Its been so long since I sat down at a pizza spot. This won't be the last. The setting seems like it fits in with the Austin TX motto of "Keep Austin Weird" which is a good thing. It is a cool ass place to get some great pizza. The toppings were plentiful and the dough selected came out just as we wanted. It was the best pizza I've had in years. We also had the baked cheesy shrooms which were a great starter. The service was great. All the staff was friendly and upbeat. We had the 10 inch Xtreme and the ATW + jalapeños. Impressive pizza joint, just right for a quick meal. Walked in off the street, greeted and seated quickly, and the waitress was friendly, fast, and efficient. Drinks came out quick, and replenished when needed, without having to run anybody down. Pizza was very good, very generous with the toppings, and the crust held up well - no sogginess from the toppings. All the staff were very friendly, and got greeted and farewelled by everbody! Overall great. One of our family favorite places for pizza. The atmosphere is always good. We had the mount mushmore pizza. First time having it, plus we added chicken. Presentation for the pizza was not as good as the taste but it worked for us. So overall a 5 star again for this place. Will order again next time. Being a new customer, I did have to verify my phone number before I could complete my online order, but that was the only negative part of the experience. When I arrived and parked in one of the dedicated parking spots for order pickup, a server promptly came out to get my name. He then returned with a fresh, hot pizza. The 10-inch pizza I ordered is just the right size for two people (although I ate it myself for dinner and a late-night snack). We tried Hideaway several times because our family members like it but I never really caught on to it. There are better pizzas in town, especially for the price they charge you there. Don't get me wrong the food is not horrible but it's just an average pizza and seems overpriced. I know that's a big claim but I have been in Tulsa a year and half and have not found anything better. So having spent the last 35 years eating Hideaway in Stillwater and finding it simple and bland this new location was quite refreshing... So far, all we have done is walk in. My friend and I stopped in after a hospital visit and did not have to wait long for our table, nor drive around the block waiting for a parking spot. The spaces in front look to be reserved for pick up and handicap parking (I didn't really look. We parked in the back). Both of us have been to HP before so we knew it would be good. I have never been to this location. He used to live near here and said he remembers it being a nice place to eat. Now, here we are putting it to the test, looking like an uninvolved couple while we are both on our phones :) (I'm writing this review while sitting here because I'll put it off for too long if I don't). We ordered 6 Habanero honey wings and a pollinator pizza. The wings just showed up. Hold on... They're aight. Not hot. Still tasty. I'll let you know how the pizza goes. The pizza was alright. I came here for a quick work lunch and was helped by Bree. Her attentiveness and friendliness would have been worth the visit alone. However, the food is always worth the visit! I was eating "light" so had the large Greek salad and small fried mushrooms. The salad was a generous portion served with the delicious house made dressing on the side. If you like pepperoncinis, this salad is your friend! Hideaway Pizza says their mushrooms are famous, and rightfully so. They were fried to perfection, and didn't turn into the watery mess that can afflict this appetizer at other establishments. The mushrooms come with both ranch dressing and marinara sauce. They both pair nicely with the fabulous fungi. I loved this location, and the service and food were as good as I have had. Looking forward to my next visit!!! read more

They keep track of when cars park in that area and then come out to ask which order you're there for. The parking spots are numbered so when someone comes back out to bring the food they know which car it goes to. Very convenient and low contact. Workers wear masks as well. On this visit we decided to get the 50/50 for an appetizer. My family usually likes to just get the mushrooms but I was in the mood for some mozzarella sticks so it was a good thing we could get both with the 50/50 - always a good choice! If I could change one thing though, I wish it came with one or two more mozzarella sticks, for the purposes of making it more shareable. For me, the hurricane pizza is hard to resist, but I recently tried the paradise pie pizza along with it. I don't normally go for pizzas with an alfredo sauce but I wanted something a little different, and that would contrast with my beloved hurricane!! I liked it! My BBG and I ended up here for dinner, and we settled on the "Game Changer" pizza. Seriously, one of the best pizzas in my life. The pepperoni and sausage were very fresh, smoked, crispy and tasty. But the show stopper was the spicy giardiniera topping, which was fantastic! The dough had the right crunch and pull and smokiness. The only thing that bothered me is that it was so good, we ate the whole pizza and no leftovers to take home. We arrived before 7:00 PM and get a pitcher of beer for half price. Stopped in for lunch, and I don't think Hideaway can ever make a bad pizza. Ever. At the Cherry Street location, we were taken care of by Vickie. She took such great care of us! I love the layout of the restaurant, it is roomy and has a homestyle type of aesthetic. We were greeted by multiple employees when we walked in, and everyone was genuinely happy to be there, which makes an experience all the better. We started with fried pickles, and they were awesome. Perfectly crisp and just a little kick to them. They came with a "special sauce" which also was a bit spicy, but we love the heat, so we didn't mind at all! For pizza, we got The Boz. It has jalapeños, pepperoni, sausage, and bell peppers. Phenomenal is an understatement. Everything from the crust to the dough and the toppings was just divine! I went to a birthday party with my step sister at this Hideaway Pizza last weekend. It was a large group we were there with, and I'd say for the most part the servers and staff did a good job with it. It did take a little while to get the tables set up, but once we were seated, the server brought all the children coloring sheets and unbaked dough to play with, the latter of which I'd never seen but found to be a great idea and way for the children to pass time. I was definitely entertained by playing with the dough too lol. Once the food got there, I'd also probably liked to see the server help more passing out slices but it was a large group, so I get why he may have left it for the party chaperones. The food itself was really good, though. Classic cheese, pepperroni, and sausage, are always a good test of a pizza spot to me, and the sausage pizza I ate had a good crust, plenty of toppings, overall solid. read more

Frozen from the grocery is a better meal and better value. Our location is 61st and Yale. This could be the problem since service has declined commensurately. Another bad experience, and the last! Twenty Two bucks for a small soggy cauliflower crust veggie pizza that was uncooked. I called in my order and pickup time was 21 minutes. When I arrived within 14 minutes later it was already done, NOT! NEVER AGAIN, they hire nothing but incompetants! Spend your hard earned money somewhere else. BEWARE!! For our drinks, I ordered an Angry Orchard hard cider and she chose a Michelob. The staff was excellent and attentive. They are always super friendly. I always learn something interesting when dining there. Today, I learned that their mascot is actually pizza dough with hair! The decor was very casual and fun. I placed my Hideaway Pizza order on the mobile app. This app allows customers to customize their pizza to perfection. The mobile app was easy to work with, allowed payment methods, and assured me my order was correct by the receipt. On my way to the restaurant, the app assured me that I could pick up my pizzas hot and fresh from a curbside parking spot. When I arrived at the restaurant, the employee greeted me with kindness and compassion. The employee verified my order and brought out exactly what I asked for. This experience was great because it consisted of low contact and was extremely convenient. My order consisted of two pizzas that were Canadian Bacon and a Gluten Free Big Country. These pizzas were warm and fresh. All ingredients were correct, and the pizzas contained the correct toppings. My daughter is allergic to gluten, so she tried the gluten-free pizza. It is hard to find gluten-free pizza anywhere, so it was great to see Hideaway be inclusive to those who struggle with food allergies. The pizzas were fantastic and will be ordered again! The pizzas that are served at Hideaway Pizza are large and have a lot of toppings. Each pizza is big enough for multiple people to share. By ordering a pizza that is large, I am able to have leftovers for other meals. Leftovers allow me to save money, which is a bonus. My family loves to go to Hideaway Pizza to gather for dinner or enjoy a meal at home via curbside pickup. After our food arrived, we never saw our server again until our bill was delivered. Saw another customer have to leave his table to go ask for refills on his drinks.
