Only reason I gave them any stars was because the people that were nice. The food was awful. The pizza had like way too much cheese and not in a good way like just doused in cheese. I asked and paid for extra sauce which there wasn't then I wanted light cheese, which there wasn't The crust was spongy. It tasted like a bad version of Costco pizza with spicy sauce. They do not serve pizza by the slice here and everything needs to be ordered ahead. The pizza was decent. Not my fave but not the worst either. The crust was good...a lil chewy with a good flavor. I have now tried HFC Pizza twice through GrubHub & have not been disappointed. Their cheesesteak with onions is phenomenal (I hate sauce on a cheesesteak) & I am quite picky, but the flavor and consistency-ratio of meat to cheese is spot-on. Onion rings are yummy with just the right proportion of fried outer layer to onion (plus you get a lot)! Mozzarella sticks..how can you mess these up?!! Marinara sauce was flavorful. Garden salad..HUGE!! Packed with onions, sliced tomatoes, croutons; lettuce was fresh with no brown spots and they even included two garden salad dressing pouches (without me even asking). My first impression when I walked into the restaurant was that it was dirty and not well kept. We ordered three pizzas and they were very quick to make it, as well as pretty friendly. HFC is on Seamless, which is my usual ordering method for delivery. Delivery is not fast, but the food is worth it to me to plan ahead. Wings are awesome. Really flavorful, great sauces, nicely fried and truly jumbo. Pastas have all been good, easily two meals for me. The garlic bread with cheese is one of the reasons I keep coming back. It's essentially a sub roll, buttered and seasoned with melted mozzarella cheese. It sounds so basic, and I have no idea what makes it so good, but it is truly so so good. Cold subs are basic, but tasty. The pizza didn't wow me, but with so many other things on the menu, I'm not dissuaded by that. If you're in the Union Deposit area, give them a try locally. pizza is great BUT almost every time we get delivery it's 20-45 minutes later than estimated delivery time (which is normally 45 minutes). So worst case scenario takes twice as long to get it delivered - one time the pizza was lukewarm. We have had the delivery guy call with confusion on how to get here (apartment complex, not remote, 9 mins from store location) and trying to give step by step instructions and delivery guy has no idea where he is. DO THEY NOT USE GPS?!? We provided an address we can't be more specific. Will not order again. Last straw. For the past 6 months this has been our family's wing spot. Their spicy buffalo sauce is the best I ever had. I even ask for the buffalo sauces on the side when I order fries. This restaurant is halal - which is great. This is fast food so you get what you pay for. It's good halal version of fast food. Tasty. But I wouldn't call it "outstanding" like another reviewer. And I don't think it's my go to place for cheesesteaks. Saad's Halal in Philly is really good - and Douglass PIzza in Jersey is really good... this is so-so. The food is great but delivery sucks. It took an hour and a half to get my food. My food wasn't hot, my order was wrong and my soda was missing. And of course the wrong burger that I received cost less than what I actually ordered and paid for. 30 minutes after getting my messed up order, a 2nd driver returns with my soda and it's not even the right one. When I ask him for the right soda he said "that's all we have". ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! My first experience with this place was wonderful but this experience just put a bad taste in my mouth. The delivery driver couldn't find my address and treated me like that was somehow my fault. I received a small discount only after I implied that I didn't feel as if I should pay at all.
