I have a bad experience when I brought my Jeep and my RV to the HAIL SPECIALIST SHOP. They are not doing professional jobs about work on my vehicle. And also not very good about keeping time and promises. They release my RV when is doesn't look good. They have to redo again 2nd time. Now my Jeep is still in the shop for almost a month. The insurance already paid the shop over 5K and they still asked for more. They refused to release my Jeep until they get all the money. I am very frustrated please tell me what to do? read more

My bumper was hit by someone and needed to be replaced. About four other companies quoted me approx. $250+ more than Hi-Tech. Eugene was very helpful and accommodating. The bumper was ordered and painted, and it only took an hour to install on Friday at noon. Eugene allowed me to see the paint swatches before ordering and underneath the bumper when it was removed. I really appreciated that because I wanted to see the matched paint myself and if there was any damage done under the bumper. I didn't want to spend a lot on a name brand part, but the after market bumper they used looks great and brand new. Great customer service and quality of work! I drove through a bad hail storm in Indiana with golf-ball size hail stones. My NEW car had huge dents all over it and even a cracked windshield. I brought my car to them (even though they OFFERED to pick it up from my place or where ever convenient!) and they brought my car back to the NEW condition that I purchased it as only a couple months before this damage. 2010 I bought a new Acura TL and at two months old was vandalized. Had a small dent in the hood of my van with a silver dollar size paint chip that began to rust around the edges. Also a key scratch on the side. A different body shop wanted $1200 for the repair. Was not close to paying the kind of money. Went to Hi Tech and explained I was just looking for an inexpensive paint touch up. No problem. Said it would not look as good as a full dent and paint repair. I explained just a paint touch up would be fine. Kept the car overnight so they could do an undercoat, paint and clear coat. Very bad customer service. Ruined my car. I took my my car to get fixed front end and hood. After week i picked up my car and everything was alright. Few days later i drove my car at the night time and i noticed my head lights are to different colors. Right side is kinda greenish which they changed. So i took it next day they to them and told them right. They say they cannot do anything about it. Whatever dealer send they put.(it's like lottery or gambling )they explained. They don't wanna do thing about it. Didn't care at all. Recommended me buy another headlight probably gonna receive same color as other one(stupidities thing ever heard). Came here yesterday with my friend to fix our dents. The place I go to before closed down, so I was looking for new PDR places on Yelp and came across here. I came here without an appointment and they took both of us without any issues, which is nice of them because most places will just give you a quote and tell you to come back another time if you show up without an appointment. Anyway, when we got there, the manager walked out and saw both our cars and quoted us $120 each for both of our dents. My dent was small, but I knew it would cost a little more because it is right by the brace, where the metal meets metal, so it would be harder to fix. My friend told him $200 for both and he agreed right away. They took his car into the back and did a really good job on his dent. Took about 20 minutes to fix his dent and it was back to looking brand new. However, my car took about 35 minutes and the PDR tech came out to talk to the manager in their language. I noticed he made a hand gesture that meant "there is still a little bit" that he couldn't fix. The manager told me to go back and take a look at my car saying everything is done. Now here is the part that I am not satisfied about. I am not sure if this is suppose to be a shady business, but I surely got that impression after all that. I walked to the back and the dent is fixed about 95% and you can still see it just a little bit. I am fine if you tell me you can't get it back 100%, but he gave me the impression that everything was good and perfect. He got into my car quickly and drove it to the lot, leaving me without much time to inspect it inside. I talked to the PDR tech who worked on my car and he was extremely nice. I don't question his skills one bit because he had been doing it for years. He told me that's the best he can do it because of the spot where the dent was located. After walking outside to look at the dent some more, I noticed it wasn't perfect, but a good 95% fixed. Now, the place I go to before, if they cant fix it, you don't pay for it, or you get a major discount. I paid the full $100 and didn't bother complaining, but I don't think I am going back here in the future. read more

The work done repairing the hail damage on my car was good, but lacked total quality. The dents were leveled out fine, but small paint chips are still visible through the clear coat. The clear coat was also scratched with a buffer, evident by the circular pattern. Customer service is not a focus, some calls not returned, and with over $8,000 worth of work done, most body shops would detail or at least wash your car. My interior had dirty handprints. So the work was adequate, just don't expect a "polished" service experience. read more

I had an insurance claim for hail damage and took it to Hi tech because they are a certified shop with my insurance company and the reviews above looked good. I didn't have as much luck. They had my car for over two weeks and it took me calling them to find out that they were frustrated and waiting on the insurance company to come through with a supplemental check, as they had supposedly found more damage. I went back to the shop to talk with them in person to try to figure things out. The manager refused to tell me how much more they were charging and just kept bad mouthing my insurance company. He was frustrated, I get it.. So I called my insurance company myself after I got home and they told me they were just there and dropped of a check for them. I must have just missed them. Soooo, then I call Hi tech back and they claim they never got a check. ???? So I said, "OK, well let me know if the check turns up, they told me they were just there." So the next day, within 8 hours later I get a random call from their mechanic telling me my car is ready. OK?? Upon picking it up, I saw my car outside and took a look. The repairs did look great... but more headaches were to come. Their were damages on my car concerning replacing molding that I did not care to have repaired. The insurance company already issued me a check and told me that I had the right to refuse any repairs that they estimated. I was very clear with Hi Tech from the get go about this, and they agreed. However, now that the work was done, the manger was trying to swindle me out of that money. In fact looking back through all of this paper work, I still think they ripped me and my insurance company off. Then, to make it ever worse, he was refusing to use my debit card, as that is where I had the insurance money. He wanted me to go get him cash, which wasn't really an option for me at the time. So then he finally agreed to use my card and just went on and on about how I'm making him loose money by using my credit card.. THE NERVE OF THIS GUY! So to wrap it all up, I notice later after picking up my car that there is a 3 inch DEEP GOUGE in my passenger side door towards the bottom of it where I did not originally notice when I looked over their repairs. Went to have four various dents removed. Two on doors one "line" shaped dent just above the wheel well and one on the edge of my trunk. After receiving an estimate I haggled and got $20 bucks taken off the price. Good Work! The tech was as pleasant as ever...but, boy watch out for the guy in front...he's a tough cookie when haggling. Would go back again for any future dent removal only because I like to haggle and the workmanship is sufficient. Living in the city has rewarded me with a good amount of dings on my car doors, bumper, and even hood. Its a black car, so things are seen clearly. I had been obtaining quotes for the work, and stumbled upon Hi Tech. I could not have been happier. Not only was the estimate very reasonable, all the work was done fairly fast. The manager addressed some other issues I had going on with the car, and even put in perspective for me the things that needed to be addressed immediately and what can be held off (hey, we all need to budget ourselves). When they took me in the shop to see what the technician had done with the dings I couldn't believe how great it looked. The damage had disappeared.
