This place is a good place to eat if you enjoy hibachi or Asian food. It's a buffet so you get buffet quality food but it is good for what they charge. It's not too bad. The sushi is good also. You can see the chef preparing the sushi before it's set out. The grill is seine too. You get to spode all of your ingredients or you can choose s simple steak. The choice is yours. Loved this place! I went with my fiance on a Tuesday, after work, it was pretty dead when we went. The food here was pretty good. I wish I was hungrier when I went so I could try more things, but I enjoyed most of the things I tried. The things I didn't enjoy was more because of my personal preference, not the quality of the food. Everything was fresh, and was at a good temperature, nothing was too hot, but it didn't taste like it had been sitting out forever. The restaurant was very clean, and our server was very attentive. There are so many options of food to try (and they have some American food, if you're going with friends or kids who may not be willing to eat sushi or Chinese food). And so much of it was good, so even if you don't like something, you're bound to find plenty of things you do enjoy. And probably the best part of it is you're not stuck with something you don't like, being a buffet and all. And the price is great too, $12.99 I believe it was, not including drinks. That's just a little over what we would spend each at a normal restaurant, but for so much less food. I think it's around $8.99 a person during lunch hours. I had this place bookmarked for months. For me driving into Riverside is like going to a foreign country. I tend to drive to cities west of Corona. The good/the great about Hibachi Grill Buffet: This place is super-clean and all employees, from Hosts to waiters, food people, busboys and cashiers very helpful and very friendly. Not always the case for Chinese restaurants. Even the first Thursday evening i walked in, the place was packed. A good sign, meaning fast turnover of food and fresh food. Four (4) kinds of soup both for lunch and dinner, their hot/sour excellent. Excellent and wide selection of fresh sushi/sashimi that one can watch being prepared right there. Baked mussels (rarely seen these days anymore in Chinese buffets) and wide selection of seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes. Hugh crab legs with the tray being constantly refilled, even during the week. Steak - you select your piece, one piece at a time - then cooked to order. Not to forget, excellent barbecued ribs. Also Polish sausage and pizza. Wide selection of salads, fresh fruit and cake/dessert including multiple Thrifty ice cream varieties, the very best of all ice creams. I've already been here a handful of times and have not had a lick of bad service and the food has always been prepared to standard. I think the one and two star people have not visited other Chinese buffets in the area or outside of the area and do not realize how good this one is. I've travelled from Anaheim to Palm Springs and Ontario. There's one in Ontario that can surpass this place, but this one is great! This was a terrible restaurant. The service was horrible the guy only refilled our drinks once. I fried rice wasn't fried hard enough. The sushi was little to none and what was there looked as if it had been sitting there since lunch. We were there at 8pm mind you. They had no bowls but had ice cream and soup. I've been here multiple times and it seems as though the quality has gone downhill, I see reviews about mold on the food, a TOOTH in the sushi and etc. Idk what happened to this place, the staff used to be so nice and caring. My past 2 experiences included me not being able to at anything since I'm allergic to shrimp there was shrimp in almost everything I wanted to eat so I decided to get a steak but unfortunately the grill was out of order and they cooked it on the same flat top as the noodles (also shrimp) so I ended up having to give it to my boyfriend and was only able to eat ice cream, very disappointing, the other time had rude staff and when it came time for the check they wouldn't come get it from us for 30 minutes so we decided to just take it up front to pay and were immediately cornered by multiple waiters saying we still have to pay and when we explained we were going to pay up front they took the check from us to pay for it, idk what that was all about but it didn't feel great lol anyways, we were planning to eat here again tonight but I checked reviews to see if anything has changed and it seems as though things have changed but not for the better read more

I think I ate cream cheese wontons and vegetarian dishes since the meat was dry and unappealing. Dinner was $13 99 for Adults and worth the money! there were crab legs with butter all the Chinese dishes that you're used to eating, sushi rolls, baked mussels, cooked fish, wonton soup, miso soup, clam chowder, salad bar lots of fresh fruit and the Mongolian BBQ station plus so much more.. they even have four or five Big 5 gallon tubs of Rite Aid ice cream where you can actually Serve Yourself Just Let at Ride Aid! Very friendly staff as well! The only unpopular thing for us was that we have a very picky 10 year old eater and the pizza was not up to his standards, the fries were good, the banana pudding he liked and the fried donutd as well but there wasn't really a big selection for kids if they are picky like mine read more

So super weird review coming. 2 stars because the food, or what I ate of it wasn't bad. I was only about 5 minutes into my meal when my two year old son reached into the napkin holder on the table for a "nakin" but somehow got his finger stuck and sliced it open on the empty metal container. Freak accident, I know. Not the restaurants fault, I know. My concern is not the incident happening, but how the staff handled it. My son was crying and bleeding all over the place. Blood in a restaurant is never good and should have caused a lot more seriousness than what came . A waitress came and asked if he wanted some ice cream. Seriously? I'll pass, this time. I rushed him to the men's room to try and rinse off the wound, but the restroom was filthy. Water all over the floors. Trash all in the place. So I'm leaning my son over and in walks a male waiter and he has a couple bandaids. I asked him for a towel but I don't think he understood me. So I'm cleaning my sons hand up and have him sitting in the counter and I'm trying to dry him off with paper towels. He's finally calm and leaning his hand over the sink. In walks the waiter again...with more paper towels. Like, dude, I had those already, from right here in the bathroom. As I turn to grab more from the paper towel dispenser, he pulls out a rubber band, takes my sons hand and wraps a wad of paper towels over the wound and seals it with the rubber band. Of course, my boy screams. WOAH!!!! Don't touch my kid and don't try and give him first aid while you still have your nasty apron on and no gloves. I told him sternly to leave and I would handle it. I cleaned my son up best I could and returned to my table to get my things and my wife so we could leave to the hospital. We told our waitress we had to go. So she quickly brought us our check and I was bit shocked. Like, hey this sucks guys, but don't forget your bill! It's an accident sure, but it was an empty napkin holder in your restaurant that did the slicing. We had to pay full price for a meal we ate less than half of. As we were leaving, a girl who claimed to be the manager came and gave us an envelope in it. We grabbed it and left, but opened it later in the car. It was a coupon for one free lunch buffet...a $9 value. Keep your $9. Folks, we won't ever come back to your place. It's not your fault that he sliced his hand, but the way you handled it was chaos. Don't ever touch someone else's kid, don't ever try to administer first aid like that, and for Gods sake, don't charge someone for their whole meal. Have some better business tactics. Went here today. Buffet has a good variety. Wife got excited cause of the blue crabs. Reminds me of Vegas. I tried the stuff I never had before. Frog legs and squid. They had some spicy oysters with red and green stuff that was good. I don't think there is an option like this in Riverside on this scale. Usually this place does well, but this last time I went ended as a disaster. Every time I have gone they have me go up to counter when I'm done eating to pay. This caused me to do the same and the waiter started yelling at me as if I was trying to walk out. I sit down and was debating on whether to give him a tip or not since he had not taken our plates all meal and was neglectful. After he comes back and is just standing very close to the table and blocking my path out(as if he was saying give me your tip).
