Loved our experience at the Hideaway house. We were staying at an airbnb where many of the guests mentioned this restaurant so now I could see why. It's larger than it looked from the outside with different levels. We opted to sit outside around sunset and the view didn't disappoint. Our server although I forget her name was friendly and personable and answered any questions we had on the menu items. Even though we were quite full, we opted to make room for the peach cobbler with the butter pecan icecream and ohhh that was sooooooo worth itttt!!!!!! Last time we visited the wait to this little gem was over an hour so we passed it up. This time we're were lucky to just walk in and be sat. I can see why this place gets the reviews it gets. We stopped here for the dog-friendly patio, and it was perfect! They even have a dog menu. Jesus was a very friendly server, and all of the food was delicious! The refreshers were all super tasty and so nice on the warm patio. We will be back! read more

We called ahead and were told it wasn't crowded. When we arrived, we were then told there was a 45-minute wait, which honestly was fine because busy restaurants happen. What an incredible spot for a post-hike lunch in Sedona. Came here starving after hiking nearby and was so happy to find that we could not only be seated immediately, but seated with an incredible view. Hideaway House specializes in pizza, but what I was really craving was wings. They did not disappoint - crispy, delicious and served with two different sauce options. I went with the buffalo but tried my friend's garlic parm which was good too. We split the antipasto salad which also hit the spot and was big enough for two people. I was happy to see local beers on the menu too and treated myself to one from Scottsdale which was light and refreshing. The ambiance was great, the service was solid overall, and the food was just okay. We expected a bit of a wait on a Saturday afternoon, and it took about 45 minutes to be seated. The parking lot is very small, maybe around 10 spaces, so parking can be challenging, especially if you're driving a larger vehicle like a full sized truck. We were seated on the patio, which was a highlight thanks to the great views. Once seated, however, there was a noticeable delay before we were acknowledged, about 15 minutes before our server greeted us. When he did arrive, he was friendly and attentive. It appeared he was covering tables on the opposite side of the patio as well, so he may have been stretched thin. For food, my kids ordered the kids' pasta and we requested Alfredo sauce instead of tomato due to dietary restrictions. The pasta was fine, though it would have been nice to be informed of the $2 upcharge for the sauce substitution. The Alfredo itself was a bit different from a traditional version, and the kids found it just okay. My son and I both ordered the meatball sandwich. The bread was very good, but the marinara sauce and meatballs were average. We were a party of five, including three kids, and were automatically charged a 20% gratuity as a "large party." That felt a bit excessive, as I would expect that threshold to apply to larger groups, perhaps eight or more. They also squeezed us on a 4 top table and put a chair at the end, so it's not like they had to put 2 tables together for our "large party". There was also a 2% credit card processing fee. While I understand businesses incur these costs, it's still disappointing to see them passed directly to customers. Overall, the experience was decent but not exceptional. If I could, I'd give it about a 3.5 out of 5. read more

I got the gluten free pizza, half green goddess and half roasted peach with chicken instead of pancetta. LOVE you can do two flavors if it's the same base. This was a 10" pizza but my god I had three full meals out of it. The toppings were plenty!! This was amazing pizza. I'm not sure which I liked more... the peach had a wonderful sweet contrast to the salty ricotta and savory chicken. The green goddess came with SO MUCH well seasoned arugula. The pesto was nice touch, and the veggies were grilled perfectly. She was a heavy pizza. My boyfriend got the chicken Parmesan and was very happy with the huge portion! We went for Mother's Day to enjoy a lovely brunch. The views were incredible, we sat outside. Although the food was great the service was not! Because we were a party of six, the tip was already included. The server never came back to check on us after our food was delivered. We needed drink refills that were not addressed or condiments were not addressed. We asked three times to have the fan turned on which finally occurred at the end of our meal. We waited for to go boxes and the table was never cleared off after appetizers. They were not that busy being Mothers Day so that was not an excuse for the poor service. If you are in in Sedona I cannot recommend this enough. The peach pizza is a top 2 pizza I have ever had, I have traveled a lot and tried many pizzas and this was very unique. They put honey and oil under the crust before it bakes so it adds an extra layer of sweet with surge salty prosciutto and cheese. The homemade bread was also to die for. I love this place! I ate here with my girlfriend while we were visiting from Phoenix, and it was such a great experience I came back the very next day with some family when they wanted to visit Sedona too. The views from the patio cannot be beat. You're looking out at trees, sky, and Sedona's famous red rocks. There are space heaters if it's cold outside. Great food and great service. I really enjoyed my pizza and my girlfriend liked her shrimp gnocchi. Parking is a little scarce but it always is in this part of Sedona. read more
