Parking can be tricky but the energy inside is delightful. Certainly should make a stop here at this really unique coffee shop. I like how they have outside seating and enough seating inside for anyone. It's open. The music is flowing and many options for caffeine no caffeine or any kind of food you may want. They also have a water station, which is really nice so you won't have to ask for water. You just get your own water.

Had a great experience at HiFi - Upshot! I didn't get a chance to snap a photo inside because it was busy but the vibe is definitely inspired by music and old records. It was a great atmosphere. There is limited seating but I was able to snag a seat outside on this unseasonably warm day in December. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and offered some suggestions on food. I ended up going with the original croffle (croissant waffle) and was not disappointed. My golden milk latte was also the perfect flavor. Not from around here but would definitely be back if I was in the area.

Add this tiny 30-seater St. Lous coffee shop into your morning rotation! CAFFIENE BREAK: You're coming for the their seasonal lattes & homemade syrups like brown sugar vanilla! The Smoka Latte is a salted mocha with charcoal powder - get it while it's here! MUNCHIES: Serving both breakfast and lunch, they have yummy avocado toast, breakfast sandwiches, bagels with lox & my favorite: A HUGE BREAKFAST BURRITO. This breakfast burrito is loaded with eggs, bacon, tots, avocado, pico, chipotle crema & an impossible amount of cheese! SWEETS: Don't skip the pastry case filled with chocolate croissants, coffee cake, cranberry brie danish & so much more. Open daily from 7am-4pm

This was our first time at HiFi Upshot and I am so sad I didn't discover it earlier! I ordered a seasonal iced latte which was delicious. My family also enjoyed pour overs and hot tea. We also got French toast, bagel and spread, breakfast sandwiches, croffles, and a cinnamon roll! Everything was fresh and delicious!

I didn't know about this coffee shop until one of my friends took me. Glad they did, first loved the vinyl wall with different music and the ambiance. The service was excellent! The coffee was really good, I got an iced vanilla latte which is always good. Food: Burrito - my favorite item on the menu. So filling and good. Cinnamon Roll - if you want something sweet this is also an item to definitely get! Ham and Cheese - another item to get if they are out of the burrito!

Cute coffee shop in Clayton just a little past Brentwood Blvd. I read about it somewhere and was in the area and decided to go there. I ordered coffee, a bagel and cream cheese and a burrito. The coffee was delicious as well as food. Service was fast and friendly! Need a cuppa? Head to HiFi!

Just visited for the first time! Great coffee, kind of small menu when it comes to the drinks. The staff were attentive, quick, and friendly. The inside is very cute, there's lots of space to sit. Got my coffee to go and my only wish is that there were more drink menus to look off of.

Hifi has the best breakfast burritos and always has good seasonal lattes with homemade syrup! This place has ~neighborhood bar~ vibes but in coffee form.

This little unassuming spot checks all the boxes: great coffee, great food (the croffles are delicious), wonderful team who care about you and your experience and a delightful atmosphere. I love the soft retro feel with the turntables and greenery of the wandering pothos. My only regret is not grabbing a bag of coffee on my way out. Way to go team Hifi-Upshot! See you again soon!

I was so excited to try out this new coffee shop in the Clayton area. I have seen many pictures of HiFi - Upshot and I could tell even before coming there that the vibe was going to be dope. I went on a Friday morning and it was popping in the shop. The energy was so vibrant matching with the aesthetic of the coffee shop. You can definitely work here too but it's not your typical co-op working coffee shop so don't expect to take your meeting calls. I ordered the cardamom tonic and it was so refreshing, perfect for a hot summer day. It's a harmonious combo of cold brew, orange juice and sparkling water. I also got a bagel and cream cheese and it was yummy as well. They have a side parking lot behind the building in the neighborhood but it's a bit limited so you can either do meters or street parking in the neighborhood. Watch out for the resident/permit only parking signs. Overall, I do enjoy my experience here a lot and I will return.

Pretty cool cafe here- when I walked in they were playing music from a Japanese vinyl and the vibe was great. There were a few people here and there studying and working with their drinks and the staff made sure everyone there was comfortable while they were working. I was greeted with a lot of enthusiasm when I walked in and I tested out a few of their drinks while I was there. The matcha cloud was awesome- I've never thought to put coconut water in my matcha so that was a unique surprise. They have a few other drinks on their menu that looked fun too! I did not have the chance to try their food but overall it is a super cute shop!

    Chocolate chip banana oat cookie

I saw this place come across my feed and after taking a look at the website, knew it was something I wanted to see in person. I decided to stop here omw to church. I received a warm greeting whilst walking in. The place is smaller than imagined but cozy. After seeing how good their breakfast sandwiches looked, I decided to get the classic and a chocolate chip banana oat cookie. There was one person ahead of me who was waiting on her food, so I assumed it wouldn't be too long of a wait. All of a sudden, a rush of people came in with their dogs. Don't get me wrong, while I love animals, it probably wasn't ideal to have them in such a small place, especially with tables their height. It didn't help once they started barking. After a while, I finally got my food. I was a bit disappointed with my sandwich. While the taste was great, overall, it was much smaller than pictured. Additionally, it was a weird contrast tasting a semi-warm egg to a cold avocado. It would have been nice if everything were the same temperature. As for the cookie, I have mixed reviews. Unfortunately, the cinnamon and oats overpowered whatever chocolate was supposed to be in the cookie. I feel like I tasted everything but the chocolate and the chocolate chip is supposed to be the best part. I enjoyed the food and will more than likely come back, but will try something different next time.

The flavors are plentiful, the creativity is unmatched, and the quality of the ingredients is truly unrivaled. I honestly don't think there's a better cheesecake shop that I've encountered anywhere in my travels. The staff is generally very helpful and welcoming, with Lindsy in particular being a consistent standout at the front register over the years. I've been a loyal customer for a long time and have easily spent thousands of dollars on Hank's cheesecakes for both personal celebrations and professional events. The product itself has always been worth every penny. That said, I was disappointed to learn of the new policy charging $2 simply to slice a cheesecake. When purchasing a $25-$400+ cheesecake, an additional fee for a task that takes roughly 20 seconds feels unnecessary and, frankly, a bit off-putting. While I understand that rising costs are impacting businesses everywhere, this type of nickel-and-diming can feel discouraging--especially to long-standing, repeat customers who have consistently supported the business. Hank's Cheesecake remains exceptional, and the product is second to none. I hope management reconsiders this policy, as it slightly detracts from what has otherwise been an outstanding customer experience for many loyal patrons.

Honestly, if you judged it by the outside, you might drive right past it. There is one parking spot in front, and then a run down parking lot behind and to the side. The moment I walked in, I felt like I was back in my childhood. The lime green decor, the dark bakery display cases filled with buns, and the small plates of food inside reminded me of the Cantonese bakeries I grew up going to. They also had ready to go meals wrapped up to take home. We bought a bunch of things to try. We had the beef cheung fun, siu mai, BBQ pork baos, sesame balls, egg custard tarts, and one of my favorites, the giant round sponge cake. Everything was fresh and really tasty. The roast pork looked delicious too, with nice crispy skin. The biggest surprise for me was seeing lo po beng (Old Wife Cake). We can hardly ever find it on the East Coast, so whenever we do, we always buy some for my mom. Seeing it here made me so happy. I live in the Metro D.C. area, where we have some really good Cantonese bakeries, so I wasn't expecting much from this tiny place. But honestly, Wei Hong Bakery could definitely give many of the bakeries back home a run for their money. Don't let the outside fool you. If you're looking for authentic Cantonese bakery items in St. Louis, this little bakery is absolutely worth a visit. It brought back so many childhood memories, and I'd definitely stop again the next time I'm in town.

On the day of the wedding, they delivered two cakes that looked really good on the outside. When we finally did the cake cutting, we discovered that they'd delivered two different cakes: one with chocolate filling and one with raspberry. Both cakes were dry. Considering what we paid for these cakes, the difficulty making contact with anyone from the shop, and the utterly unforgivable mistake of getting the order wrong (not to mention that the cakes were dry), we regret ordering from them for what was a really important event. They may shine most of the time but you'd never know it from the experience we had with them.
