I just really liked these cups...when the OJ was filled up it was so pretty.

This is more like a 4.6, I was pleasantly surprised by everything here! Nice variety on the menu, wonderful, attentive & friendly service, and a really clean, new interior. We went for Friday brunch with a 7 top and although it's a small restaurant, they were very accommodating & all our dishes came out together in a timely fashion. I ordered a vegetarian omelette, no cheese add bacon. Loaded with lots of veggies & since there were a couple of Mexican dishes ordered at the table they brought us a couple of salsas which paired nicely with my dish. Besides a variety of breakfast dishes, American & Mexican they had some fresh seafood specials written on a hoard at the front. Our friends had come for dinner the day before since we were staying in an Air B & B close by and he got to meet the owner. He said he was very nice & his mom was cooking in the evening & his uncle in the day. If you're everything Long Beach Washington this is a solid choice for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Great food, waitress very helpful, I had questions about the different prawn choices and she described them all. My husband had the special tacos alsada, and she was very helpful with the different sauces.

High Tide hits the spot every single time. The Carne Asada Fries are loaded, flavorful, and easily some of the best in the area. The Beef Nachos are just as good--stacked high, plenty of cheese, and perfect for sharing (or not!). I also tried the Asada Burrito, which was packed, tender, and super satisfying. Even the basics shine here--the hamburger is cooked well, juicy, and surprisingly delicious for a spot known for Mexican food. And definitely don't skip the Steamers. They're hearty, flavorful, and exactly what you want when you're craving true comfort food. Overall, great portions, fresh ingredients, and consistently good flavors. I'll definitely be back!

Was very curious about this place but had not stopped...well that changed and now have been there 3 different occasions in less than a month. It's a great atmosphere and service is top notch. So many yummy food options. Definitely recommend giving it a shot

The service was great! Super nice people and it has cute decorations on the inside of the restaurant. I ordered Roja chilaquiles, which were delicious. Love the vibes in there and I highly recommend coming here.

Let's be clear, the Mexican dishes are on point! The service left a little a little to be desired.. In their defense, they have only been open a couple months, so they are still likely working out the kinks. The ambiance seems a bit cookie cutter, but it was comfortable.

This is the deconstructed molcajete and soooo delicioso

The food and service were outstanding!! This is perfect spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner.. highly recommend coming here. Have not experienced such amazing service in a while

What a taste treat we experienced the other day at the High Tide Grille. This new, clean, cozy little joint is worth trying! Not only is the service impeccable, the food was delicious and plentiful! I got the chicken enchiladas with mole. The enchiladas were tender, and tasty. The mole was some of the best mole I've ever had. A slight sweet cocoa flavor was definitely present, but it was not overpowering....just perfect. I am no expert on mole, but I found this sauce to be incredibly delicious. My friend got the Nachos. And boy, they were loaded and good! I also ordered the Quesabirria special to go, for my husband. Neither one of us has ever had birria before and I can honestly say, we will certain have it again! So, SO good! My husband's first comment upon biting into one of the dipped tacos was "this is one tasty sauce". We will certainly be going back to High Tide Grille and you should definitely check them out! The staff is top notch friendly and inviting. Good food, good service, two hearty thumbs up from me!

I've lived on the peninsula for a few years now. After the quirky but good "Yamilet" went out of business, the High Tide Grille popped up in its place. This quickly became my go-to spot for a commendable blend of Mexican zest and American comfort. The 4.5-star Yelp glow from enthusiastic locals is well-deserved. The owner-manager, a charismatic and attentive "Daniel" has made his mark in restaurant management here. His place boasts clean vibes, a welcoming yet simple décor, and a rather unusual twist: his home-brew drone videos of local landscapes looping on the big screen. I've probably been here 8-10 times now, and in all but one takeout case, it's been a hit. People love the loaded Carne Asada Fries, piled high with tender beef they say is the best around. Beef Nachos? A cheesy, shareable delight that never disappoints. I've had the Chicken Enchiladas with fantastic mole or homemade verde sauce three times. Quesabirria tacos could be seen by some as a tad greasy, but to others they are a juicy revelation with liberal dipping in addictive consume. Fish tacos are the bomb (get them deep fried or grilled). The chicken-fried steak breakfast plate with "Lao's famous sausage gravy," is some of the best ever. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, and prices under $40 for two make this place a come-back hit. It is always a plus when Daniel's serving, but other help keeps uip a reputation for top-notch service and inviting atmosphere. If you're craving real flavor with heart, this is a solid choice. Drink note: Hope they get their beer/wine license soon. A dive like this needs some libations!

The steamer clams and fish tacos are amazing! A perfect blend of Mexican and American cuisine. So good!!

Personable, professional service! The kitchen knew what they were doing and the server knew exactly how to explain and tempt the pallet! We had the cheeseburger and waffle-cut fries, which was delicious! We also ordered their special of Barrios Tacos! Oh my! The barrios dip was heavenly and fried tacos were LOADED with pork and melted gooey cheese! I give those a solid TEN! We will go back there, for sure!

We own a house in Long Beach, and during the time we lived there full-time, this was our go-to spot for anniversaries and my husband's birthdays. It exudes that cozy, historic Seaview charm that invites you to relax and linger...warm, intimate, and full of character without being over the top. A true small-town and now not so hidden gem. My husband is a fan of their Old Fashioneds, particularly those with a smoked maple twist, and he often gravitates back to the slow-braised pork. Their current Southern Comfort Pork dish is just his style: slow-braised pork shoulder served over brown sugar yam mash with jalapeño creamed corn, green onion, and maple-bacon salsa. That's comfort food crafted with real culinary skill. As someone who follows a plant-based diet, I truly appreciate how The Depot makes an effort to accommodate vegetarian and vegan diners in a way that feels genuine rather than forced. Last winter, I was thrilled to discover the ginger-coconut soba noodles, they were flavorful, satisfying, and perfectly balanced. Their current mika soba noodles with garlic-ginger coconut cream, vegetables, toasted cashews, and cilantro are exactly the kind of dish I'm thankful to find on a Peninsula menu. I also have fond memories of Burger Wednesdays from our time on the Peninsula. It's incredible how satisfying a customized portobello burger can be when a kitchen understands texture and seasoning especially in a place where plant-based options can still be scarce. The food is fantastic, but the service deserves a special mention. While Peninsula restaurants are known for their good service, The Depot's service is exceptional: polished, friendly, warm, and just the right amount of attentive. Although we now reside in California, we plan to make another reservation when we return to the Long Beach Peninsula in July. I'm already looking forward to their summer menu. Note: I've forgotten to take photos so the ones on this review are from the restaurants social media - definitely a reflection of our last meal at The Depot without the drinks.

We ended up ordering the BLTTA sandwich with house made chips, the reuben sandwich with sweet potato waffle fries and one of their daily specials, brisket with macaroni and cheese. The food was fresh and delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly and we all finished our food. No leftovers. We especially loved the sweet potato waffle fries; crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The turkey on the BLTTA was not lunch meat, it was fresh turkey breast. So yummy! Overall a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back to try some of their other menu items. Highly recommend.

We checked in with the hostess who saw the notes for my requests. The hostess took care to seat us at the perfect table to enjoy each other, the view, and the music. I saw a review where the couple didn't like their table facing the view but side by side chairs. We got that same table - we loved it for the intimacy and view! (We did book at sunset rather than after dark. *Note--yes we were facing the ocean and sun was beaming in but it wasn't an issue due to the adjustable shade. The service was as such that I believe they would have accommodated us had we been unhappy. YAY - we got Alyssa as our server! I saw her name in a few Yelp reviews and she didn't disappoint. Randall, whose name I also saw was the bartender - and ditto for him. They serve a "Cocktail for a Cause" -- this month was for Pride. It went down fast so I ordered a Sazerac and was a happy sipper. Starters: Clam Chowder and Burrata. One of the BEST clam chowders I've had (Alyssa did say it was a new batch from earlier that day so lucky us.) The Burrata didn't dazzle my tastebuds but it was still good. ‍ Entrees: Fried Rock Fish with hand-cut fries -- good. They dust the fries with rice flour before frying...different but still tasty. My partner is a hand-cut fries traditionalist so I enjoyed them more than he. Alyssa....chicken or pork... she said pork so... Pork Schnitzel: perfectly prepared with a wonderful onion gravy! Served with fingerling potatoes and brussel sprouts. For my taste the fingerlings were a touch overdone and the brussels were a touch underdone (and no, I don't like mushy veg.) The live music was around the corner so we could still hear each other AND enjoy the music. Wonderful Cost was pricey but we left full of good people, good drinks, good food, and good music. Worth the money in my book!

As soon as I walked in I got a dirty look from the hostess (blonde young lady). Obviously if I walked into the restaurant I want to eat here, anyways I said okay and then instead of writing anything down she lets someone else get put down and then walks away. This other lady then comes up and asks if we were the 4 that was just written down and she just nodded her head no. That lady (brunette with glasses) then asks how many and says it'll be about a 30 minute wait. I said okay. As I was just sitting there waiting the blonde just kept looking over and staring and giving dirty looks. I came to this place expecting good food and I left hungry and disappointed. Never in my life have I felt so judged.
