I have nothing but good things to say about this spot. Super cute restaurant with an awesome Thursday deal for aperitivo. We loved the food options and got to try a vide variety of food from this restaurant with the buffet style options. Definitely looking forward to coming back for happy hour or another aperitivo deal.

Went for thursday aperitivo and was not disappointed! Live dj, strong drinks, complimentary bites! A must if you're in PB (: Ambiance is great (inside and outside seating).

everything was INCREDIBLE. We had Lily as our server and she was beyond friendly and helpful, she came up with great suggestions and made wonderful conversations. The restaurant itself has a very chic coastal vibe. They have outdoor and indoor seatings which both have incredible atmosphere to it. I'm from out of town and only coincidentally found this spot and me and my partner haven't stopped talking about it. The oysters were fresh and sweet and wasn't too briny. My partner especially enjoyed the chimichuri burger but you have to eat it with truffle fries, the compliment each other so so well. They have solid chicken wings, nothing too special, but if you're just craving a good decent chicken wings then it would do the trick!! Love love love this place and will definitely come back if i visit again!!

Great atmosphere, service, and drinks! I've been on the hunt for a Pisco Sour and found myself at Slowly! Dropping by for drinks, we were seated on their patio beside a warm fire pit. I got their Patient Pisco Sour while my partner got the Pomegranate Mojito. The Pisco Sour definitely packed a punch! Quite strong, yet rich and palatable. The real star, however, was surprisingly the Pomegranate Mojito. Pomegranate happens to be one of my favorite fruits, and it's quite rare to find anything pomegranate flavored, let alone a drink! Tart and refreshing, this might just be my new go-to drinky drink.

Finally came here after finding this gem for happy hour oysters. They are $1.50 each and come in increments of 6. I also got their draft beer with a shot and it was such a nice combo. Felt young again taking that shot. I was recommended to get the flatbread as it's made in house and it's the same base for other dishes. It was honestly the perfect mix needed.

Incredible! We had a wonderful first visit! The ambiance is very comfortable and relaxing. We came during happy hour and that led into dinner. Our server was very informative and attentive as well. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the roasted artichoke's ( the flavors! ) the beet salad which was very fresh and flavorful. The house wine they had was very good and we both ordered the marinated skirt steak which was impeccable with flavors. This place is added to our must do's going forward when visiting San Diego.

Very inviting as you approach the place. Staff was excellent. Our server was so knowledgeable and very pleasant. As the food came out, every dish was amazing. I will most likely want to come here again. Parking around in PB is always awful. The just taking a lyft or uber.

I've been wanting to try this place and it did not disappoint. My husband and I came for happy hour and enjoyed beer and wine for $6 each and several delicious appetizers ($8 each): - Flatbread (today it was spicy calabrese, caramelized onions and mozzarella) - Whipped feta and chill (with broccolini and this delectable sweet and spicy sauce) - chimmichurri burger (1/2 lb) - tortitas de papa (potato patties with a poblano sauce) We also got the housemade puccia bread and herb butter. We finished with the crème brûlée that had just a little citrus which was perfection. It was all wonderful, perfectly prepared and flavorful! My personal favorite was the whipped feta and broccolini. It was so good I ordered one to go! We look forward to coming back to try the rest of the menu!

First of all, this place should be a $$$ restaurant. It's a cool, trendy bar/restaurant. The happy hour is great with $5 off most cocktails and a discount on appetizers. The drinks were interesting. We tried the lavender drink - but didn't care for it. Then we tried the bonfire espresso martini. It was okay - more chocolate milky than espresso. It comes with two large marshmallows that they scorch table-side, but it only scorched the top - so they should use smaller marshmallows. The margarita was good. We had the broccolini appetizer which was excellent. Then we ordered the pappardelle pasta, steak and fries, and mole mushroom. Our favorite was the steak and fries. The pasta was different - but tasty. We didn't care for the mushroom. Service was excellent, patient, and attentive. The noise level is great. There is off street parking.

What a great find thanks to Yelp. My wife found Slowly offering Tuesday Night date specials including three course meal for two with complimentary champagne for $65. It was a bit of a drive from North County and parking can be challenging, but it was well worth it. The staff was very gracious and helpful and the food was phenomenal. From the prix fix menu we ordered the coconut shrimp as appetizer and it was an appropriate serving for two. For dinner we had the Yadi's Chicken and the Leisurely Burger. Both were delicious. To cap our meal we had Creme Brulle for dessert. This was definitely a find we look forward to returning to, specifically since it's an area near and dear to my wife.

loved it! for dinner we got the chicken, the skirt steak, mussels & clams, and the stuffed peppers. we got the yuzu to go with the peppers and was super delicious. we got the Gelato and Pay de queso for dessert

Came to Slowly for happy hour. The ambience and service were great, perfect for a date and the cutlery and decor were very nice! The oysters were $1.50 with a minimum order of 6. They weren't the freshest oysters I've had and the flavor was just okay. I also expected more flavor from the mango habanero. There was just something lacking about it. If the flavors improved it would definitely be a great spot!

Wonderful service and food. Decided to come here because the menu was a little different from most restaurants we've seen around San Diego. Lillian was our server and was very helpful and attentive.

Crispy cauliflower: everyone's favorite! So flavorful and crispy and the yogurt goes with it so well. Mozzarella arancini: delicious Ham and cheese bites: a little too small, kind of dry, but good flavors. Probably won't get again. The bar was not really our vibe (it was very loud with minimal tiki theming and zero tiki music - the only thing that was truly tiki was the menu) but the staff and the large and interesting menu made up for it. We had a phenomenal time both nights talking drinks and ingredients with the bartenders and were so excited to come back. We came back yesterday when the bar opened at 5, hoping to have a quieter experience and the opportunity to talk with the bartenders again. Instead, the music was already blasting and they were in the middle of hosting a loud, drunk party. No worries, we were going to soldier through to have the Pandan Colada and explore the menu some more, until.... Horrors! We opened the menu. The drink list was now half the size. THERE IS NO MORE PANDAN COLADA. I saw some drinks that maybe might have been interesting, but it was not worth tolerating the late night drunken dance club vibes at 5pm to find out. There were no more banana drinks. It doesn't seem like any drinks now get lit on fire, which I admit is important to me. This place instantly went from one of our most important San Diego spots to visit to one not worth spending time in at all. We went next door to Captain's Quarters where we learned there's been a management change. So the Pandan Colada and multiple banana drinks on the menu are gone, as is our interest in ever returning. I wish all the best to the bartenders, who seemed to really care about what they were making, and I'd like to extend two middle fingers to the new management for breaking our Girl Drink Drunk hearts.

I'm just extremely disappointed with how poor my experience was today because I had only super positive experiences previously and was looking forward to dining there this morning after sometime away, but holy hell ....today's experience has been so profoundly bad. Firstly, my husband ordered two breakfast burritos - one with bacon and the other with bacon on the side. I'll chalk this one up to miscommunication, but they put bacon in one, and bacon in the other too - and then added bacon on the side to the other and charged us $5.50 for the extra bacon. Again, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt here and will be sure to communicate explicitly next time. They kindly made me a new one, but the new one had potatoes that weren't cooked thoroughly (likely to rush the food to me, so I acknowledge the difficulty here), however there was hardly any avocado. I literally had to complain again because I didn't believe there was any avocado at all. I wouldn't be as pissed if this weren't an EIGHTEEN DOLLAR breakfast burrito. Lastly, the coffee lids don't fit on the cups. We tried to put one on and ended up spilling the entire coffee. I chalked this up to an accident on our part, however another patron who observed our incident said "their lids don't fit the cup, right??" And I was like "oh so it wasn't just us??" And she was like "no, I almost spilled mine all over too." This random patron encouraged us to ask for a new cup of coffee as a result (thanks, random patron!). The Molly's team did kindly make us a new (albeit quite bitter) drink, which I appreciate. However, the lid was still an issue - it would spill out of the cup all over the rim between the cup and the lid when I'd try to take a sip, so I took off the lid entirely, but then was stuck with dealing with spills while walking around - I had to move at a snail's pace to prevent spills altogether. This was easier to deal with random leakage around the entire cup every time I'd sip with the lid on. Ultimately It was just a lose-lose with the ill fitting lid situation. All this to say - Molly's Team, yall were fantastic just a month ago. What happened? I understand food and services in the beach area stuff are often expensive and rarely good, but you guys are *too* expensive for this poor of service and quality. Two stars because at least the folks there are generally nice.
