The man at the counter (who I think is the owner) was very rude. I asked him what was in one of their sandwiches and instead of just helping me out he acted like I was stupid by saying "uh... bread..???". They are also cash only, which is inconvenient. The interaction when ordering pretty much killed my entire mood, customer service needs to be improved. read more

If I could give 0 starts to this location I WOULD. The waiters were nice but the old man in the front makes me not EVER want to return to this place. He has the ugliest attitude ever.I had never had an issue at ANY restaurant over ordering for my husband and my self. After the fact still continued to make comments under his breath. Run! Take your money elsewhere. The guy at the front taking orders ruins this place. I'm sure he's the owner, cause if he were an employee he'd surely be fired by now. When ordering food I was told that adding eggs to barbacoa and pico would make me sick. He acted like it was impossible to do. So I asked why I would get he said " well a lot people get sick:" Then he unwillingly changed his mind and said well if you get sick that's your fault. I saw this place accidentally. Looked like a hole in the wall, which means "it has to be good!" I wasn't disappointed. I had ordered a barbacoa torta. Then the man said, "cash only". I ran to an atm and the food was ready when I returned. Still hot. I was watching other people get their food for a brief moment and noticed they were still serving breakfast and it was well past noon. Good to know! My only suggestion, get an atm on site so people can use their card. I'm a cheapo and I don't like paying atm fees. I would still drive to save the $3 fee. Regarding the torta, the barbacoa was "clean" by that I mean no blobs of fat. It was also surprisingly dry. No grease dripping from the bag or the sandwich. This is typically an issue with barbacoa due to the nature of the cut of meat used (beef cheek). The bun was a really good bread. Seemed like it was made in house. I could be wrong. Maybe they buy them in bulk from a local bakery. It looked clean inside the waiting area. I would like to return to have a meal at the restaurant. That way I can check out restrooms. Warning: not all of the staff wear masks while preparing and serving your food. Also, many patrons do not wear masks. The service was less than mediocre but the food is great and for a great price. The food made us sick!! My husband commented that his meat tasted strange and asked me to taste it. The meat was doused in seasoning to cover the poor quality. Choosing this location ruined our day, as food poisioning does not allow for much activity. read more

Wow this place is awesome. I ordered the huevos' la Mexicana with bacon. The dish was actually spicy!! Had fresh cut jalapeños in the eggs and the retried beans were flavorful. The green salsa that comes with your meal is spicy and tangy and would make cardboard taste good. Fast and friendly. read more

Clown at the counter tried to overcharge me by $12, when I asked him to explain the total he flipped out and told me to leave. Why am I the first to review this place? Firstly it is always packed. Do not attempt to go here with more than 4 people. You order at a counter then fight for seating. It is worth it. Best burritos I have had. My favorite is the Jalapeño meat and egg. Its fresh lightly scrambled egg and some chilie verde type meat with stewed jalepenos. It is amazing. read more

Best Mexican food in town. I ordered the tacos, the shells are cooked fresh, not plastic ready-made shells. The hot sauce is spicy, great on the tacos. My husband got the #2, and the chile relleno was cooked perfect and not drowned in cheese like others do to cover up they do not know what they are doing. This is authentic mexican food.
