Cooks do not wear gloves when cooking and handle chicken, meat, and seafood bare handed and do not wash their hands between cooking of these items. I believe this is a violation of ServSafe rules. The food is good. However, when ordering pickup online, the site told us that the order would be ready in a certain amount of minutes. When my husband arrived to the restaurant, he had to wait MUCH longer than what the site told us. They were very unorganized, working off of one small tablet gathering orders. They even forgot part of out order and luckily my husband checked the bag before he left and told them. Everyone was nice. They were just very unorganized and untimely. So I stopped here one Sunday evening. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant itself was very clean. I ordered hibachi chicken and steak.... (no mushrooms and no broccoli) and hibachi chicken (with just fried rice) for my son. My son's order was perfect. Mine was not. They gave me broccoli and no onions. Not what I asked for at all. Well, it's clean and the staff are very friendly. My food was hot and not bland.... but ramen noodles!?! Lol ramen noodles!? Ramen is not soba. Soba is not ramen. I know they're both noodles, but they're pretty different concepts. Haha. Luckily, I do like ramen... but y'all should probably be calling this fried noodles instead of soba. I'm sure not a lot of people here know the difference... but this is not legit soba. It's a little misleading. I know remembered why I never went back, the food itself is overly for what you get. The veggies are bland in taste, the rice was undercooked, no taste whatsoever. It lack flavor overall. I ordered crab ragoons extremely overcooked and barely filing inside. The food we've gotten here so far has been very good. They have good yum yum sauce and very good teriyaki sauce, which is hard to find around here. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because I accidentally got one extra sauce, back when you filled your own sauce cups, and they yelled at me because my meal only came with.. I forget, two? three? But I got an extra one and you would have thought I was stealing from them. I left the sauce sitting on the counter. Nobody was going to take that sauce. I would have paid for it if they'd calmly told me it was so much extra. But they admonished me like I was a child. Now they hand you the sauce because of covid so that's not an error you can make. Overall, the people are nice enough and the food is good. So we keep going. read more

The service was ok and I appreciate that they have certain sauces in the front of the restaurant instead of asking them. They will give you a lot of onions with the meal though and it's not cooked at all to be honest but for something quick and easy... The place to go. If they gave me extra I didn't see them. Maybe it was that one piece of onion they didn't give others? And on top of it all u get two yumyum sauce. I paid 45 cent for an extra one. My family ordered Hibachi steak and a side order of noodles. The hibachi steak was $8.61 and the noodles were $7.52. The hibachi steak was okay. The noodles were nothing more that Ramen noodles. A-Ok. I stopped here for lunch since it's somewhat close to my job. I ordered it ahead of time and was happy to see that it was ready when I arrived. I was disappointed that they didn't offer a lunch sized portion (and price to go along with it). It was very busy during this time, but the cashier was fast and efficient. She was not overly friendly, but I'd still say it was good service, since she was so busy. There are about 15 tables inside and none on the outside. It's takeout style, so no waitress. The establishment is clean; the Health Grade was 98.5, I believe. On to the food. I ordered the hibachi chicken and steak. I can tell that the food is fresh, b/c I saw them cooking it and putting it on the trays straight from the grill as opposed to spooning it out of chafing dishes like some places. However, the taste was just lacking. There wasn't a ton of flavor and everything was really dry until I doused the entire plate with "yum yum" sauce, which is white sauce. I would go back again, b/c there aren't that many options for Asian food around here and the other Japanese joint across the street and next to the grocery store is worse. read more
