My family and I went to celebrate a birthday and the food was absolutely wonderful! I ordered a large bowl of menudo. It was very clean and delicious! My husband and son had brisket and carnitas street tacos and said it was the best tacos they had! They were full of meat and came in four. The service was great for us being a big party, and there was only one other person in the restaurant. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. It is a small restaurant, but it has some amazing food. I was going to take more pictures, but I started eating and completely forgot.

Some of us got a glass of water, and some didn't. Those that ordered tea got no refills. One ordered a margarita. She got a margarita mixed with wine instead of tequila. Two order Asado plates and got child's plates of Asado at adult prices. One order shrimp. What she got was scary. A ball sitting on a lot of rice. As she took it apart with her fork, we saw it was a ball of Bacon, uncooked bacon with what looked like shrimp (2 shrimp). Nasty as hell. She sent it back and the owner/manager asked her if she had not read what was in the dish before she ordered it. So they didn't come back to our table until they brought us a small slice of soggy coconut cake for free. When we we went to pay they had already added the tip to the tickets. Some had left cash on the table and some of us added a tip at the register not realizing the tip had already been added. They did not let us know. We noticed it later. One of us showed the cashier a picture of an adult plate of Asado that he had eaten at Aguas. She said if you didn't like it, you should have eaten at Aguas.. Anyway as we were paying, the owner/manager watched us the whole time. She looked angry. We all WILL NOT BE EATING AT LA MARGARITAS AGAIN!! Being Rude as hell won't get you any customers.

Dos Compadres as become they typical go to for dine in Mexican food whenever I'm in town…read more Inside it's nice and spacious and well decorated but with no frills. The staff is nice. My dad and his lady friend go there often and we were greeted warmly when we walked in. The manager/owner joked briefly with my dad as he gathered our menus. There was no wait at all and we were able to go right to our table. One thing I noticed that was nice was a sign on their door saying they'd be closed for a week or so for summer vacation. How nice for all the employees. All the food I've tried is great. The rice & beans well seasoned, thoroughly cooked and tasty. Pork asado, enchiladas, and gorditas perfect. The complimentary chips and salsa are also good. When our chips came out they were a little burnt but they swapped them out for us without issue. The salsa was delicious just a little too spicy for me to eat too much of it but I'd say that's a compliment.
