So I called High Flow Mufflers yesterday1/6/2020 and PePe answered the phone so excited and eager to help! I never did business here but just the way he answered the phone I already knew if he could do the work on my sad little gmc sonoma baby then i would definitely return. I,as a girl, felt very comfortable so I sent my fiance in with the truck. He helped her quickly and with no issues.. Later we returned and he was able to remove the O2 sensor and also let us know there was another issue with the truck that could possibly harm the CAT and with that I was SOLD! My truck may not be the prettiest and being that we use it daily it was a relief to hear the confirmation of what is wrong with my truck. Last thing was the price. I was relieved to hear the low cost of this repair so we tipped them for just being great and not trying to rip 2 girls off. even though i was a little late before closing. Luis and Pepe insisted not to worry and won't let me leave until the invidia catback on my subaru wrx was installed and running. he was completely professional throughout. There were some minor fitment issues related to the invidia manufacturing so they were able to get the job done nearly one hour after closing hours. Had to get my catalytic converter taken care of so that my check engine light would come off so that I could get my smog check so that I could pay for my car registration. Called at 4:15 p.m., was quoted an honest price over the phone, asked if they could do it at that time, yes. Drove over and was there no later than 4:45. After talking about the particulars, I left the car for them to put up on the lift at 5:00, went to the grocery store down the block and was back by 5:30 and the car was done. Great price, check. I got a friend that works for a local aftermarket autoparts company who quoted me a price on a Flowmaster 40. Just the muffler, no installation or anything. Well, I payed the same amount for the Flowmaster 40 AND a nice chrome tip here at Hi Flow. Install was quick and easy and labor was $45. First met Pepe at AAA Muffler in West Los Angeles when he did a Remus Exhaust on my Mercedes Benz 300E. I was so impressed with his work and honesty, that when I got my CLK55 AMG I knew there was no other place to have my exhaust upgraded. When I called AAA Muffler they told me Pepe was no longer there so I started searching for him. To my surprise he had opened his own shop in Long Beach. Although his new shop was 50 miles away from my home in Northridge, I knew there was nobody else to get the job done. I made that drive and boy am I glad I did.
