    Hungry Man Meat Feast Pizza

It was a lobster kind of night for our party when we went. We went for my friend's bachelorette weekend and the staff were all so friendly. Our server even gave us free dessert at the end to celebrate, the staff was so sweet! The lobster mac and cheese was everything, as well as the lobster roll. The man feast pizza was so good too, perfect to feed a large group! There was limited parking in their lot, but they do give you 2.5 hours free to park there so we had extra time to eat and chill before leaving!

Came for a birthday brunch and was pretty impressed! The brunch menu is until 1pm but you can still order the lunch side, which was nice. The inside was spacious and had good natural lighting. I liked that the pizza was made in house with their pizza oven! The scramble was good as well. Overall I'd consider coming again for their brunch. Their parking is free 2 hour validation too if you eat there.

Sports bar with weak ass lemonade 4 sure. Good parking, or you can get unucky...Lolol Burger is very good. Mac & Cheese can use some work. Service excellent. Quick friendly. Price point okay.

We came to celebrate my mom's birthday here before our steamboat excursion . The place was pretty busy but we got seated right away . Our waiter came and took our drinks orders shortly after . I decided on the slicipoli pizza and a side of fries and overall the food was good . However our service was just okay . I don't know if our waitress was having an off day or what but she kept darting off if we asked for something and didn't ask if we needed anything else . The ambience in this place was nice as well .

This use to be the best taco spot for cheap tacos & drinks lol back in the day IYKYK . Their decor was so cute & nostalgic. We came in for breakfast- the Greek yogurt bowl was great w/granola & berries & honey. They have cool kids toys to play with which was awesome. And my niece had the breakfast burrito which she said was super tasty. I'd like to come back & try more on the lunch/dinner menu side. The service was pretty superb, ladies were super attentive & friendly.

We're from Houston and been wandering around San Diego for a week taking in the activities and fortunately on our last day here we found this place. Wish we had found it four days ago best place ever Pizza, Wings, and lobster rolls you name it they have it and it's all delicious. The atmosphere is up and lively and I don't think there is a rule that you can break that would bother them. I love the table next to us, They brought their dog and the dog got served before they did. Another word, pet friendly best find in San Diego. Sidenote, ordered the mac & cheese for my two year-old daughter It was so good everybody ate it. The margarita pizza is to die for but nothing beats the lobster roll.

We got the buffalo chicken wings, hungry man meat pizza, salad, lobster roll, and lobster mac and cheese. Everything was delicious and service was fast and attentive. It was a very busy place, but a good amount of lively. I recommend a reservation as this place gets packed. We also got the beignets with the three dipping sauces as a complimentary dessert for my bachelorette party. It was a perfect way to end the meal.

The Hideaway in Pacific Beach is the perfect San Diego beach vibe you want in SoCal. It's all open air, the staff is amazing, the bar food is elevated and the cocktails are just enough to have a proper cocktail or a great beer or RBV It's absolutely one of our favorites in PB and we go at least once or twice every time we make it to San Diego. The decor is very cool retro. All the old school stuff you enjoyed back in the day you'll find strewn about in every room. There are tons of cool nooks and cranny rooms where you can chill with your crew. You can even grab one with a fire pit which is fun in the always perfect 70's'ish weather. When you're in San Diego in the Mission/Pacific Beach area the Hideaway is a must. Just go and be happy. You'll thank us . Salute @thejohnnycocktail

Coming to hideaway during breakfast or happy hour is a treat. I've had their breakfast pizza, burrito, pretzel, subs, a bunch of their sides, it's really good. I think I've gotten their tomato soup 3 times already, and am looking for more!

The Hideaway: Surf Vibes and Slow Entrees in Mission Beach If you're looking for a spot where "Endless Summer" meets "Mad Men," The Hideaway in Mission Beach hits the mark. Here is the breakdown of a recent Thursday night visit. The Atmosphere & Service We arrived around 7:30 PM to a buzzing house. Despite the crowd--which skewed notably younger and high-energy--the wait for a table was a manageable 15 minutes. The decor is a standout feature: a seamless blend of surf culture and mid-century modern design that feels both nostalgic and trendy. The staff were genuinely friendly, keeping the mood light even as the dining room stayed packed. The Food & Drink The kitchen's timing was a bit of a mixed bag. Our drinks and salads arrived almost immediately, but there was a significant "dead zone" of waiting before the main plates hit the table. * Arugula & Fennel Salad: Fresh and decent, though it was a bit "dry" for my taste; it could have used a more generous pour of dressing. * Classic Steak Frites: Perfectly seasoned with great flavor. * Garlic Fries: The star of the side dishes. They paired exceptionally well with the blue cheese dipping sauce, which was a nice (and bold) departure from standard ketchup. * Short Ribs: Decent. While not an oversized "diner portion," the serving size fell a bit short for the price point. The Verdict Overall Experience: A decent meal in a fantastic setting. While the delay between the starters and entrees was noticeable, the quality of the steak Frites and those garlic fries made the wait easier to swallow.

The Hideaway is a large primarily bar/lounge focused restaurant on Mission Boulevard that is located super close to Crystal Pier. It is cute inside and has a cozy bungalow-esque aesthetic. Think a mix of high and low tables, shelves with games, tchotchkes, and books and multiple rooms. A bustling bar scene, tvs galore, and happy customers... what more could you want? They also have a parking lot, but on nice days it will likely be full... the good thing is, if you get a spot in the lot, they'll validate your parking! We came here with another couple early on Saturday night with our early bird (lol) reservation of 5:15. We were seated immediately in a nice & comfortable table/booth. We immediately noticed that the crowd skews young but honestly, that was fine by me, even though most of them would probably consider me an "old." It was packed inside and even this early, the place had a lively and fun atmosphere. Ellie was our lovely and attentive server, and even though she was busy, she did a good job of communicating with our table & she made sure that we were happy with everything!. Thanks, Ellie! The food and drinks were very good! Honestly, the food was way better than I expected based on other reviews I'd read. We had the lobster roll, hideaway burger, all American burger & fried chicken sandwich all with either truffle fries or regular fries. No one opted for a side salad. Oh well. We did start with the tempura cauliflower though, so there's that. Heh. Oh & the drinks! I really enjoyed Hideaway's version of a mai Tai - and they came with a souvenir glass! The drinks are good albeit pricey. So yes, this is a great place for a night out with your friends (or frenemies) because maybe you'll have such a great time here that you just are happy to be alive and in the company of great people. Verdict: the food is tasty and the drinks hit harder than a mantis shrimp & yeah, it's the kind of place that'll set you up for a good time. Plus it is two minutes from one of the best beaches in California & my favorite, so, what are you waiting for? Mahalo.

Food was hot and delicious, service was quick and amazing, the vibe is vining. I love the furniture and the decor. My margarita was the best I've had!

    Lobster roll and caesar salad
    Natalie P.

Went for a late dinner and stuck around for the DJ, HIGHLY recommend to skip the long line and cover later at night. Food was decent, definitely a little overpriced but I really enjoyed the lobster roll! The caesar salad and french fries were just ok, fries were a bit soggy. But we don't really go to Hideaway for the food, we go for the drinks and great music! I had a paloma with dinner which was very good. Around 9/10pm they clear out most of the tables for the dance floor and always have an excellent DJ. The crowd is VERY young, but music is great when you just want a place to go dance!

Best turkey sandwich. Get the turkey sandwich…read more Okay other stuff... sandwich comes with a side and you should get the cauliflower salad to go with it. It's a big place with multiple indoor/outdoor seating options. Cute. We ate there every morning for breakfast because it's the best option nearby and opens early. It has baked goods, all do the coffee options, a full bar that opens later in the day, and good prepared meals. Didn't like the waffle as much as I thought I would, maybe 4 or 5 on the star scale. The fruit, whipped cream, and syrup for it were solid. My friends tried chai bowls, fresh fruit, banana bread, breakfast burritos, and other pastries if not enjoying the (delicious!!!) turkey sandwich. I did find myself wishing there were fresh juice options. A fresh OJ or green juice would have hit the spot and I couldn't find plain fresh squeezed I the area. All and all, super delighted by this find and scores a 5.

I'm just extremely disappointed with how poor my experience was today because I had only super positive experiences previously and was looking forward to dining there this morning after sometime away, but holy hell ....today's experience has been so profoundly bad. Firstly, my husband ordered two breakfast burritos - one with bacon and the other with bacon on the side. I'll chalk this one up to miscommunication, but they put bacon in one, and bacon in the other too - and then added bacon on the side to the other and charged us $5.50 for the extra bacon. Again, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt here and will be sure to communicate explicitly next time. They kindly made me a new one, but the new one had potatoes that weren't cooked thoroughly (likely to rush the food to me, so I acknowledge the difficulty here), however there was hardly any avocado. I literally had to complain again because I didn't believe there was any avocado at all. I wouldn't be as pissed if this weren't an EIGHTEEN DOLLAR breakfast burrito. Lastly, the coffee lids don't fit on the cups. We tried to put one on and ended up spilling the entire coffee. I chalked this up to an accident on our part, however another patron who observed our incident said "their lids don't fit the cup, right??" And I was like "oh so it wasn't just us??" And she was like "no, I almost spilled mine all over too." This random patron encouraged us to ask for a new cup of coffee as a result (thanks, random patron!). The Molly's team did kindly make us a new (albeit quite bitter) drink, which I appreciate. However, the lid was still an issue - it would spill out of the cup all over the rim between the cup and the lid when I'd try to take a sip, so I took off the lid entirely, but then was stuck with dealing with spills while walking around - I had to move at a snail's pace to prevent spills altogether. This was easier to deal with random leakage around the entire cup every time I'd sip with the lid on. Ultimately It was just a lose-lose with the ill fitting lid situation. All this to say - Molly's Team, yall were fantastic just a month ago. What happened? I understand food and services in the beach area stuff are often expensive and rarely good, but you guys are *too* expensive for this poor of service and quality. Two stars because at least the folks there are generally nice.

The kicker was how terrible the service was. - our waitress had a lot of attitude in the beginning, rolling her eyes and not being responsive, and rarely checked on us after taking our food orders - entrees came a long time before apps, and dinner was served without silverware - entrees were placed at the corner of the table instead of served to each individual person, and while moving our plates food spilled everywhere and no one cleaned it up - no water refills. When we did ask for water, the waitress brought us the carafe and immediately walked away even though all of our cups were empty/needed filling - our empty plates stayed on our table for an hour and only got cleaned up when we asked - someone said they would be right back to come wipe the dirty table after they took our plates, and never came back - it was a birthday outing and they did comp our dessert, but it didn't come with a candle or anything. They brought 1 spoon and no sharing plates, even though there were 3 of us. When we asked for extra spoons they brought out packaged plastic utensils ??? - a lot of young and rowdy patrons, just to keep in mind the ambiance Genuinely shocking experience. Please do better!

They apparently have happy hour all day on Sundays. I tried the peach mocktail and it was very yummy, so I appreciated the $5 off. For dinner, I ordered the branzino (the one on the menu and not the special). I was told while the one on the normal menu was $47, the special was $55 and the only difference between the two was the special would be lit on fire table side. I didn't feel the flames were necessary, so I skipped that. (However, the special did mention a sauce that I'm not sure was actually on the regular one, so I don't actually know.) A few minutes before the food came out, they asked if we wanted it all together or if it would be ok for my husband and our friends food to come out first since they were still finishing my fish. I said to just bring it out when it was ready, however they ended up bringing it out together anyway. The confusing part though, all of our meals weren't served warm? You'd think if they were waiting on mine to be done it would have been at least warm? It wasn't. The branzio was very plainly seasoned, tasted heavily of oil and was also somewhat dry? I got it with the whipped sweet potatoes, which was very creamy, which was unlike any way I've ever had sweet potatoes before, but they didn't taste particularly good? We each tried them and none of us could figure out what it was like, but we all agreed we didn't enjoy them. My husband got the arrecherea, it was fine, but also cold. The fries it came with was probably the best part, they were crispy even while being cold. Our friend got the stuffed Mediterranean Stuffed Pepper, his meal also wasn't warm, and he said some of the rice wasn't cooked all the way and it was hard. We also got the Puccia Bread & Spreads after seeing positive reviews. I normally love feta cheese, but the feta dip was kind of sweet? Same with the eggplant. The only spread that was good was the butter. Personally, I thought the bread was fine? But it was almost a bit doughy. Overall, we weren't very impressed with the meal. It had a lot of potential, but the food just didn't hit the mark.

The seafood was incredibly fresh and perfectly seasoned. I was already leaning toward what I ordered, and he reassured me I was making a great choice. His knowledge of the menu and genuine hospitality made the experience even better. The lobster and shrimp roll was hands down the best I've had in years. The mahi slider was just as impressive--perfectly seasoned, lightly breaded, and fried to perfection without the excessive batter that so many places use. Every bite let the fresh fish shine through. The atmosphere was exactly what you'd want from a beach bar--laid-back, welcoming, and fun. It felt like the kind of place where you could spend the day at the beach, walk over for a drink and some amazing food, and just relax. The entertainment setup was impressive too, with huge TVs and a really cool in-wall fireplace-style display. I can only imagine this place is the spot to be on game day.
