Worst car wash I have ever received. I chose the middle priced one and it only went with a spray wash and my car came out as one would expect. Still had mud on the car and was barely clean. What happened to the flaps that run down the side and wash the car? This was only a spray and then an air dry. That's all go somewhere else and save your money read more

Beware Seniors of Sun lakes retirement community! My father was taken advantaged of! He was charged double what it would cost to put a new battery in! Charged for a simple test and installation of batter $150., with The battery a total of $294.! With Covid 19 he didn't want to travel too far away from home to get a battery. After he went back to confront them and ask them to make it right, they refused. Looks like people will have to by pass this place to get honest, professional service. read more

Fred and his team of amazing mechanics went out of their way to ensure my vehicle was ready to go the very next day for my convenience! As a luxury car owner, I am so grateful that I found this place as their prices are reasonable and they go beyond their means just to satisfy their customers. They are certified to work on foreign cars, my roadside assistance approves of them, & since I have Triple AAA, I also get a discount! They close their shop at 12pm on Saturdays, but here they are still working on my car, regardless of the fact that it's already 2:22pm. They didn't have to do that. I could have waited till Monday (they're closed on Sundays). To top it off, Fred also let me get my car towed and parked at his shop during their after-hours since the service station is 24/7; I just signed some paperwork and left my key with the cashier. This review is on thr customer service of cashier and cleanliness of bathroom. I walked in and the female cashier on this Thursday morning greeted me and was friendly. I told her i needed to use the bathroom and she didn't give me a dirty look or ignore me or anything negative. Plus on customer service! I've seen some pretty gnarly bathrooms on my road trips. This bathroom was impressively clean and I told the cashier that. She modestly said that she tries. I commended her efforts. It's rare to see a gas station bathroom that doesn't make you want to hurl upon entering. Plus on the bathroom cleanliness! They have diesel, btw! Did not use Mobil service for its auto repair or smog. read more

My vehicle broke down and was towed to the Mobile Repair shop after hours. These guys were on point. Fred contacted me immediately the next morning to find out more info on what happened. He explained what they would do and the cost to diagnose the issue. He kept me informed and explained everything and let me know of my options. After some tests and observations they found my engine block had cracked, and several other issues. Unfortunately the engine needed to be replaced. He let me know of my options and prices and even discounted the work a bit. They ordered the engine and had me back up and running the next day! Fast, solid and fair! They were great! Love this place. I came here in summer to get my smog, and I needed repairs....turned out to be just a vacuum line, and they even gave me a discount on the labor. Same thing with the oil change I got last week. Really like this place and I live in Idyllwild now, and I drive all the way down to come here because of the fair prices and excellent service. They have the worst car wash I've ever used. You're forced to pay for the 'deluxe' and it's only a spray wash. There are no spinning clothes etc. only spray. Once we were done, we could see full dirt streaks still in our car. Something only a real car wash could get off. Don't waste your $10. Get a real one from any other car wash in town but this one. I have 3 children and only 1 car, i took it here they charged me $80 to diagnose it which is whatever i paid it, but now all of a sudden i can not drive it at all, it will not accelerate i have never had this problem before but the day after they touch it I have a car that won't run more than 10 minutes. I went to Highland Springs mobile on Monday August 20th to have my car smogged... I pulled my car to the back of the building and walked around to the store that was connected to the Mobil station... I asked the lady and side it was very kind where do I go as far as letting somebody know I need my car smogged... She said... Go around to the back again... Go to the Third garage door and you should see a older gentleman sitting there doing nothing... So I walked around to the back of the building again dot-dot-dot went in the 3rd garage opening... And sure enough there was an older gentleman there Fred sitting at his counter doing nothing... The first thing he says to me is... Did you enjoy your walk... I thought are you kidding me... I told him I said... The lady in the store told me to walk around to the 3rd garage door and I would find somebody sitting here doing nothing... And yet here you are doing nothing... Then I told him... You're lucky I like walking otherwise I would have come around here acting like you... So I give him all my information and papers you needed and I waited about 45 minutes... The gentleman that did my car by the name of Tom he was wonderful very nice gentleman... So when Thomas finished my car... I walked over to Fred dot-dot-dot and I'm waiting and I asked him is that your Honda Accord on the other side of the building... He said nope...... Let me guess you drive a Chevy truck lifted big tires really nice truck... And he tells me... He says I don't need to drive something like that to show how big my dick is... Exact words....i was shocked !!!! I thought I could pull him out of his grumpy disrespectful nasty mood he was in... But I guess not!!! read more

Car broke down in Banning, at night, as I was traveling from Phoenix to LA for my mom's funeral. Left car at garage for repair and when returned after funeral, car was fixed. Fred understood my situation of limited ability to communicate and when I contacted him, he had planned course of action with associated costs. We agreed on course of repair. This enabled me to concentrate on my mom's funeral and not worry about car and how I would get back to Phoenix. I checked with my mechanic in Phoenix and cost to repair was reasonable. read more

Let me start by saying this place is a joke. I took my 1990 bronco to get a repair for a failed smog. I took the vehicle in 2 PM on a Friday. I was told by Fred I would get a call in a couple hours to let me know what was needed to repair the car. After being told it was going to be $198 to diagnose the problem and replace a burned out check engine light. The price seems high but I figure they have to take the dash apart just to get to the light to replace it so that's maybe where the time came in. Later Friday night I called back to find out why I haven't heard from anybody. The young lady that answered the phone had said everybody had left for the day. I was ticked off because I hadn't heard from anybody within a couple hours. So the next morning Saturday I called in and spoke to someone on the phone not sure who it was. And he said the truck wouldn't be looked at until Monday. If I wanted to wait till Monday I would've brought the truck in on Monday. Also when I arrived to drop off the truck it was 2 PM like I said earlier but the gentleman that was there was just sitting on his butt eating a sandwich I understood it might be lunch but he could've recognized that I was standing there waiting to be helped. I was in the business for 11 years I do understand that you can't get everybody right away. But you should never lead somebody on and let them think they're going to be helped with in a few hours. read more

My boys and I were stuck this summer in 120 degree heat with a car that overheated. We took it here to get it looked at. Fred greeted us at the door. He made sure that my car was the next on the list and got to it as quickly as he could knowing we were on our way to Texas. He replaced the thermostat and we were off. It overheated 40 miles down the road. We got it back to him and they replaced the radiator after doing two block tests. The guys that work with him are amazing and asked me questions so they could get a thorough picture. They took it for a long text drive and it overheated. Instead of guessing and charging me for a water pump, the next logical and expensive thing, he had me tow it to ford. They told me something different and after having my car a well told me it was ready. It wasn't. It overheated on me again and it took them a total of three weeks to fix . I'm so appreciative of Fred and his guys for not just guessing and replacing anything. Fred told me he wanted me to tow it Ford because they should be able to fix it. To find an honest mechanic, to me is rare. He even called ford to tell them the tests they did on it. He went above and beyond reasonable service and had me call him when I made it home to Texas. If you live in the area this is the place to go. I speak so highly of their integrity! read more

Don't use their repair shop. Botched my oil change by stripping the oil plug. Refused to accept responsibility so I had a competitor replace the oil pan, which cost $750! The auto club finally intervened on my behalf and got Highland Springs to reimburse me the full $750 that I had to pay to correct their mess. Lousy workmanship and very dishonest. read more
