I had the pleasure of being tattooed by Lemon recently and what a joy it was! Lemon worked with me to come up with my perfect tattoo idea from bits and pieces of their flash. They were so welcoming and communicative during the entire process, talking me through where they were going to touch, what they were doing, when it was going hurt a bit more. It was unlike most tattoos I've gotten, which was such a breath of fresh air. My tattoo with Lemon wasn't my first, but how I wish it was! They set me up so well with what to expect and made it less scary and overwhelming. Would get one from them again! Also!! The shop is a safe space for anyone who is LGBTQ+, plus sized, or a person of color. And also! The shop is so dang cute. I had to splurge a bit on some art that wasn't on my body.

Fariha is so sweet and professional. She is there Tuesday-Saturday and I recommend her for all your brow needs. I have gone here before for eyebrow threading and tinting. My previous experiences have been okay. This time I had someone different, and I felt there was room for improvement in the customer service realm. I tried to make an appointment online, which was never confirmed. I called ahead to inquire if I could come at that time because I had not received a confirmation. The woman who answered stated she never checks that anyways. I went in and besides a hello few words were spoken. I asked for a tint and threading. The threading is okay, but nothing spectacular. The tinting was the downfall. As a redhead I feel some thought has to be put into the color. A brown was quickly mixed and thrown on. During the time it set (and I was not told a waiting time or any inkling of it), the woman went to what sounded to be a fridge and was sounded as though she were eating at the desk. I'm not tinting expert, but the time felt longer than previous times I have sat. I only get my brows done once a year for so when I feel like it, and considered I was probably wrong because she is a professional. When she came back and removed the tinting solution I thought they looked a bit dark, but thought it may be my pink skin from the threading/rubbing and the lighting. When I went outside and checked in sunlight I did find they were very dark. They seemed as though they would match the woman's dark brown hair rather than my red. I went back in to inquire if she thought they were dark or if there was anything to do about it. She said she had just used brown, and there was nothing to do. She did apologize, but I thought I would leave this review for any fair skinned red heads out there looking for a tint.

Sarah has made me bleed before because the service is done very fast. In a bad way. I gave her another chance today. There was no line nor was it busy and she rushed leaving me with one thin eyebrow and one normal one. I look like I'm raising my eyebrow all the time. When I brought the issue up, she was gaslighting me telling me that she couldn't thread the other one because it would take a big part of the hair off. Why then would you take more hair from the other eyebrow leaving it thin then? Arezo actually does a very well job, takes her time, is very kind, and GENTLE. So if you go PLEASE ask for her unless you want a painful rough experience. Very disappointing :((

Well isn't this just a cute little cutie mc cute cute of a place?…read more Mah bestie made an appointment for us to get our long awaited cheesy BFF tattoos while I was in town for a visit, and I guess Sarah is her girl, soooo- went with it ‍. The studio is set up in a lil house in a cute neighborhood. The space inside is open and the walls are covered from floor to ceiling in flash work. There are some old style wooden theater seats in the lobby, and free stickers and lollipops on the counter. Who doesn't love free stickers and lollies? ...exactly. Get em. And water. Man I went to that water station like 20x. And it was good. Stay hydrated, folks! And let's just talk about the bathroom for a sec, k? I know you're curious. ...there's a wall of mirror. So when you're peeing, you can watch yourself. And I was like, ummmmm, where do I look? Well at myself, I guess. Because, even though that's weird AF, I couldn't not? And then to take it a step further, I had to take a photo of it? Like I couldn't just be a normal human being and think to myself "oh cool, a big mirror in the shitter room", I had to watch myself pee, take a picture of it, and then post it online. And now here I am. Anyways. Sarah drew up our tattoos quickly with great communication. Her work station was clean, we listened to enya, which is PERFECTLY OKAY PEOPLE, and we chatted about feminism and racism and all that stuff that people get all uptight and offended over. And when I say we, I mean her and my best friend. Because I was being a baby and just laying there like a sack of potatoes. But I listened. The tattoo turned out cute. I'm into it. I have been with her for years, following her to each new place and am continuously amazed by her attention to detail, wealth of skills, and diligence as a business owner. Lashes, from Lily- 100% without a doubt the most positive and trusting experience I've ever had. Not only does she care about her clients but Lily does things right or not at all. I have to admit I am not the most consistent client but I noticed that even when I let my lashes all fall out before a fill, they're not damaged. That was my biggest fear with lashes but Lily's expertise is deep, I would call her a perfectionist. I go for a more natural look. They're subtle, really tasteful and after getting my lashes done from Lily, I doubt that I will find anybody comparable to take her place. ( other than people she trains herself) She's really lovely and her work is damn near perfect. If not perfect.. yeah it's pretty perfect.
