Pastrami sandwich on rosemary and oil bagel--pastrami, cheese, sauerkraut and dressing
    Krisdena R.

Came here with a friend for lunch. Ordered a pastrami sandwich on a rosemary and oil bagel with a side of chips, and drink for lunch and 2 plain bagels for later. Meat on sandwich was a sizable portion. Sandwich arrived hot & delicious. Make sure to have a few napkins handy, as sandwich was a bit messy to eat. Friendly and attentive staff. Turn around from order to receipt was also reasonable. Location offers counter service and a few tables for indoor and/or outdoor seating. They also offer breakfast sandwiches. Great alternative for breakfast or lunch.

The bagels were so fresh this particular morning. I had to have tooth: the egg everything and the pumpernickel both with plain cream cheese. They have so many breakfast options however, as well as deli options for lunch. So much to choose from they also have coffee and different drink options. There's also an entire display of take-home items and pastries. My only regret for this place was that they didn't have any electrical sockets where you can plug in your computer and work at the same time otherwise a great location and great service.

This is my fav breakfast spot ever! I stop here every time I return to High Point. The rosemary olive oil bagels are my absolute favs. The service is always friendly and the bagels are fresh. The BLT and breakfast sandwiches never miss and the restaurant is always bright and clean. The bagels freeze amazingly well, I always take a dozen back home with me as this is the only place I've ever found rosemary and olive oil bagels - I've searched all the DC area and still haven't found them.

NY style bagels in the middle of NC!! This by Far is one of the best bagels in the area! They are always making them when we are ordering. So I know they are fresh!! Worth the wait in line, if there's a line. I had a BLT on an everything bagel today!! So good.

New favorite breakfast stop!! The options were expansive and the taste was even better. It was incredibly busy on a Sunday morning but the workers were fast and from entering the shop to eating a fresh bagel, it only took about 15 minutes. I ordered the Asiago bagel with bacon and scallion cream cheese. I loved the ratio of cream cheese to bagel. I wish the bagel had a little more cheese on it but that might just be me being greedy. I do have to say that the garlic and herb flavor I tried from another persons order was definitely the winner. If I return that will be my pick!

Updating my last review. Today's experience is different than my last review. I ordered my usual and was very disappointed. You can see my last review compared to this one. Much less cream cheese and not worth the price for what I got.

This is a small mom and pop bagel shop that throws you back to the 90s days. The food is decent price and amazing to eat. Their portions are large so they definitely fill you up. Their service is fast as well. Be wary they may mess up your order slightly (I had asked for everything bagel but got plain) if they're busy, but overall they're pretty on point.

Love this spot! Their bagel recipe is great, great mix between crunchy/toasty and chewy. My go-to is an egg everything with tomatoes, onions and scallion cream cheese. But I love all their flavors, both the sweet and savory options! They also have sandwich options too, Which I haven't tried but have heard are pretty good. Service is fast, and the ambiance is great. If you're in high point, this is your bagel spot!!

Around the holidays, I decided to stop into High Point Bagel and pick up a dozen bagels to make for some easy breakfasts in the coming days, and hopefully offer something tasty for our guests. I'd visited High Point bagels a few times in the past, just to get one or two, or get a breakfast sandwich, so buying a full dozen was a first for me. My wife suggested I get a good variety, so I went with a mission. I received a rather mediocre welcome, but chocked it up to the early morning hours. They had a great selection, so getting a variety was no issue. I began noting my order as they filled a bag, but specifically asked for a few everything bagels to be packed separate, since they can be rather overpowering. I assumed, they picked them in another bag within the large bag, only to get home to find they were all packed in the same bag. So I was definitely disappointed that request couldn't be acknowledged. As far as the quality of the bagels go, they do make some great food, but that small detail of how they packed my order definitely bothered me, since I specially asked. I, would, and probably will return, though, I'll certainly keep a better eye on how my order is packed

All of the employees we encountered were very friendly. Ally was our server and was AMAZING. We told her it was our first time there and she gave us some great recommendations. They also made a really good margarita and I am not typically a fan of traditional margaritas. The food and drink recommendations she made for the table were great, and the onion rings are definitely the best ones we've had in the area since relocating here. Both sandwiches we had were great. The Chicken Philly had a little bit of a kick to it, which made it a nice change from usual Philly sandwiches and the Cuban was different from a traditional Cuban as it had some barbecue sauce on it. It was a little different for me at first, but I ended up really liking it. Both salads were pretty big and both people really liked the salads. The person that got the blackened grouper Baja salad thought that the grouper was fabulous, seasoned perfectly and loved the salad overall. This will definitely be a place added to our usual rotations...

Great casual atmosphere, the staff have really come into their own, and the food is simple but has little touches that often make it a small cut above most other sports bar type places around. My favorite things to order are the smashburgers, chicken philly (almost as good as the one at Old Town, a restaurant also belonging to this same owner), and now the fish and chips. I decided to get those last night, and the fish was two good size thick cod filets, fried and breaded perfectly. The fish was flaky and tender, the remoulade it came with really elevated it, I'm glad it was not plain tartar sauce (gross). The appetizer favorite here is the pulled pork nachos for me, otherwise, we usually just get meals. If I had one small complaint, it's that the tea is usually brewed pretty weak. Steep it a little longer, and you've got me fully hooked.

Part of that is due to its proximity to area businesses although the friendliness of the folks working here certainly helps too. The same family that owned Jack's Corner near UNCG owns this place. In light of that and of how long they've been around, I really wanted to like Wallstreet Deli. Ultimately, I found it to be solid if not impressive. Though Wallstreet bills itself as a New York-style deli, it really isn't much of one, and if you head in expecting that experience, you'll leave disappointed. Approach it as a sandwich shop with some Mediterranean/Middle Eastern offerings, however, and it acquits itself much better. The menu features hot and cold sandwiches, burgers, salads, plus souvlakis, gyros, kababs, and falafel. I was craving a cheesesteak, and the steak and cheese combo with fries fit the bill nicely. Even after adding mushrooms (an upcharge), it still came out under $15 pre-tax. I took it to go and found it satisfying. The sandwich offered a decent amount of meat and plenty of flavor. The fries were OK - not as crisp as they could be but not underdone or undersalted - though I would probably skip them on a future visit. Wallstreet Deli is a fast, friendly, fairly tasty lunch option for anyone in the vicinity of the airport, but take proximity out of the equation, and you can find better Mediterranean and better sandwiches elsewhere in town.

They make a lot of their sides from scratch, and bake their own breads. Everything is made to order, so be ready for a short wait, but know that it is worth it. To get here, once you're on Airpark road, take your second right. If you hit the traffic circle you've gone too far. After taking that right, drive to the end of the straightaway and you'll be confronted with a large parking lot on the right. Spring Garden Bakery is in the back right corner. The restaurant is clean. Minimally appointed. Don't expect comfy chairs, they use the industrial grade metal ones. No one is staying here very long so that is fine. Menus are on the counter as you approach the register, and photos are on Yelp if you want to look first. They have a wide selection of sandwiches, salads, burgers, and daily specials. Drinks are either brewed tea, or canned/bottled beverages. I have grown particularly fond of their club sandwich. It comes with a lot of meat on it, and they're happy to sub in Honey Mustard for mayo, which is the way I prefer it. Another thing that I love here, when they have fried okra, GO FOR IT. It appears to be hand-breaded and fried to order, the most recent batch I had was perfect. Golden brown, crispy outside, tender okra inside. Yum. Visit this place for an excellent meal at an excellent price!

I can now say I understand all the good reviews and the hype! Everything about Miam is great. The food we had, the service, the speed of food coming out, and the variety of options. This location even has a bar! Offering mimosas and coffee cocktails on a Sunday. The place was very clean and Sunday meant a big breakfast crowd. We managed to get seating though straight away. The decor is nice and simple and bright. Our server was nice and attentive, came by several times until we were ready ! Just got coffees to drink, even though they do have specialty coffee drinks. I'm not a big breakfast eater so was glad to see they had other options. I went with lunch for breakfast! I got the amazing chicken souvlaki plate. This is a serious plate of food. Perfectly cooked chicken, pita, Greek salad which is so colorful and fresh, plus you get a side. I got the fries. Which were chunky and fresh and better than most fries I've had. So much food I barely made a dent in it. The tzatziki comes on the side, it was a little runnier than most I've had before, I think I prefer the thicker creamier ones. My friends had the French toast with pecans, which she enjoyed, 2 big pieces of thick toast, with butter. She also got a side of bacon, which was a nice sharing serving . The melted scramble was the other plate we had on the table. Another big portion, the shredded hash browns looked delicious, you get toast and a big eggy, veggie and meaty scramble ! So much food we needed another 3 people really. Food comes out fresh, hot and fairly quickly. Impressive on a busy day. Restrooms are nice and big and smelt nice! Always a good thing! Plenty of parking around the building. The only thing I thought was kinda weird was the set up of the restaurant, kind of a maze, weird entrance, but the food and service were awesome. Will definitely be trying that one in Clemmons soon!
