We took our little buzzer from the stall and found seats at the bar, which was one of the stalls still open, so I had a pretty decent margarita while we waited to pick up our food. I think this place would benefit from a QR code on the tables where you can just order and they text you when it's ready, rather than waiting in line to order.

For my main, I had the Wagyu Maki and it didn't live up to the expectations or price at all. We finished off with the mochi which was very tasty. I'll caveat this all with adding my friends who had the ramen and fried rice enjoyed their meals a lot more than mine. This could be a result of just ordering better items or just having a one-off bad experience myself. Overall, I think if you're avoiding seafood then Yakitori Jinbei might not be the best place to try in my personal experience.

Once I got back and dug in, it was clear they use super fresh ingredients, and everything tasted like it was made to order. The fried rice had nice, layered flavors, and the chicken had a clean, crisp bite with a tasty sauce drizzled on top. Honestly, I couldn't quite see what all the major hype was about, but it was still a solid, good-quality meal with great presentation. That said, given the other more affordable options in the area with better portions, I probably wouldn't go back on my next visit. My daughter has a severe peanut allergy, so she specifically asked the staff whether the salmon bowl with ingredients and sauce contained any peanuts or peanut-based ingredients. She was assured that it did not. After taking a few bites, she immediately tasted peanuts in the sauce and stopped eating. She returned to the counter to report the issue, but the staff dismissed her concern, saying they were too busy to do anything. There was no apology, no replacement meal, and no concern for her safety. She ended up buying dinner from Chick-fil-A instead. Food allergies can be life-threatening. Giving incorrect allergen information and then ignoring a customer's concern is unacceptable. I hope Poke Burri improves its food allergy training and customer service so this doesn't happen to someone else.

The spots right in front of the building are limited, so I ended up using the extended parking lot, which was a little dark and had that slightly eerie feeling at night -- nothing too wild or dangerous, but definitely not the most well-lit area I've seen. When I arrived to pick up my order, I was pleasantly greeted right at the door by the staff, who provided genuinely friendly and efficient customer service. That warm welcome made the whole pickup process smooth and quick. Once I got back to my hotel room and finally dug into the food, I have to say the House Lo Mein was prepared with fresh ingredients and good quality noodles and vegetables.
