What a gem for Moab! We live in SLC (have eaten in many exceptional restaurants around the world) and were visiting Moab with some friends from NC this weekend. It was our friend's 45 wedding anniversary and we made reservations here for dinner. What a wonderful dinner we had! Everyone loved their selections which include the Citrus quinoa salads, Bobotie, Spring rolls and Ribs. When they heard we were there to celebrate our friend's anniversary they brought out a platter with a delicious creme brûlée and written on the plate in chocolate was "Happy Anniversary". After our meal Zinzi (wonderful chef) came out and spent some time chatting with us. What a terrific night and great find! Came here for brunch after an early morning trek to Canyonlands--at 11:30am there was only one other group in the place. What's up, Moab? Don't sleep on Hidden Cuisine! Our server was new so service was a little slow, but she was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. And the food was terrific! Our table had a veggie omelet, biscuits and gravy, and French toast, and it was all delicious, plus the portions were enormous. Wish we were going to be around to try them for dinner. But Moab visitors and locals should definitely check this place out. read more

The pleasant patio on the quiet south end of town was the perfect place to enjoy Sunday brunch on our way through town in late July. Great coffee (iced dirty chai latte), juice (I had carrot juice...yum!), and yummy food, including the savory crepes, the french toast, the sweet crepes, and the kids meals. Portion size and value was good for Moab. Servers may have changed over since then, but our service was fine at the time, especially the kind owner. I definitely recommend this place whether you are passing through town or staying in Moab, and I look forward to returning. read more

Good food and quick service!! We had the Eggs Benedict and the Bagel Breakfast Sandwich. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the food was overall seasoned well. The americano was strong (in a good way!) and the drip coffee was tasty as well. The restaurant itself is clean and the staff is incredibly friendly. We came here for breakfast based on yelp reviews and we were not disappointed. The service was very friendly, it felt homey. The atmosphere is clean. The booths were large so it was great for my 6' 3" tall husband. The views are beautiful from the windows. The kids got smoothies and they were very good, nice and fresh. The portions were large and presentation was very fresh and current. I give it 5 stars for the food and service. I wasn't in love with the decor but that's just an opinion. So the smoked salmon bagel was delicious. A dill and cream cheese spread, fresh spinach, cucumbers (we added avocados) and topped with smoked salmon, capers and pickled onions. Extremely filling. The service it open faced on two bagel halves. We also ordered the fried steak and that was delicious. I was wanting to try the biscuits and gravy and we decided on the steak. Well that had two biscuits, gravy, the country fried steak, potatoes and an egg. Perfect! Got to try it all. The biscuits were a little dry in the middle which did not make them taste bad I just used more gravy (yup we are going to take a nap now!) The kids meal portions were plenty big for our 9 and 11 year old. Ok SO if I was to say something negative and picky it would be about the coffee. Keep in mind we are from Washington state and coffee is almost a spiritual focus where we are from great breakfast place keep up the good work! read more

I saw South African cuisine on Yelp and it didn't disappoint. The menu is simple and delicious! The bobotie is perfectly sweet savory and tart. The bean side dish is so good I ordered a bowl of it afterwards. For your un-curious friends plenty of American burgers and appetizers too. Win-win. read more

Sorry to be a negative on what appears a history of great experiences but feel the need to report something different. Nice people, and we enjoyed the patio but the food was underwhelming. This place is a great option for food being that Moab doesn't have the greatest selection of restaurants. The service was great, the staff is very attentive and friendly. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the eggs in my Eggs Benedict was a little overcooked. As far as taste, it was yummy. My husband got the omlette and it had lots of meat in it, my son got bacon (was cooked perfectly), and the coffee was a perfect combination of strong and smooth. read more

I ate a hidden Benedict, which is English muffin and poached eggj, just like the classic except veggies instead of ham. I wish the spinach and tomato was sautéed but I will say the egg was perfect. The sauce and yolk soaked muffin should have been toasted first but it was still good. The coffee is good and strong. service Was good too. A little busy. I liked it. We went for dinner because of the high ratings, which looking back now, were mainly for breakfast. Our dinner experience was just sad. The place had a few tables with guests waiting to place their orders or to get their food but otherwise the ambience was lacking. Although polite, our server seemed lost. The menu was small and the restaurant is South African themed so the names and descriptions of the dishes were a bit nebulas. They had a few normal things on the menu that folks would recognize, like burgers, but unfortunately the kitchen had run out of those items. We ordered the ratatouille empanadas which were bland and underwhelming. I ordered the Philly sandwich which was ok, on par with something you'd get at a school or hospital cafeteria. My wife ordered some kind of sandwich. When I asked her what kind of meat she was eating, she said it was chicken which was shocking because it was a funky orange/brown color and was chewy and inedible. After 2 bites and having to spit it out she was done with it. Obviously the chicken breast had been prepared who knows when and then microwaved to a luke warm temperature. The fries seemed to be the freshest thing we had there. Even the water was listless and ice free. It was my wife's pre-birthday dinner and with all the high ratings, we had high hopes and were totally let down. The empanadas, chicken and Philly sandwich, no drinks other than water, plus a tip came out to be over $60 for a meal that wasn't edible. It seems like if you're going to frequent this establishment, breakfast time might be the best time to go. read more

Fantastic find in Moab, was passing through when we decided to stop for breakfast. The atmosphere is cozy, and the servers are super sweet, and when the food came out I was surprised by the quality of ingredients and care they put into plating the food. Not to mention the portions are generous and the prices reasonable. Did not expect to find this gem, don't let the location fool you, it's a bit outside of town, but 100% worth it. Easily the best breakfast in town. As someone who lives here, I will say it's worth the 5 minute drive out of town. Chill, competent staff; timely service; big portions. Incredible place ! A must do in Moab ! We went there for lunch, we took 3 different smoothies and 3 different salads, everything was delicious even the dessert (crepes filled with banana and berries) was fabulous to share. If I could give no stars, I would. On Sunday 6/24 we were rudely turned away because we were a party of 7. We were told there was only one chef & it would take hours to even get to us. Very disappointed. Other people were seated & it was not full. Party of 5 was enjoying their meal outside, so I'm not sure why it was made to be such a hassle to accommodate us. We weren't really given an option, & the guy we spoke to had no urge to even try to help us at all. read more

Tasty food and good service. One of the best meals we had in our Moab trip. My favorite is their Hidden Grilled Cheese Steak - it was just perfect to my taste buds! We tried the different flavors of their smoothies with each visit and all of them were excellent - I liked the most is the Milky way smoothie. Definitely a must-try when you are in Moab. read more

Stopped for breakfast on our way to hiking, as we were staying close by in Spanish Valley. Sign is hard to see from the road, so look for the vertical flags advertising breakfast, lunch and coffee. Service was very good. Coffee was decent, but the white mocha my older son ordered was outstanding. Three of us got the breakfast stuffed crepes - basically a breakfast burrito, but with two crepes instead of a tortilla and a light coating of house made hollandaise sauce. Crepes were very light and the dish was delicious. Older son (growing teenager) ordered the country fried steak with a biscuit and gravy. The steak was really good, but the biscuit was truly phenomenal - freshly made, rich without being leaden. As someone who currently lives in the South, I didn't expect to find a world-class biscuit in Moab. Get off the beaten path downtown and come eat here!!! read more

I was a little skeptical when I drove up, but this place is really a hidden gem. The service was great and food was excellent. After spending the morning at the arches, we were hungry and their food hit the spot. We started off with their juices, both were refreshing.
