Located in The District. Plenty of seating and tables. Games to play. Menu consists of fries, chicken etc . Staff friendly and French fries came out hot.

I've long felt that restaurants should sell Happy Meals marketed to adults, in colorful cardboard boxes like a real Happy Meal, but with beer instead of weirdly spicy Sprite. You can imagine my utter delight, then, when I was presented with an opportunity to purchase such a meal, as part of a promotion Hi-Pointe is running with 4 Hands, a local running group and a number of other local restaurants. The way it works is, you visit 10 of these restaurants in the span of about a month, purchase a menu item created in collaboration with 4 Hands, run for at least one mile and then post about it on social media. If you visit all 10, you get a case of City Wide, a t-shirt and a few other things that probably don't add up to the cost of the 10 menu items. I wasn't sure if I was going to bother, in part because it began while I was training for a marathon and I couldn't afford to be eating all of those sandwiches, ice cream and what have you, let alone the beer. Plus, who has that kind of money? But I was there, to meet up with another group I run with, so I figured I'd go ahead. If I changed my mind at a later date, I'd have to come back. I work nearby, but I'm not trying to visit the cursed District if I don't have to. With all due respect. Hi-Pointe's #CITYWIDE10 promotion had been running for two days at this point, but apparently no one had ordered it. A guy in the back who looked like a homeless version of Gilfoyle from Silicon Valley had to open a sleeve of the cardboard boxes. I would have refused to accept the meal, if it didn't come in the box, even if it still counted towards the contest, as a matter of principle. The Burg Box, as they're calling it, comes with a burger, fries, a 12 oz can of City Wide and a beer koozie--which I guess functions as the toy in this equation. Certainly, it could be used as a toy, if you're especially special-needs. A dog would have a field day with it. I could have used a 16 oz can of City Wide, but I couldn't complain too much, since it was pretty much free. I only paid $14.99 for the whole thing. They don't even let you eat the free peanuts at Five Guys for $15. Also, the bigger can might not fit in the box, and it was important that all the other patrons, including several girls, saw me carrying my meal to the al fresco dining section like a little suitcase. I hadn't had a burger from Hi-Pointe since the one on McCausland opened, back in the '70s. Now I'm wondering what I was thinking. Well, aside from not having any money. It might have been worth becoming one of those guys who stands around in Walmart and asks you who your cell phone provider is. The meat is seasoned to the point where even the most unemployed X f/k/a Twitter users would approve. The patented "smash burger" process produces a crust on its exterior like a classy well-done steak. It's a large enough piece of meat (no Diddy) that it both hangs over the side of the bun and isn't reduced to the consistency of shoe leather as a result of being flattened into the griddle. The fries are those seasoned fries you might get at a Rally's or somewhere. Which I guess you have to do if you're starting a restaurant, since there's no way you can go head-to-head with McDonald's and emerge victorious. Have you ever tried eating the fries at an In-N-Out? It's disgusting! The fact that Hi-Pointe didn't make this mistake just goes to show the thought they put into this operation.

I've been here several times. They always seem to be quite busy and the wait can get long standing in line. I highly recommend using their app. It makes things so much easier. On this visit, I ordered a taco burger subbing with an Impossible patty and I used the hi- deal that includes a side and a drink. I chose their delicious fries and a fountain drink. Unfortunately, when I ordered the taco burger, the cashier did not explain to me that when you sub it with an impossible patty, the fun stuff like the Doritos and Fritos don't come on it because it's actually mixed in with the beef. So that was a bit disappointing for me. The kitchen staff was very empathetic to my disappointment. My friend ordered the "Frycuterie board." What a delicious ensemble to share with the table. It includes their seasoned waffle, fries, tater tots, regular fries, and sweet potato tots, which are incredible. There are various dipping sauces that came with it. One thing that's nice about this location is the choice of eating indoors and grabbing a drink at the bar next-door or sitting outside in the courtyard with great people watching and/or entertainment on the stage or sports on the big screen.

What a treat! We stopped by the district for their car show and ended up at Hi Pointe for a much needed food break. The line was long but it moved quickly. You ordered at kiosk but they have a staff member close by to assist and she was very sweet and helpful! We ordered the ceasar salad with the fried chicken and double burger meal with fries and soda. The Ceasar salad was so good and the chicken portion was generous, it was filling and delicious. My partner ordered the double burger with fries and a soda. The burger was so good! Overall a really solid meal. You can opt to sit inside or outside.

Impossible Smash Burger. I ate some fries before the picture so it looks low. But I didn't eat a ton of them.

First night in St. Louis and after a big Chicago Bears win on Black Friday we were hungry. We decided to go to a place that we cannot get in Chicago or Dallas. This franchise is mainly located in Missouri with a couple in Illinois but none near Chicago. Hi Pointe is a Drive In type restaurant but this location is in an outdoor mall. You are able to create your own smash burger. I got the Impossible burger and fries. They also serve sandwiches: Turkey Club, Chopped Cheese, Chicken and Grilled Cheese Tacos. Salads and of course shakes. The impossible burger was tasty and it was a good size to fill you up. I got cheese, onions and tomatoes on it. If you don't like onions, tell them easy onions. I love onions, so I was good. The fries were good and had the right amount of salt, not too crisp but the right amount. I do wish they had given more. The place was clean and tables were cleaned immediately. There is a walk up bar as well! The place was busy and it was cold outside. I could imagine that this place would be packed in summer, especially with the fact that they serve shakes and ice cream. Next time in St. Louis, I will visit this place - especially if it is in the summer.

    Frisco Melt, fries, sauces

I was in St.Louis to attend a family celebration for my wife's aunt who recently passed. My niece's husband and I went for some beer at 4 Hands at the District. Fortunately for us, they had a Hi-Pointe Drive-In in one half of the venue. We were both hungry, so we went ahead and had lunch while we enjoyed our beers. I ordered the Frisco Melt. It has two huge hamburger patties, Swiss and American cheeses, and a special sauce on grilled sourdough. They had several other sauces, and I tried them all with my fries. It was a great patty melt. The fries were perfect. Unfortunately, I could only eat half of the meal.

Vegan Burger (The plant-based Impossible burger patty mimics the taste and texture of beef and is as satisfying.)

Hi-Pointe Drive-In at The District is a convenient place to dine if attending a show at The Factory. Arriving early or lingering afterward at any of the restaurants and bars in The District is a smart way to avoid the usual pre-show and post-show traffic rush. I was pleased with the vegan burger and fries. The plant-based Impossible burger patty mimics the taste and texture of beef, making it as hearty and satisfying. Substituting a gluten-free bun is $2.50, which feels slightly overpriced but is appreciated as an option. Iced tea, sweetened or unsweetened, is self-serve from containers near the soda fountain. Drinks come in paper cups with free refills. 4 Hands Brewing Co. shares the space, so you can have a beer alongside your meal. One improvement would be offering reusable glasses for dine-in beverages at Hi-Pointe Drive-In. Not only would this be more environmentally friendly, but it would also elevate the overall dining experience and align with the reusable glasses already used by 4 Hands Brewing Co.

For a counter service spot inside a larger establishment, this was a high quality and well executed meal. The greens & grain salad was delicious and a generous portion. Not pictured chocolate chip cookie tasted home made. Fries were so so. Staff was friendly.

Came for beers on a weekday evening and the place was packed! Hi Pointe is in the same indoor location with 4 hands brewery and there's also an arcade area. There's a traditional menu of burgers sandwiches and snack foods and also specials posted on a board. I LOVE the frycuterie idea! Definitely a must have to share with a table. We ordered a double burger, the frycuterie board, and a salad. Once you order at the counter you receive a number and they bring the food to your table which is a really nice convenience when you're hanging with friends & watching the games. All of the food was GREAT! Very fresh, cooked well and I love that the frycuterie came with dipping sauces. Will definitely be ordering more items from them next time I come!

Second time at this location and the food was much better than the last time. Double cheeseburger was really good and the fries were hot and perfect. A little pricey for counter service but also in the district so not terrible.

Came out to try the Hi Pointe for lunch on a Friday. We got there around 1130 so not too busy, ordered and grabbed a seat inside. (Lots of seating inside and out!) we took a number as they bring your order when it's ready, I. The mean time we mosied on over to 4 Hands for a drink while we waited. So we both ordered the cowboy burger and fries...WOW! What a great burger! Lots of fried onions, bacon, bbq sauce, yummmm! All cooked to perfection! And the fries were great too! They also had sweet potato tots , we will have to try those next time.... They had several burger choices, all looked amazing....we will be back to try the others...

Double Cheeseburger with all the toppings and onion straws. It was delicious

This is a sexy, upscale dinner option for Chesterfield. We started with the coal fried ciabatta, and it sounds crazy, but this bread alone merited a 5 star dinner. I've never had bread at a restaurant that managed to somehow be crispy and firm, but melt in your mouth at the same time. This is bread that's anything but overrated. Next, we shared the STL salad, a refreshing, light start to the meal that was perfectly balanced. For entrees, we shared a vodka pizza and the bolognese, both of which were stellar choices. The pizza had excellent char and the vodka sauce was a unique twist to a traditional pepperoni pizza. The bolognese was like a warm hug - super comforting.

Covered in sauce and a mozzarella cheese blend, these are one of only a few I order out - good meaty flavor with sauce and not overpowered by a parmesan or other cheese I don't like. I ate these without the mozzarella and they are so good. For dinner I went with Vodka pizza, Vodka sauce base, buffalo mozzarella, basil, and pepperoni. Great flavors together with a little kick. I love wood fired pizza and this is one of my favorites. Busy place, we made a reservation. Great food and staff!

The pork chop was the perfect entree to accompany these sides. The brussel sprouts were charred and crispy. The balsamic glaze paired nicely with the charred flavor. This is a bowl with mixed veggies and double protein. Depending on the protein there is an up charge for each. The tenderloin steak was $3.50 to upgrade. But I wanted to try. The flavor was very good but you get probably less than an ounce of meat, at least that's what I would say was in this bowl. It was an extremely, extremely small portion. And it was in tiny little chopped up pieces. The grilled chicken was a $1.50 upgrade. Even that was maybe 2 ounces max of sliced chicken. To get all steamed broccoli instead of a mixed veggie is $0.75. That was fine. There was tons of broccoli. Compared to other places with a similar style, healthy options fast, I think you're getting a little less "bang for your buck". The bowl was flavorful and tasted good. But I feel like for all the charges based on your protein selection, there should be at least a normal portion. The service at this location was fine. No one really greeted me or said anything to me at all. They were very busy during lunch. They only seemed to engage with people who ordered in store. I ordered online and my bag was shucked onto a shelf without even calling the name out even though a lot of people were waiting for their orders. You had to go up and check the bags for your name every time they put an order on the shelf if you placed it online. Again, not bad. Not good. Just nothing special. This is a great option if you're needing something quick and relatively healthy. My order didn't take long from placing to pickup. The "sauce bar" is now a grab and go fridge which is a nice upgrade and much more germ friendly. The store was clean and I had no complaints there. I just think the pricing for portion compared to the old menu and portions was a surprise!
