This is the cutest bar to get decently price espresso martinis. They have a martini espresso special that everyone should try out once you're here in pb. Unfortunately I didn't have the pleasure to try the food. But my best friend and I went bar hopping during the afc championship game. And it wasn't packed here, and they had great drink specials. Definitely can't wait to come back.

Bunny cocktail and a twist on the old fashioned (with aperol) ... can't remember the exact names on the menu :/

Really great drinks especially for the happy hour prices. They weren't diluted - you can actually taste the alcohol. I especially loved this carrot juice coconut mezcal cocktail. Very tropical. Like a cross between a pina colada and a mai tai. Our server Morgan was wonderful and gave great suggestions. My only critique is the atmosphere/ambiance. It's a bit stiff and not cozy - it almost feels a bit unfinished with the decor/art. Still would come back to try more of their great cocktails!

Charcuterie spread

Celebrated my baby shower here and it was absolutely perfect. Krista and Meg made everything come together so seamlessly from the food to the ambiance. The staff was so accommodating, and having a kid-friendly environment made it much easier for friends and family to attend. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Bar Ella in PB is a great low-key spot for brunch. I got the simple breakfast--eggs, bacon, potatoes, and toast--and it totally hit the spot. I loved sitting near the open garage door and people watching along Garnet Avenue. The real MVP? Bottomless mimosas for $16!! Our server kept them coming without us even asking, which made the whole vibe super relaxed and easy. Cute place, good food, great drinks--definitely worth checking out if you're in the area for a weekend brunch.

Came here after the Santa run! Super busy but the server who came to our table was so friendly and made sure to check up on our table multiple times. It's located in a really nice area of PB and their holiday menu looked very enticing! They also have $6 espresso martini!

Bar Ella is the new old Bubs on Garnet. We stepped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon after a nice walk on the beach. The place is large, and very modern, especially compared to before. The staff was very friendly and attentive. All dishes are served on these cute antique plates. Fun to appreciate the wide variety of plates. We started off with the: Deviled eggs- with turmeric and pickled beet - delicious! Roasted carrots with whipped feta cheese- surprisingly good! Sliders with caramelized onions- so good! And, finished with the crabcakes- my least favorite but still good. Every dish was delicious and unique. We truly enjoyed eating at Bar Ella. We will come back.

Absolutely love this place, Taylor was amazing! I've been here a few times but Taylor made my day- went for brunch, and she recommended the biscuit gravy which was awesome, and I got bottomless which is always great. Great Saturday vibe, thank you again Taylor!

Stopped in with some girlfriends while visiting PB and I'm so glad we did! We were drawn to this place after looking at the menu and seeing they had a girl dinner consisting of a Caesar salad with fries, with an option to add on a martini. I'm more of an Aperol spritz lover so i opted for that instead. I added grilled chicken to my salad and appreciated that it was freshly grilled and not the frozen kind. Upon arriving we learned that on Thursday nights they host live comedy, so we enjoyed some stand up while we ate. Service was great and quick, even with it being a packed house. Such a cool spot!

Think bar and restaurant type of place. We got a couple of dishes to split among us and overall everything was good. The pickled deviled eggs (3.5/5) were all right. I'm not a big fan of pickled things so considering that it was still good lol. Steak bites were good (3.5/5) too and cooked perfectly. It doesn't look like a lot but we were able to split it among 4 people. Lastly the bar Ella burger (4/5) was probably my favorite. Shoutout to the kitchen for cutting the burger in 4 for us!! I also for the fire island (3/5) but that was just all right. Not as sweet as I expected.

Solid place for a drink! This place is cute, especially compared to the old business that used to be here. Margarita ($12) was good and service was great at the bar! Ended up coming here because the surrounding bars were packed/had lines during St. Patty's weekend. This was a lot less busy, but still had a handful of people, which we enjoyed so we can actually have a place to sit and hear each other. No complaints at Bar Ella! Will hopefully try the food here soon.

Hosted birthday celebration

Hosted my birthday celebration here this past weekend, and I just wanted to say how much I appreciate all the attention to detail Krista put into making the day so special. The customized menu was such a thoughtful touch, and she even helped put together my balloon decorations. We loved being able to bring in our own decor and cake to celebrate and everything went so smoothly! The food and drinks were great, and our server, Morgan, did an amazing job taking care of our large party throughout the night. She was so sweet and attentive the entire time. A huge thank you to Krista and the entire staff at Bar Ella for helping make my night so special. 10/10 would absolutely recommend hosting your celebrations here!

Mocktail and smokeshow

I came here for happy hour and notice how pretty the space is. Hubby got the smoke show and I opted for a mocktail. The drinks were yummy and refreshing! He ordered another one! We shared the arancini, scallops, and a hoagie. Everything was great and we also saved room for dessert. We decided on the chilled affogato, which was served with nitro coldbrew coffee. It was delicious!

I'm just extremely disappointed with how poor my experience was today because I had only super positive experiences previously and was looking forward to dining there this morning after sometime away, but holy hell ....today's experience has been so profoundly bad. Firstly, my husband ordered two breakfast burritos - one with bacon and the other with bacon on the side. I'll chalk this one up to miscommunication, but they put bacon in one, and bacon in the other too - and then added bacon on the side to the other and charged us $5.50 for the extra bacon. Again, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt here and will be sure to communicate explicitly next time. They kindly made me a new one, but the new one had potatoes that weren't cooked thoroughly (likely to rush the food to me, so I acknowledge the difficulty here), however there was hardly any avocado. I literally had to complain again because I didn't believe there was any avocado at all. I wouldn't be as pissed if this weren't an EIGHTEEN DOLLAR breakfast burrito. Lastly, the coffee lids don't fit on the cups. We tried to put one on and ended up spilling the entire coffee. I chalked this up to an accident on our part, however another patron who observed our incident said "their lids don't fit the cup, right??" And I was like "oh so it wasn't just us??" And she was like "no, I almost spilled mine all over too." This random patron encouraged us to ask for a new cup of coffee as a result (thanks, random patron!). The Molly's team did kindly make us a new (albeit quite bitter) drink, which I appreciate. However, the lid was still an issue - it would spill out of the cup all over the rim between the cup and the lid when I'd try to take a sip, so I took off the lid entirely, but then was stuck with dealing with spills while walking around - I had to move at a snail's pace to prevent spills altogether. This was easier to deal with random leakage around the entire cup every time I'd sip with the lid on. Ultimately It was just a lose-lose with the ill fitting lid situation. All this to say - Molly's Team, yall were fantastic just a month ago. What happened? I understand food and services in the beach area stuff are often expensive and rarely good, but you guys are *too* expensive for this poor of service and quality. Two stars because at least the folks there are generally nice.

As soon as you walk in you're greeted by the friendly bar tender, and are instructed to take a seat anywhere you'd like. The menu is available via QR code, and you order both your food and drinks at the bar. At the time we came in there weren't many people, but a crowd started gathering after about 30 minutes or so, which was nice! Our food came out - with a decent amount of wait time - and it looked great! We ordered a couple of cocktails from the menu as well, which we got right away. I had gotten something similar to an Espresso Martini, but the drink fell short in both the taste and the presentation. My beer battered fish tacos were good, but nothing extraordinary. I believed they lacked a bit of taste...perhaps seasoning? The jam burger on the other hand, extremely juicy and flavorful! The fries were nice and crispy & seasoned. Overall, the food and drink were a bit inconsistent, but it may also very well be the items I ordered. For that, I'm docking it one star, but again it may come down to my taste buds and previous items I've had from other grills. I'd definitely give it a try, again, and keep exploring their menu.
