Service was good, services were nice and very attentive to dishes and needs. However, this establishment is a sorry excuse for a buffet. I but into a piece of chicken was as tough as rubber and as dry as the Sahara desert. The only good things about the buffet were the noodles, cake, and fried shrimp out of the dozens of food options. The fried chicken was so salty it felt like eating ocean water morphed into a brick. The chocolate puffs were as dry as a popeyes biscuit and proceeded to soak up all the moisture in my mouth, making me audibly gag. The salmon was drowned in a mayo to mask its incredibly dry and bland flavor of the actual fish. It was incredibly dry beyond belief that it felt like I was eating drywall. The Mongolian beef was similar, though it was like chewing a tire, flavor though was fine. Yes, this place is cheap but not worth it at all. Cooked food is barely warm. Orange chicken and sesame chicken and the rest of the chicken is dry and hard. About one of the worst places i have eaten. Not much good to say. The restrooms are dirty, the food sits in a steam table and im sure a lot of it is below safe temperature,. and not tasty! I did NOT care for my visit here. I was not greeted real politely at all. So, from the get-go things were kinda off. Then, my family was seated but initially we were going to be broken up into several smaller groups. NOPE. We explained when we got there that we needed to be seated together. The 2 people who charged us for our meal, I swear they were just children. I understand that maybe this was their family business but it looked real odd and made me actually feel kinda uncomfortable. I HATE that they charge little kids, even the littlest ones. My daughter is 3 but she eats very little and is actually the size of a 1 year old. NO JOKE! They charged me 1/2 price for her and she didn't eat a bite. She was NOT interested in their food at all. Walking around the food stations was disgusting. People used serving utensils from other dishes all throughout the serving platters and trays. I couldn't eat there because I feared I'd have a cross contamination issue, not just a little cross contamination but tons and I'd just end up sick. Also, the food didn't seem all that fresh. The rice in sushi was falling apart. Some of the sushi pieces looked like they'd been picked up and put back. NO THANKS. Lots of people were kinda pushing, shoving and fighting over entrees. I'm not sure if it was because there was no orderly fashion in which these people approach these food stations or what. Their ice cream station was packed full of terrible children who climbed into the frozen stand to get what they wanted. It was terrible. There are signs all over the place that ask parents and other supervising adults to watch these children as they want ice cream. I think they need to have some other sort of system for this or to have an appointed few staff to help with this as it is messy, looks horrible with kids sticking themselves and used scoopers into the containers everywhere, etc. The restrooms were filthy. I can't say that I'm surprised. Everything about this place was just dirty. I started out with trying a plate of steamed rice and some green beans. The rice was dry and hard. The beans were over cooked, flavorless except for bites of what tasted like MSG. MSG is used to enhance flavor. Umm, that means that there has to be flavor present in the first place. That wasn't the case. After the rest of my family was done eating here, they all complained of feeling sick. I'm not surprised. This was just disgusting. I will NOT be returning. read more

Well, first of all, place is located in the deserted shopping center looks like closed for business. Weeds were grown in the parking area, asphalt ground were damaged with lots of pot holes and trashes were everywhere. Second, they raised buffet price but menu items were less. More than $20.00 with the tax for Chinese buffet is not worthy. And final, considering everything else food wasn't good. Always giving this place the benefit of doubt but seems to always disappoint. Although the customer service and ambiance of the place is decent and cleaner than most asian buffets, I wish the taste of foods were at least comparable. Went here today for lunch and it seems it will be my last time going here unfortunately. The food seems to always be stale as if it was just warmed up from the past few days. It's either hard, very dry and lack any seafood flavors that seafood entails. Sometimes it's a hit and miss. Didn't finish really anything on my plate. Salmon was very rough and the sauce at the top was thick and sour. Walnut shrimp were extremely hard and oily and wings were very crisp w barely any meat inside. Buffet restaurants are a rarity in the Pacific Northwest. Almost all of them serve Chinese or generic "Asian" food. The Hibachi Buffet is higher quality than most, and offers a good selection. I did not try the Mongolian Grill, which seems to be a specialty. I got stir fry and fried dishes from the buffet. It was all pretty tasty. A slightly unusual addition here was garlic Texas toast, which is like kryptonite to my willpower, and even from the buffet it hit the spot. As is typical of these kinds of buffets, the dessert selection is varied and pretty good. I had the ubiquitous jello, sugar buns, and sesame balls, and also a tiny cream puff and another little pastry that I've forgotten the exact form of. The true measure of buffet success: I left stuffed and satisfied, and I had no problems the next day. Other things that they offer that I didn't try: - Seafood, including what appeared to be a very popular steamed or boiled crayfish, or maybe some kind of whole shrimp in the shell. - Various meatballs and meat on skewers. - Hard ice cream in a variety of flavors (this is probably generally considered a classier choice than the more traditional soft-serve machine, but I admit I was a little sad I couldn't finish with an extruded vanilla cone). It was not cheap, but nothing is these days. If you come to eat a lot (and why else would you come to a buffet?!) it's still a pretty good deal. read more

March 17, 2023 11am So most of the food is good, a few of the items like anything with BEEF, you can taste the low quality of beef, so I stay away from those items .. the chicken, fish are ok but it's all buffet food... it's all kinda kept warm, restocking is fast and they try to keep things clean and neat ... The servers really try and work hard for their money, I kinda think they're a little under staff but who isn't nowadays... But I feel they work hard and hopefully people see that and leave them a decent tip... We been there twice over the last 3 weeks and both times felt the same, so thats good, we know what to expect... not sure whats the difference is between lunch and dinner, guess we might have to give it a try and see if it's worth the extra money ? New owners suck! There usually was a very pleasant happy to see you lady as you walked in. I moved out of the area and haven't been there at least a year or so. I stopped by today to make me a plate lunch. Guy at the counter was so crabby. I was getting to-go so I cared less, until he charged me almost 20.00 for a my container. It costs 14.00 (lunch) to sit and eat there!!! I questioned why so much he points at the 2pieces of shrimp I had and decided to charge the ALL SEAFOOD price. I said that I'd rather just sit and eat then. He then scolded me saying that only this time he will charge me less. Although this place is pretty affordable compared to the other buffets, their food need lots of attention. Sometimes I wonder if it's just me but it really is bland and their ice creams taste milky and just not to their flavor. My biggest complaint was all of the food was bland and without flavor. From the French chicken to the Noodles Etc., everything just was flavorless compared to other Puget Sound Buffets. You can only use one discount, which I can understand but find very cheap of these people. We had three seniors and wanted to mention that but the lady insisted we can only use the 10% off. It's a cheap chinese buffet. Perfect for a large party. There were 17 of us and we were able to make a reservation easily on the phone for the same day. Their food is pretty solid. There wasn't really anything that I had that I felt that was horrible. Some dishes that were worth mentioning: * fried chicken - they are seriously good. Holiday buffet, (Easter) I would not call the food here excellent however to honestly and importantly to put it this way it's better than the food that I have had on some cruise ship ledo decks thus, very good very impressive for price to quality ratios. The atmosphere and nature of the place is very open ended casual, approachable and comfortable. I really like this place a lot and always have nice experiences here. Plenty of sushi rolls, a Mongolian grill station where you can make your own plate, a wide variety of seafood (salt and pepper crab legs, oysters, shrimp, etc), and so on... Lots of fresh fruit.. And then there is an ice cream freezer with about six barrels of different flavors. You scoop out your own ice cream... This is kind of gross because of all the kids who roam free and stick their hands in there lol... Anyway, overall it was one of my favorite Chinese buffets.
