The fairways and greens were as good as I've played all year in MA, NH and CT. The layout is great and many of the views are beautiful. It's a challenging course, but not overly so. Back 9 tougher than the front, but both are fun and challenging. If you're spraying the driver, keep it in the bag. Of the criticisms - this one is ridiculous: "In more than one case you literally tee off INTO another tee box. It defies logic. The place looks like it was hit by a meteor. " Utterly ridiculous - NOWHERE do you tee off INTO another tee box, that is idiotic - maybe he should have checked the map on the card. Nor does it look - AT ALL - like it was hit by a meteor. Construction is limited to base of clubhouse area and not near any holes. They have the building - which is really unique and modern looking - and are working around the base of the building while STILL having a nice outside patio area and inside bar. So, NO - no meteor strike... The cart paths need some attention (potholes) - big whoop - other than that, the place is awesome. Ordered some food and drinks at the turn, but since they were busy, they had us go ahead and start the back 9 - they drove out the food and drinks to us on the 10th tee which was great! Staff very nice - really went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. The smash burgers alone are worth the trip. We'll definitely be back - maybe this fall - but once they're done with the clubhouse this place will be really special.

This time it was for a smaller group event so the package wasn't as big. They did have some new things this year like a warrior course and extra bounce houses but it used to have horses I'm sad that those are gone. The bathrooms are in desperate need of updates the toilets are really crooked in all of the stalls there are notices to use paper towels on the walls yet they don't have paper towel holders. The donuts and muffins for breakfast we're not very good. The taco bar was delicious we got burgers hot dogs and a small buffet of chicken corn and coleslaw and potato salad they still have the ice cream truck where you can get unlimited ice cream and cotton candy and popcorn which are my favorite parts of Holiday Hill they have paddle boats and kayaks two pools those changing rooms need to be updated as well. There's a bunch of abandoned buildings on property that I believe used to have something to do with a camp. They have a lot of sport activities like ping Pong volleyball basketball tennis and mini golf. One of the mini golf holes is clogged and doesn't let the ball go through into the other spot like it's supposed to. It's nice for an outing but it definitely needs a lot of updates.

Everyone, from the GM to the bartender to the bride wrangler and operations teams was professional, friendly, and good-natured. They brought a lot of intensity and professionalism, keeping everyone on schedule, but still managing to make us feel like spoiled guests along the way. Was especially impressed by Bridget and Emily and how hard they worked to make my brother's wedding go perfectly. The space itself is really nice -- the greenery of the golf course was a gorgeous backdrop for the wedding, and the interior space was tasteful & well-appointed, with great lighting and nice decor. Overall, everyone had a fantastic time, and I didn't hear a single complaint from the wedding party. The food was great, too -- nothing bland or too exotic, just fresh, creatively-prepared classics. My steak did come out a little more cooked than I'd like, but it was still totally delicious -- I would just recommend emphasizing that a bit if that's something you really care about. Pros * staff were all really wonderful & graceful, funny additions to the banter around the table * space is gorgeous and very photogenic * fantastic mix of keeping the event on time & still making us feel like we were being pampered * honest, no-bullshit feedback about what they could accommodate and what wasn't possible * uniformly great feedback from every guest I talked to Cons * if you're picky about your steak temp you gotta flag it -- but honestly this happens at every large event This place was overall fantastic and I'd recommend it to anyone for a special event.

I was very good friends with a lot of the members and busted my ass the entire time I was there. In all the time I was there, I never had one complaint against me and an unknown number of compliments. When I left, I left peacefully with no incident. I returned recently to visit some members that I was friends with and haven't seen in a few years since I left. I was told by the Head Professional that he was told to ask me to leave the premises or he would call the police for no apparent reason. I asked why and by who, but wouldn't be given a reason. I left and went to one of the holes on the street to say hi to the members as they passed the hole. The pro was out there and called the police even though I wasn't on property. The police told me I wasn't welcome on the property and if I returned I could be arrested. Again for no apparent reason. I then called the GM and asked why I wasn't allowed on property and was told he didn't need to give me a reason. I said that I worked there for so many years, and thought I deserved to know why. He again said he didn't need to give me a reason. DON"T WORK THERE UNLESS YOU WANTED TO BE TREATED LIKE SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They have a restaurant, but can be booked for weddings and special events. I had the pleasure of visiting the VUE for a wedding. The wedding was beautiful and since there were a lot of vendors and people involved, this review will be based on the VUE's dining space, food, and experience. The space was spectacular--it was like sitting in a glass box in the best way. The chairs on the other hand felt very hard and unstable. During cocktail hour, it was open bar, passed around hors d'oeuvres, a large charcuterie spread, and buffet-styled apps. There was an overwhelming variety from stuffed breads, meats, cheeses, vegetables, fruits, penne alla vodka, mini lobster rolls, and so much more! My favorite was the mac & cheese. Before dinner began, the staff went around to confirm everyone's dishes since it was a plated dinner. There were 4 options: beef, fish, chicken, and a vegetarian (cauliflower steak) dish. The staff took the time to take down guests' preferences on how they wanted their steaks cooked and alert the kitchen with a food restrictions or allergies. This did slow down the time for dinner, but I was surprised the staff did that for a large wedding. I picked the vegetarian dish, a cauliflower steak that was seasoned with turmeric, other Indian spices, and a cream sauce. It was a little try and wished there was more sauce. It was served with a delicious cooked spinach and mashed potatoes. Everyone at our table cleaned their plates--Chicken Francese and Filet Mignon. We left the wedding very full and satisfied.
