We really enjoyed this place! It's all you can eat & you get to pick your own meats from the bar. Unlimited!! I love the fact that they label the bar so you know what to use for the BBQ & hot pot. There's an array of fresh vegetables & seasonings. The decor is modern & beautiful. Our waitress made sure to check on us from time to time in order to refill our waters & hot pot. Oh! The hot pot flavors were so good!! I chose the bone broth & it had so much flavor that I was content with just drinking it. I did eventually add garlic & green onions. When I added shrimp & bokchoy it elevated the experience. Oh! They also have fresh crab legs, oysters, mussels, & clams. I can't pinpoint any one dish for the bbq that I enjoyed the most, but the bulgogi & short ribs were amongst the top choices. Highly recommend you try it out.

Best food in the Myrtle Beach area! Service was also great. If you are with a big group, I suggest getting a table with 2 grills if you can. It's buffet style, so you go up and get everything you want and cook it on the grills. The hotpot broth options are also really good, so far I had the original and mushroom. Short ribs were also on point! Definitely my favorite meat option. Cucumber kimchi was delicious! 5 stars for great food, great service, great price for all the food you get, and there aren't many places open late night in the area so that's a plus!

If you've never been here, you're absolutely missing out. My wife and I are total foodies and have been to quite a few different Korean bbq restaurants, and HI POT absolutely takes the cake. Amber, our server was awesome! Very attentive, yet personable and made it a very good experience. The food tastes very fresh and us seasoned perfectly right out of the gate! The atmosphere is awesome! Restaurant is very clean, with subtle background music. Did I mention how good the Thai tea is!? Good lord!! Lol Anywho, this place is "MUST GO", if you've never been.

My friends and I tried this Hi Pot and AYCE and it was delicious. So many varieties of meats and side dishes. I would recommend the hot pot and AYCE, save your appetite because you want to eat what you paid for. I believe some people will say it's pricey, but I've been to numerous AYCE/hot pot and it's about the same price range. This place was crowded and I'm glad we went early. There was a line out the door when we were almost done and it appears/seemed the waitress wanted us to be done so they can clear the table for others. Just take your full 2 hr limit to eat what your heart/stomach desires and not worry about anything else. They can wait. Lol.

Our server was very helpful in helping us make selections and combinations to enjoy.

Wonderful place everyone needs to try this place. We had lunch and it was delicious. The staff and server were so welcoming and warm.

Korean bbq and hot pot restaurant. It's a little different from other Korean restaurants I've been to, because it has a buffet of all the ingredients that you can use to build your hot pot or bbq. The options are all you can eat bbq, all you can eat Hotpot, or all you can eat combo with everything. Everyone at the table has to get the same thing. We got the combo because we wanted to try it all. I've enjoyed Korean BBQ many times, but I am less familiar with the hot pot. I loved the opportunity to pick out just the meat I wanted and as much as I wanted for the bbq. The hot pot had so many choices, it was kind of crazy. They have six different bases for the hot pot. I got the mushroom, which was delicious. But I was more focused on the BBQ, because that's what I know and love. This place was so good, all the meats had a delicious marinade and were tender. The options of sauces and sides was plentiful. The restaurant is pretty new, and it was very clean and nice inside. The waitress and the host - maybe the owner - was very nice.

Me and my sister visited Hi Pot today for the first time, It's our first hot pot and korean bbq experience. Our waitress Amber did an amazing job explaining the process. She was super bubbly and kind, very conversational, she checked on us enough to feel cared for and not smothered. All the meats were delicious, definitely recommend the spicy soup broth, definitely coming back.

Just grab a few while you wait for your food... It was a pleasure coming here. I spoke with the owners and really enjoyed the conversation. Service was excellent just like the food. The Korean Fried Chicken with the spicy gochujang sauce (not really spicy but very flavorful) is awesome! I had it with a bowl of white rice. As a courtesy the owners let us sample some kimchi. The mild version. I guess they thought we couldn't handle the spice. They didn't know that I'm a SPICEmatician! Bring it on... I found out that they serve pork belly. Was craving some for over a month now. Will have to come back for that. Pause from reading this and set your GPS to this location to grab a bite to eat. Let them put a little spice and flavor in your life. You certainly won't be disappointed. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere... Try something different. Go to Mura Restaurant, Bar and Cafe. P. S. They have karaoke! No shower for you to sing in but it's there.

I will say, the bibimbap is quite good and I was not disappointed in the flavor or quality of that dish, but my husband's pork katsu was so small and absent of meat that it looked like fried pork skin. See photo attached. I was drawn to Mura because I love Korean food, but also because of the conveyor belt. There were NO fresh foods on the conveyor belt....only a few prepackaged cookies or desserts. Super sad. The server was also extremely curt with us on both visits. My husband visited with me once and a friend the second time, both commenting on how little hospitality he showed. The environment is definitely not a bring your friends and chat place. There are only bar seats in front of the conveyor belt......with nothing on it. The final piece I'll add is the price for what you get is unreasonable. And I believe I may have been charged the wrong thing? I just left it alone, but it definitely was confusing. I ordered the stone bowl bibimbap which noted 12 plus 6 dollars for a fried egg. I assumed my total was 18 and it came to 22. No where on the menu does it differentiate between stone bowl and whatever the other cheaper option was. Not the biggest issue; if the food and service had been different I'd probably not have thought so much about it. When I brought up the difference to the server, he continued with his curt approach. The bibimbap was good, like I mentioned, but I'd just order it to go if I wanted it.

Every visit was consistently excellent. One of the things that really stood out to us was the variety on the menu. Whether you're craving Korean dishes, sushi, burgers, seafood, or tacos, there truly is something for everyone. The prices were also very reasonable, making it a great option for both tourists and locals. During our visits, we tried fried flounder, sushi, sashimi, chicken hibachi, smash burgers, and a crispy chicken sandwich with a large portion of tender chicken. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The sushi was especially memorable, and we found ourselves ordering the spicy tuna more than once. Happy hour was another highlight. The food and drink specials offered great value, and we loved sitting on the porch enjoying the live music. Our only disappointment was that the music wrapped up at 7:00 p.m. We would have happily listened longer. We also stopped by on Taco Tuesday and sampled the El Pastor, Tasty Tacos, and The Winner. All three were delicious, but the El Pastor tacos were definitely my favorite. I enjoyed them so much that I ended up ordering three of them! If you're visiting the Myrtle Beach area, be sure to add Lava Korean Steakhouse to your list of places to try. If you're local, this is absolutely a restaurant worth supporting. Great food, friendly service, reasonable prices, and a menu that keeps you coming back to try something new.

We recently tried ART Burger Sushi Bar and unfortunately had a pretty disappointing experience…read moreoverall. Starting with the positives: the chicken and mac & cheese sushi roll was actually really good. It's definitely a unique combination, but it worked and we were pleasantly surprised. We also liked that you could see the beach from inside the restaurant, which made for a nice atmosphere. Now for the negatives. From the moment we sat down, we didn't feel very welcomed. Our server seemed annoyed that our party of six sat at a booth, even though two of those seats were for our 2-year-olds who were sitting between us. It really wasn't a full "six adults" situation. We originally wanted to order the mozzarella wontons, but were told they were sold out of mozzarella, so we took the server's suggestion and ordered the chicken mac & cheese sushi roll instead. When it came out, we actually thanked her because it was good and we were glad we tried it. When we ordered appetizers, we also ordered the kids' meals right away. Our appetizer came out, then we placed our dinner order: two burgers and two sushi rolls. The kids' meals came out first, which made sense since we ordered them early. Then the two burgers came out. The problem was that the people eating the burgers were basically finished with their meals before our sushi rolls ever arrived and we noticed other tables who ordered sushi after us were getting theirs first. We weren't given any updates about the delay, and when we asked about it, the explanation didn't make sense considering other sushi orders were coming out before ours. By the time my sushi finally arrived, everyone else at our table had already eaten. The kids were getting restless and we needed to leave, so I ended up asking to have my sushi boxed up instead of eating it there. The service was honestly the most disappointing part of the experience. Our server felt dismissive and irritated throughout the meal, and at one point my husband had to step in because of how she responded to a friend who was simply raising concerns about the food timing. I was really excited to try this place, and I'm honestly glad we didn't go here for my actual birthday dinner two days earlier, because it would have been a very disappointing celebration. Between the lack of hospitality and the poor service, it just wasn't a great experience for us.
