I almost missed the place and went right by it because from the street view the trees are blocking the sign and building. I ordered garlic noodles to go. I have been wanting to try these for a while so, I'm glad I finally got the chance. My order did not take long but there was only person inside besides myself. The employee that greeted had a smile. I think the place inside is cute and nice and clean but it's just really easy to miss. Plus the noodles were $16 with no protein but it had such good flavor and I would definitely be back just for this.

This is all you get for $18.00 chicken fried rice?!?! LOL Use your money somewhere else. Overpriced AF

Overpriced. Chicken fried rice taste as good as a Chinese restaurant's, so might as well go there instead. Their portion size is small for the price (18.00).

This is such a classic drink and asian fusion spot! I love their drink menu (Golden Milk Tea is SOOOO good), and their food items are even more extensive (but the popcorn chicken is a staple to eat with your drink of choice). Honestly everyone needs to try this place when you are heading to the South Bay area.

Always friendly people. Their drinks are always good. Haven't had anything that wasn't good yet. Definitely a regular place to check out.

Went to for a lunch meeting. Nice a cozy place that serve pho and drinks. The cashier was "nice" because she had to but she didn't seem like she wanted to be there. Food wise, very typical pho. Drink was way too sweet. They didn't have the option to choose level of sweetness.

I've been coming here since it's opening and I have never really gotten anything other than their garlic noodles and popcorn chicken. I think they have the best popcorn chicken in the area. The portions are a great size. Their drinks are too sweet for me so if you don't like sweet I wouldn't order a drink. I think the actual place could use a fave lift. It feels a little dark and run down. We came to eat around 7pm on Friday and it was very empty. The food came out quick as well.

It was my first time here. Honestly,I used to live near this place but wasn't able to visit it. My plan was to try the Ube Vietnamese coffee. I didn't saw it at the menu at the top screen so I ordered Matcha smoothie instead since i love matcha. I wasn't dissappointed because it's good. The cashier told me that they still carry it(she is nice ) then I saw it was posted near the counter . I'm gonna come back and try the Ube Vietnamese coffee.. Edit: back after few hours. The Ube Vietnamese coffee and popcorn chicken is good.

    Pad Thai Noodles. Delicious.

My first time here. Nestled in a new development with a small shared parking lot behind the building. From the parking lot, you have to walk to Carson, around The UPS Store to Hiccups. The entrance is actually facing the small patio area on the west side. A warm and comforting interior with plenty of seating. A large selection of food and drinks on the menu. I got the Pad Thai with Chicken and the Mango Mango Tea. The Pad Thai was delicious. The Mango Mango Tea was too sweet. I don't know if they could have adjusted the sweetness as I was never asked what level I wanted. Ok, bye.

The pad Thai always slaps! The vibe is clean, and open. I'd increase the monitors so guest can view more options to order while dining in.

Unbeatable Boba and food--this place is the best! The team is not only welcoming but also very attentive, ensuring your drinks and food are just the way you like them. The drink on the left is the Pink Flamingo--super tasty! On the right is Mango Mango, made to absolute perfection. And the boba? Honestly the best I've ever had--soft, chewy, and delicious! Hands down the tastiest garlic noodles and shaken beef garlic noodles I've ever tried. The noodles were perfectly al dente and full of flavor. I highly recommend!

I can't speak to the tacos sold at a place that does drinks as I haven't tried them, but I can say the following: Ambiance (3/5): Small but cute, they don't skimp on AC even as it's a sunny little shop. Great for studying if you're able to nab a seat; they have three tables that seat 4 (maybe 5 if you bunch up on the bench). The natural lighting makes it pretty nice to so some work in there. They have an extension cord with multiple outlets tucked in the corner under the corner table. Service (4/5): Server was friendly and quick. I'm glad he asked if regular milk was okay because it reminded me that it's not for my husband. It's a small thing but it's appreciated! I also loved the little surprise of getting some extra smoothie in a small cup, perfect for my daughter. Why can't other shops be like this? Appreciate it! Drink (4/5): The strawberry banana smoothies tasted fresh. Real fruit bits and not overly sweet or artificial tasting. My husband and I both noted that it had great flavor. My only gripe was that it was still a bit icy; it was hard at times sucking the smoothie out of the boba straw we used. If it were blended fully and smoothly, I would say it would be near perfect. Would we come back? Based on this experience, if we need a quick stop for a drink before the freeway, this makes for a good stop. I wouldn't mind trying out one of their match drinks next time (those look pretty good)!

[Parking]: Easy parking within the plaza. [Atmosphere]: A very casual setup for this tea shop and customers can place their orders via one of two kiosks. One thing to note is that the tea shop plays fairly loud background music so it is hard to have a conversation unless you are sitting right next to the person you are talking to. [Menu]: Yelp's top highlighted items are Strawberry Matcha W/ Milk Foam, Strawberry Taro Milk Tea, and Caramel Cheese Latte. Other featured items include Popcorn Chicken, Biscoff Shake, and Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. *** Strawberry Matcha Milk Tea (100% sweetness - $6.20): The drink was slightly too sweet for me, but the overall flavor was there. Chicken Teriyaki Bowl (Charbroiled Chicken Teriyaki + comes with white rice, chopped lettuce, macaroni salad and grilled fresh pineapple - $13.90): The bowl was surprisingly better than I had expected. The bowl had a slice of grilled pineapple and decent macaroni salad. I was actually able to split the bowl into two smaller meal portions. It was certainly a lot better than the teriyaki bowl from Flame Broiler. *** A solid 3.5-star for the drink and rice bowl. I personally slightly prefer their rice bowl over their drinks and overall this is a nice neighborhood tea shop to grab a quick meal or get a-okay drinks as there aren't too many tea shop options in this part of Torrance (closer to the city of Carson).

Or maybe I'm just schizophrenic, but it was an observation that I made to everyone. I believe ages ago this used to be a Happy Lemon, so this is an insane shift and change in what they offer and the vibes. It's very chill and a great place to hang out, catch up, or study and get work done. Lots of outdoor seating and a good amount of tables and small seating inside too. Ordering is done through a touchscreen kiosk and the drinks come out decently quickly too. Very efficient and friendly service. I got the: 1) Jade Peach Oolong Milk Tea: -I got this with no additional sugar and it automatically comes with their matcha tofu. Super unique and yummy topping. -Delicious white peach flavor, creamy and strong finishing tea taste. Reminds me of all of the aforementioned tea franchise heavy hitters that I know and love. Mai can hold its own. Without additional sweetness, this drink didn't end up tasting watered down or bland, which is super impressive. 2) Double Matcha: -I got this with their organic milk and it's their matcha on top of a matcha cream foam. I got this with no additional sugar (not recommend LOL), but I wanted to really see the quality of their matcha seeing how they won best matcha award and they're somehow in the same vicinity as Yamari. -If anyone even reads my reviews, I use a scaling method to rank matcha. If it's good matcha it's either a Yamari type or an Airoma type, and this scales much closer to Airoma, but it is VERY strong matcha. -This was actually the first time my friend and I got poisoned (like nauseous) from the matcha, meaning it's super high quality and strong. Never had this happened before, so you know that this is the good stuff. It might have been since it was a long day without dinner, or we might have needed it to be sweeter, but I can see why they won their award. I took a sip of my friend's Phin Drip Black Coffee and the Bac Xiu Marble Drip Iced Latte. Delicious coffee flavor without that "sourness" that some coffees have and even without added sweetness, it's not gross and bitter. I got some coffee to go for my dad and brother and they loved it too. We need one of these in the 626. New fav for the area.
