When my mom softly suggested she calm down because she wouldn't let her speak, the waitress responded loudly, "Did you just tell me to calm down?" We paid and left shortly after. It was disappointing because the atmosphere was pleasant and my mom enjoyed her meal. I may have been more understanding if the restaurant was busy, but there were fewer than six tables occupied and several servers on the floor preparing for the morning rush that would start in a few hours. Overall, it just wasn't the best start to our day. In the end we just left feeling embarrassed and confused at how things ended up.
