Hibachi chicken and shrimp with fried rice.
    Kimberly W.

Looks are deceiving because when I open the container. I was like, OK!! I've ordered from here a few times. Average food, but today was the worst! The fried rice tasted months old, and as I kept digging through with my fork in the hibachi chicken and shrimp and something about the taste was completely off. Will not and can not give them another opportunity. Food is too expensive to be thrown away, and that's exactly what I did. Such a travesty!

Hibachi salmon adding shrimp. It is so yummy!

The first time, I came here for dinner , the place is kind of 'take out' restaurant. It is good food and price. The staff is friendly. I recommand this place for quick dine and quiet place.

There are a few stores every town has, big or small: Wal-mart, McDonald's, and fast Asian food restaurant called "Hibachi Express." Seriously. Pull up Google Map and see how many "Hibachi Express" are in your town? So if you have been to similar Hibachi place, you should know the deal: small store, set course lunch specials, your choice of chicken or beef or shrimp, plus the ultimate decision: do I want the white sauce, or the ginger sauce? All that, and authentic Asian guy behind the plexiglass with paper hat and funny apron making a racket and cooking up a storm. Tell me that I did not just describe your Hibachi place too. One cool thing about this here however, is the fact they keep the soup self-serve, inside a thermo tea dispenser. Sure it's nothing spectacular, just your standard clear beef broth, but still the fact to be able to getting your own soup, with thinly sliced mushrooms and green scallions on the side, is pretty neat. Besides that deal, this is a decent simple and quick "grab your takeout and go back to work" kind of place, but of course they have seats inside should you spare five to ten minutes away from your work or errands. P.S. I think that Grand Opening sign has been hanging for a while, so I don't know when the specials will ends, but if you are getting your hibachi on in the next few days, try to get the Manager's Hibachi Special, complete with drink and soup: veggie $6, Chicken $7, Beef $7, Shrimp $8.

Not bad for a local hibachi restaurant. Rice was delicious, you get a good portion size as well as a good size of white sauce.

How do you serve hibachi without veggies? I don't understand. Definite shame to get back and realize it's just meat and rice.

The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza so there is shared parking out front. The restaurant is spacious with multiple tables inside. We came during the week for lunch. The all you can eat hibachi and sushi special is only $16. Our server explained the process to order our food from a tablet. Once your order is placed you have to wait ten minutes before you can order more food. There are multiple sushi rolls, chicken wings, soups, hibachi, dumplings, and etc available to order. The only catch is that if you do not eat the rolls you will be charged for them. When came right when the business opened but some of the desserts were listed as being out of stock. All of the food that we ordered was brought out together with some of the items such as the rolls and dumplings on the same plates. We weren't a fan of the miso soup. But everything else was fresh and tasted good. Our server checked on us multiple times. I would come back and try other food options.

Friendly Gal took good care of us. The menu has a nice variety and prices are super reasonable. The two Vegans loved their selections. The curry veggie Udon dish came out first and looked amazing. She loved it. The rest of us got Teriyaki. They offer it in a bowl or plate. We asked what the difference was and she said it was the same thing, just either served in a bowl or on a plate LOL. Okay, we like choices. Veggie Teriyaki bowl for one guy and Beef Teriyaki plate for the other. Chicken plate for me. Our Teriyakis came with a choice of salad or soup. We all got the salad with ginger dressing. Very fresh greens with a mayo-based spicy ginger dressing. Very good! The teriyaki dishes were not super sweet like teriyaki can be, which was nice as it didn't feel like eating pure sugar. I wasn't a fan of the two dumplings that came with mine, as they tasted greasy. I had a lot leftover, but the other three had no problems polishing theirs off. Do note that the chicken was dark meat, which I prefer anyway, but I know a lot of folks prefer white meat. If I were to go back, I would definitely try a noodle dish after seeing that beautiful udon dish.
