    22. Turkey and Cheese (Baguette)

The first sip of Lee's coffee is always electric. I like the taste and today I will try the turkey sandwich on a baguette. The service was friendly and fast. They also have a restroom . We were in and out in 10-15 minutes. I look forward to returning and trying more delicious items on the menu.

A chain of Lee Sandwich nearby of West Carson's Harbor-UCLA medical center. To begin, although Lee Sandwich is known universally for its consistent quality and value, this branch unfortunately falls a bit short on both fronts. First, the mark-up in prices are noticeably higher than those in neighboring areas of Torrance and Gardena, perhaps almost 50 percent to double the prices of other nearby stores. However, the quality, ironically is significantly lower than those at other stores, with less fresh meats and pastries utilized in sandwich construction. Service was very friendly, perhaps the only highlight of the store sadly. I do expect a little more quality control from a large chain like Lee Sandwich, and hope they will look twice before slapping their brand on just any storefront.

I haven't had a chance to step into a Lee's in forever. This store did not disappoint. The menu, the decor, everything has stayed the absolute same, with respect to the prices. Still, considering what prices are now-a-days, they are still more than reasonable. Their French baguettes are still fresh, flaky and tasty. We ordered one thing after the other: frozen Vietnamese concentrated coffee, sandwiches, 2 smoothies with lychee jelly, a pork pate hand pie type of thing, some of their baguette crisps and a few other small treats. It totaled up to something like $50. it is so easy to spend a small fortune in here so easily. the grilled pork sandwich was tasty and everything was so fresh. I'd gladly come back. it's too bad this location is a bit far from me. Yummmmm all the way home. And yes, you did read that correctly. You can breakfast here for $6-7!

Don't get this trending coffee here it's basic find a better option they use regular whipped cream not the thick flavored version. The coffee is mid also not good. My experience there was not good and awkward the ladies were arguing and one of them was mistreating the other coworker yelling at her in front of me. The ambience was weird and awkward for that reason I won't be going back.

I eat at Lee's Sandwiches because my sister loves the Bánh Mí and I like eating at Vietnamese food places, but this location disappointed me. I bought a drink for $8! Which, I could buy one at another cafe for way bigger and better quality! This is a lesson to me: Overpriced does not infact mean better because I got lesser. Coffee was so small and didn't even look as advertised. I was expecting creme brulee and recieved coffee with whipped cream thrown on top of it? Where is the custard on top of it? Is this something new or did I just get scammed? The Bánh Mí was good though. The combination of the veggies and the meat blends so well into a sandwich. The ambiance of the place is so chill. I like how everything is displayed and the combination of french/european and vietnamese style decor. Service has no complaints yet--the lady seemed nice. But I do feel very disappointed because this is not just my first time having a bad coffee experiance but my second time. Thank you for the Bánh Mí! Hoping that the drink quality improves.

Amazing service amazing people in the morning shift 9:35 am shift 4/24 thank you I will make sure to return to this location .

I will never say no to a Lee's sandwich!! My go to is either the combination (#1) or special combination (#11), I can't really tell the difference between them lol. I like that they have chicken options, my boyfriend likes the grilled chicken banh mi. I usually order these sandwiches to-go, and I pop them in the air fryer to toast the bread up a little bit-- Perfection! The veggie egg rolls are so good too.

Today I got a Bbq Pork Sandwich with Avocado something that I get often but today was different the bbq pork was salty and I got a Passion fruit Italian soda the soda tasted nothing like passion fruit maybe they didn't put enough syrup I don't know but I was disappointed my son got the same sandwich minus the avocado and he got a mango smoothie he took a sip from his drink and said her mom taste it well it was really thick with lots of mango hairs in it but it tasted like vanilla ice cream no Mango taste as we were leaving he asked me to pull over in the parking lot he threw his drink in the trash in front of rite aid he said it so not good well maybe we can find another sandwich place that is better next time we decide to have sandwiches... The young lady at the counter was very nice and good Customer Service

    Bug on pepperoncini

Found bugs in my food!!!! Ordered through Grub Hub for delivery. Upon arrival, everything looked fine. I took a few bites of my sandwich. Grabbed the pepperoncini and noticed a bug on it!!! Began inspecting the rest of the sandwich and found bugs in my sandwich!!!! Also ordered a Thai tea which tasted a bit off. After noticing the bugs, I was immediately grossed out and didn't want to even finish this. I did notice some black things floating in the drink which could be normal, but I can't trust that it isn't bugs at this point. Ordered sesame balls as well, but didn't even get to try them because clearly the cleanliness of this place can't be trusted. Thankfully, Grub Hub was able to refund the entire order but I will not be eating Lee's ever again.

The logo looks like Chagee, the pink is reminiscent of Molly Tea, the fake olive tree is very Cha Redefine, and if I think really hard, the white pampas grass is Toro Tea. Or maybe I'm just schizophrenic, but it was an observation that I made to everyone. I believe ages ago this used to be a Happy Lemon, so this is an insane shift and change in what they offer and the vibes. It's very chill and a great place to hang out, catch up, or study and get work done. Lots of outdoor seating and a good amount of tables and small seating inside too. Ordering is done through a touchscreen kiosk and the drinks come out decently quickly too. Very efficient and friendly service. I got the: 1) Jade Peach Oolong Milk Tea: -I got this with no additional sugar and it automatically comes with their matcha tofu. Super unique and yummy topping. -Delicious white peach flavor, creamy and strong finishing tea taste. Reminds me of all of the aforementioned tea franchise heavy hitters that I know and love. Mai can hold its own. Without additional sweetness, this drink didn't end up tasting watered down or bland, which is super impressive. 2) Double Matcha: -I got this with their organic milk and it's their matcha on top of a matcha cream foam. I got this with no additional sugar (not recommend LOL), but I wanted to really see the quality of their matcha seeing how they won best matcha award and they're somehow in the same vicinity as Yamari. -If anyone even reads my reviews, I use a scaling method to rank matcha. If it's good matcha it's either a Yamari type or an Airoma type, and this scales much closer to Airoma, but it is VERY strong matcha. -This was actually the first time my friend and I got poisoned (like nauseous) from the matcha, meaning it's super high quality and strong. Never had this happened before, so you know that this is the good stuff. It might have been since it was a long day without dinner, or we might have needed it to be sweeter, but I can see why they won their award. I took a sip of my friend's Phin Drip Black Coffee and the Bac Xiu Marble Drip Iced Latte. Delicious coffee flavor without that "sourness" that some coffees have and even without added sweetness, it's not gross and bitter. I got some coffee to go for my dad and brother and they loved it too. We need one of these in the 626. New fav for the area. Definitely want to come back to try more drinks and maybe some of their pastries too.

There were only a few tables and benches inside a somewhat L-shaped shop with a very narrow hall and one all gender restroom available. To be honest, I don't know what the hype was about. I ordered a golden hour expresso tonic and the frozen matcha. Both were good, but nothing that was inherently unique from other coffeeshops. My matcha was smoothly blended but definitely more on the milky side. My husband's tonic was refreshing and slightly citrusy, but not different than tonics we've tried at other shops. Due to the small space and random amounts of people standing around and just chatting and hanging inside the shop, I wouldn't come again unless it's a quick grab and go. Even then, not sure if it's worth the line or wait, but I guess some people seem to really like this place.

The parking is a bit off putting as there are limited spaces and the lot itself is small. I was almost hit by a larger car suddenly pulling out of their spot, so be careful! My sister got a small Strawberry Vanilla Latte ($~7, looks about 16 oz) and service was efficient. I had a few sips of her drink, and it instantly made me think of Nesquik strawberry milk mixed with espresso. I thought the sweetness was at a good level, but I could see it being borderline too sweet if you have a whole drink to yourself. I really liked the unexpected nostalgia factor, and the drink itself was very pretty. The interior is intricately decorated, with little signs and knick knacks everywhere you look. My favorite part was the community resource wall! It was completely filled with flyers (some bilingual) and there was a shelf with stacks of business cards from professionals of all industries. I also spotted a "Know your rights" poster on one of the counters. In a time where new coffee shops seem to be popping up every other day, it's heartwarming to see one that is actively giving back to the community. There's abundant seating and this could be a cozy place to hang out with a friend. TikTok: @qtrinthejukebox Instagram: @qtrinthejukebox

Chicken Teriyaki Bowl (Charbroiled Chicken Teriyaki + comes with white rice, chopped lettuce, macaroni salad and grilled fresh pineapple - $13.90): The bowl was surprisingly better than I had expected. The bowl had a slice of grilled pineapple and decent macaroni salad. I was actually able to split the bowl into two smaller meal portions. It was certainly a lot better than the teriyaki bowl from Flame Broiler. *** A solid 3.5-star for the drink and rice bowl. I personally slightly prefer their rice bowl over their drinks and overall this is a nice neighborhood tea shop to grab a quick meal or get a-okay drinks as there aren't too many tea shop options in this part of Torrance (closer to the city of Carson).
