The fried rice is delicious and so are the veggies; I love that the veggie portion includes mushrooms, zucchinis, and onions like the hibachi I use to get growing up. People seem to be upset about the prices because it's not a restaurant, but they're serving high-quality, premium food items. Comparatively, I think the prices are fair. Hibachi grill is okay overall. Portions are solid and you definitely get a good amount of food for the price. The staff is friendly and easygoing, which makes the experience better. My partner and I split the filet mignon and scallop combo, which came with a side of butter and hibachi sauce??? that had a little bit of a kick. Wasn't sure how the portion size was going to be but it was enough for us to split it for dinner and be full with no leftovers. Just note that when we eat out and there's huge portion sizes of food (American restaurant portions), we'll eat until we're full and either take the rest home or leave it. So if you have a bigger appetite, you'll want your own instead of splitting. The rice was flavorful and a lot was packed in, the filet was good, and the scallops had a nice texture but were a little bland. My partner liked dipping them in the sauce, but I'm not much of a sauce person, so I just paired mine with bigger bites of rice. Check out the overcooked small filet minon portions, overcooked flavorless shrimp, and greasy greasy greasy rice. They have enough grease in their food to clog your arteries at exorbitant prices. My shrimp was severely overcooked, dry, and underseasoned. My filet mignon was sooo overcooked and horrible it was like chewing gum. The rice underneath was greasy, and the vegetables were so small that it really got me thinking that this was a joke. What a waste of money. Not delicious. Not worth the wait as they cook it to order, but are super slow. And definitely not worth the over $40 price tag for what I got. My friends burrito was just as bad. read more

Went on a Monday night. About 4 different parties ahead of us. We got two plates with filet, chicken and shrimp And two plates for the kids with just chicken. We asked for no veggies in the rice as the kids and dad are picky. They said it was already mixed in. I get it makes it easier but they should take into consideration that some people don't want veggies in their rice. We did not care for their house hibachi sauce, whatever the main ingredient is was too overpowering (ketchup?) The plates were big enough to share or just eat as left overs the next day. They used way too much butter. When we divided the plates up the rice was sitting in a puddle of butter. They don't give enough garlic butter on the side. Just 4 half filled containers. Next Time we will order half the amount since they're big portions. When we got the food, the filet was well done when we asked for medium. There's parking the the small lot the truck is in or metered options on the street. It surprisingly took 14 minutes for the food to be ready upon ordering. We brought our food to Red Ribbon and enjoyed it there. The meat was juicy and buttery. I liked the to go container it came in because it is good for meal prep. I pass this truck every Sunday leaving church and always saw good reviews. Parking as easy too. At 1st I thought $25 a plate from a food truck was crazy. But the food was BOMB. Portion was a little small for the chicken plate. But they have plenty of delicious rice which I appreciate. It was like Benihana in a food truck. Veggies were ok. Chicken and shrimp were really good. We got a good size amount of shrimp, chicken, not so much. Rice was a tad greasy but it was so good, I can't wait to go back again. I was so happy to find this truck in the empty lot next to Tselogs. I love Benihana so when I saw the Hibachi truck with all their offerings I was so happy. My favorite is the filet mignon plate! They ask you how you like the meat cooked. You get mushrooms and vegetables with the plate and delicious ice cooked in the fat and butter of the meat and veggies! So tasty and flavorful! They give you hibachi sauce which is a spicy thousand islands, not my favorite wish they had the sauce of Benihana. They also give a buttery sauce, maybe they should add garlic and herbs to the butter to make it tastier since it tastes like plain butter to me. Also got the filet mignon and scallop plate, the scallops cooked a little too much so left it dry. Hopefully they have better dipping sauces but for about $35 it's a very hearty and filling meal.
