyday is running a special to get your first facial with them for $70. The standard price at time of review is $135. There is an option to become member. And then you'd pay less per each facial. And get discounted add-ons. In my opinion, they're standard price (even as a member), is on the higher side. I still enjoyed my facial. Parking: there is a small parking lot that has parking at no cost! All in all it was a lovely facial.

I had such a good experience at Heyday! I came in for the new client price, but I'll definitely be back when I'm due for another facial.

We arrived about 30 minutes prior to our appointments to take advantage of a few amenities. The check-in and check-out processes did not go smoothly. The receptionists kept getting me mixed up with my sister, who was already escorted inside the wet facility. Then when we checked out, they were confused as to whom paid for our pool service food. Logistics aside, everything else about the experience was superb. The spa had everything I needed. The pool and jacuzzi were co-ed, but the womens' locker room had an herbal sauna, steam room, heated relaxation loungers, and showers. I got a 60-minute Chuan Harmony massage with Francisco. The massage was very relaxing, and aroma therapy was part of the treatment to balance your elements per Chinese medicine philosophy. Francisco was also very friendly and highly professional. I fell asleep during the massage, which was a win in my book. Lastly, the pool service food was excellent. One of my best friends got a margherita flatbread and chips with salsa and guac, and my sister got a poke bowl. I had the pleasure of picking at everything, which I all found delicious.

Very clean and spacious. The decor was beautiful and the waiting room area before you get your massage was so cozy! I was offered champagne and they had light snacks as well. I then had my massage, the only thing I'll say is that it was just okay. But I liked the finishing touch of them giving you a calming bead placed in the ear for anxious relief afterwards. I then followed up with spending the rest of the day enjoying all the amenities they had, and took a dip in the pool. I came here solo and had the best time!

I was greeted very warmly, pleasantly and professionally by Molly. Then I was transferred over to spa professional Tichina. She was very warm, bubbly and helpful. While I did not have a service she still took the time to provide me with a thorough tour. I utilized all amenities and enjoyed myself. I truly felt relaxed. Also liked the tea area and trail mix which was jut enough. I do look forward to returning and trying a service in the future. Only suggestion--I truly came for the steam room and relaxation. The steam was perfect except it the equipment can be checked out as when the mist would automatically come on during the process, the machine would make a loud, boom sound. I was dozing off and it this frightened me and certainly messed up the relaxation vibes.

It wasn't long at all before my smiling masseuse came to come and get me. Before I knew it I was laying face down getting the most relaxing massage I've had in a long time. This place serves at a high end level of excellence. My masseuse was very professional and just knew the perfect level of pressures to get all the knots, kinks, and stress print up on my back. This place lifts and floats you away from the business of the outside world and the whirls that swirl around inside your head. They know how to relax you to the max and send you off relaxed and recharged for the world. I hope to go back there sooner than later.

We didn't know…read morewhat to expect, but we were truly satisfied with the service we received, with one exception: the massage. After reading reviews dating back several months, I realized that other people had experienced the same issue. Let me start at the beginning. I made my reservation for a Sunday at noon. When we arrived, we were told that our reservation had been canceled. Naturally, I was confused because I hadn't canceled it. We were asked to take a seat while the staff looked into the matter, and they quickly figured it out. Brittany at the front desk did a wonderful job explaining what had happened. In the end, it turned out to be an error on my end, but she remained friendly, professional, and accommodating. She offered us another date and time and even compensated us for parking. Thank you, Brittany! The bath experience was everything I needed to cleanse my soul. The waterfall area and the eucalyptus sauna quickly became our favorite places. The atmosphere was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we had hoped for. Now, on to the massage. My wife and I were in the same room. She had a female therapist, and I had a male therapist. Unfortunately, our experiences were completely different. My therapist spent most of the session lightly rubbing my feet and legs. He never touched my hands, fingers, neck, or head, all of which my wife received during her massage. He did ask whether there were any areas I wanted him to focus on, and I mentioned that I had tension in my upper shoulder area and that I had a shoulder injury. He concentrated primarily on the injured shoulder and very little else. I was genuinely surprised when he told me the session was over. My first thought was, "Wait, where was the rest of the massage?" I would really like to see Aire invest in more experienced massage therapists, especially since this appears to be a recurring concern among guests. That said, the massage experience did not ruin our visit. I would absolutely return, and I would still recommend Aire to my family, friends, and coworkers.

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM…read more Use Caution when booking. I booked my reservation on May 23, 2026 for July 19, 2026 for my 11 year anniversary. Showed up and it was closed due to construction issues with the city. I received no email or phone call that it would be closed. Very embarrassing. I've called over 6x asking asking for a refund $720. Each time I've called it the same response "sorry someone from our management team will call you back". Nobody ever calls me back. I disputed the issue with my credit card company and AIRE responded to them saying that the service was complete forcing me to open another investigation with the city and having to look in legal counsel to take them to court. I am beyond frustrated. Never thought this is how they would do business. Apart of me feels that they lost so much business during the time they were "under construction" that they can't afford to keep the lights on let alone issue a refund. I would stay away.

We received an email before our visit asking if we would be able to switch our 10:30 appointments to 8:00 am or 11:45 am to accommodate another guest interested in services. Since we were visiting from out of town and had other plans, we were not able to switch to these times but eventually agreed to move to 9:15 even though it was not our preferred time. The attendants upon arrival were very friendly and welcoming. The eucalyptus steam sauna was closed for repair, which was not indicated when we booked. The dry sauna and hot tub were very small. As the morning went on it got incredibly busy. There were so many people waiting for appointments that there weren't enough chairs in the relaxation room, and it was very crowded by the vanity/mirrors and showers. Our treatments we good, not spectacular for the cost, but we expected expensive treatments on a busy weekend in Chicago. We were offered complimentary enhancements for switching appointment times-a face mask or eye mask. A nice touch but not nearly worth switching our plans around for. We had separate reservations to begin with but somehow when we were asked to move our reservation times, we were put on the same reservation. As a result, I was charged for my friend's service. We each made multiple calls to the spa to try to get it corrected. After at least four attempts to get it corrected over the phone, I emailed the spa. It took 8 days from when we were at the spa for them to begin processing a refund to my card. We were very surprised by all of this, especially at such a luxury spa.
