Amazing food and we loved our waiter, Phillip! Polite and upbeat personality. As his recommendations, we had peanut butter espresso martini- so delicious! And a key lime martini- also yummy. We had mussels in this amazing garlic tomato sauce w chunks of tomato! So good. View was beautiful not just of the gorgeous red rocks but a beautiful canyon below! We came here after a day in flagstaff. We had 2 dogs with us, the patio was warm and they brought a dog treat and water bowl out for us. They also had a dog menu so we ordered the dogs a beef patty. The burrata was really good and fresh. I liked the pizza the Roma was great with the meatballs on it. This restaurant has a great view and worth sitting outside for it. read more

I love this place! I ate here with my girlfriend while we were visiting from Phoenix, and it was such a great experience I came back the very next day with some family when they wanted to visit Sedona too. The views from the patio cannot be beat. You're looking out at trees, sky, and Sedona's famous red rocks. There are space heaters if it's cold outside. Great food and great service. I really enjoyed my pizza and my girlfriend liked her shrimp gnocchi. Parking is a little scarce but it always is in this part of Sedona. read more

We love the Hideaway House! It's always on our list when in Sedona and we always recommend it to friends! The views are beautiful. The covered patio is perfect. Try and get a table outside! It's also pet friendly so we've brought our dog a few times. The menu has something for everyone. Large portions so you can definitely spilt. The parking lot is tight. Sometimes you get lucky if you circle once or twice. If not you can park down the hill at Tlaquepaque and get your steps in. Just drop anyone who doesn't feel like walking at the Hideaway as they have benches out front for them to wait and take in the breathtaking views! I almost always order the roasted vegetables and polenta. It's delicious and the presentation is gorgeous. All sorts of roasted vegetables with balsamic and goat cheese and a side of green goddess dressing. I also like their fall harvest salad, french onion soup, and their specialty pizzas are fantastic. My husband likes their Italian grinder and the chicken pesto pomodoro. They also have a large kids menu. read more

We had the peach pancetta pizza and it was absolutely amazing and the service Phillip provided was top-notch!

We've driven past this place countless times and somehow missed it--it's tucked right behind the liquor store off SR-179, between Tlaquepaque and Uptown. Parking is tight, but at least there's a small lot so you're not stuck hunting for street parking. Since it was July (a slower season in Sedona), it wasn't busy when we visited. The space is bigger than it looks from the outside, with indoor seating, a bar, and a spacious wraparound patio. There's also a lower-level patio that seemed to be the dog-friendly area--we saw a few pups relaxing and enjoying the view We checked the menu online ahead of time and knew we wanted the burger. We split one with fries on the side. I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and he ordered a Corona. The burger was delicious--double cheese, crispy bacon, and veggies on the side, which we liked. The fries were underwhelming and the portion looked a little sad in its container. Service was where things dipped. There seemed to be plenty of staff overall, but our section didn't get much attention. Once a nearby table of five women sat down, our server seemed stretched thin and we were mostly forgotten after that. Unfortunately, slow service feels pretty common in Sedona, so we weren't shocked. Despite that, we'll definitely return for the views, chill vibe, and solid food--just with the expectation that things might move at a slower pace. read more

This is definitely where you need to start for an afternoon visit to Sedona. The view from the covered outdoor dining area is spectacular. You'll love red rocks and the wooded valley are stunning. The food??? Oh My Goodness!!! Every dish we had was a 10! But we didn't realize the dishes were each enough for 3 to 4 people. So ask before you order as much as we did. As our first meal stop in Sedona, we were captivated by our front-row view, especially from our outdoor table! Service was wonderful: positive, friendly, attentive, yet unrushed. As our 1st stop, ordering a cocktail with prickly pear seemed appropriate; their Prickly Pear Margarita ($16) was so-so. Hubby was pleased with his Create Your Own Pizza (with double olive), finding even the crust soft & tasty. However, I was greatly disappointed with my (2-stars) Greek Salad ($16); desiring and expecting clean, simple flavors of tomatoes, cucumbers, raw red onion, Kalamata olives, pepperoncini, and feta cheese simply dressed with an olive oil (and drizzle of red wine or balsamic vinegar), their version included pickled red onions as well as other pickled vegetables and (something new to me) dolma (I've noticed their current online menu doesn't list the same ingredients as we had during our visit); in addition, I found their Red Wine Vinaigrette dressing far too tangy and sweet for my liking (my thoughts, overpowering the salad). In hindsight, I would have requested the dressing served on the side -- or oil and vinegar, if available. Many attractive casual seating options indoors and outdoors, beautiful views (especially from the back patio tables), and friendly service. Overall: Food and drink (that we ordered) = 2-3 stars; 5 stars for the view and friendly service. read more

Loved our experience at the Hideaway house. We were staying at an airbnb where many of the guests mentioned this restaurant so now I could see why. It's larger than it looked from the outside with different levels. We opted to sit outside around sunset and the view didn't disappoint. Our server although I forget her name was friendly and personable and answered any questions we had on the menu items. Even though we were quite full, we opted to make room for the peach cobbler with the butter pecan icecream and ohhh that was sooooooo worth itttt!!!!!! What an incredible spot for a post-hike lunch in Sedona. Came here starving after hiking nearby and was so happy to find that we could not only be seated immediately, but seated with an incredible view. Hideaway House specializes in pizza, but what I was really craving was wings. They did not disappoint - crispy, delicious and served with two different sauce options. I went with the buffalo but tried my friend's garlic parm which was good too. We split the antipasto salad which also hit the spot and was big enough for two people. I was happy to see local beers on the menu too and treated myself to one from Scottsdale which was light and refreshing. The ambiance was great, the service was solid overall, and the food was just okay. We expected a bit of a wait on a Saturday afternoon, and it took about 45 minutes to be seated. The parking lot is very small, maybe around 10 spaces, so parking can be challenging, especially if you're driving a larger vehicle like a full sized truck. We were seated on the patio, which was a highlight thanks to the great views. Once seated, however, there was a noticeable delay before we were acknowledged, about 15 minutes before our server greeted us. When he did arrive, he was friendly and attentive. It appeared he was covering tables on the opposite side of the patio as well, so he may have been stretched thin. For food, my kids ordered the kids' pasta and we requested Alfredo sauce instead of tomato due to dietary restrictions. The pasta was fine, though it would have been nice to be informed of the $2 upcharge for the sauce substitution. The Alfredo itself was a bit different from a traditional version, and the kids found it just okay. My son and I both ordered the meatball sandwich. The bread was very good, but the marinara sauce and meatballs were average. We were a party of five, including three kids, and were automatically charged a 20% gratuity as a "large party." That felt a bit excessive, as I would expect that threshold to apply to larger groups, perhaps eight or more. They also squeezed us on a 4 top table and put a chair at the end, so it's not like they had to put 2 tables together for our "large party". There was also a 2% credit card processing fee. While I understand businesses incur these costs, it's still disappointing to see them passed directly to customers. Overall, the experience was decent but not exceptional. If I could, I'd give it about a 3.5 out of 5. read more

This is a must! The patio is of course the selling point, when it's nice outside. But we were outside all day and hungry so we had first serve and got a nice booth inside! Homey vibes. I got the gluten free pizza, half green goddess and half roasted peach with chicken instead of pancetta. LOVE you can do two flavors if it's the same base. This was a 10" pizza but my god I had three full meals out of it. The toppings were plenty!! This was amazing pizza. I'm not sure which I liked more... the peach had a wonderful sweet contrast to the salty ricotta and savory chicken. The green goddess came with SO MUCH well seasoned arugula. The pesto was nice touch, and the veggies were grilled perfectly. She was a heavy pizza. My boyfriend got the chicken Parmesan and was very happy with the huge portion! Our server Jesus was great. We enjoyed the Harvest Salad and the Shrimp gnocchi. Both were fresh and delicious. What a great lunch. The local Amber beer was also refreshing after a morning of hiking. As we were leaving the manger greeted us and asked us if we enjoyed our lunch. We had a lovely conversation with him.
